“Is...the full court is coming?” I asked anxiously glancing between my siblings. Mira raised an amused eyebrow at me.
“Wondering if your boyfriend is coming?” She teased before taking a sip of her coffee and Brennan snorted.
“That’s right, I forgot about the crush you used to have on Halden back then,” he said with a grin. “Does Riorson know that you used to dream of being the Queen Consort?”
Mira let out a laugh as I fought back the blush that threatened to creep up my face. As far as either of my siblings knew, my relationship with Halden was a simple, unrequited childhood crush. One that had quickly been replaced by a growing infatuation with Dain as we grew older and closer in the years our parents had been stationed together. What they hadn’t known was about that disastrous year that found my found wrapped in a web of royal drama.
