As Ziva began to stir from her nap, Tony dropped the pen he had been clicking for the past five minutes, and leaned forward, placing his forearms on his desk. Waiting patiently as she lifted her head, and blinked at the harsh streak of sunlight she found herself in, he interlaced his fingers.
"Pretty sure you were a cat in a previous life," he said, as she sat up straight.
Ziva looked at him in confusion.
He walked over and sat on the edge of her desk. "You enjoy napping in sunbeams, very flexible, nine lives…" He gave her a grave look. "Actually, you might be running out of those."
She tilted her head, eyes turning to slits.
He leaned in closer. “I have definitely heard you purr like a kitten.”
Ziva smirked, but remained silent.
"The only catlike thing I haven't seen you do yet is deliberately shove objects off of a table."
His skin prickled as a mischievous glint appeared in her eye.
“I can fix that,” she said sweetly, and shoved him hard enough to slide off of her desk.
He quickly regained his balance, and looked at her pensively. With a grin, he said, "I guess that just leaves a tongue bath."
