Summary
Night train Odesa-Lviv covers 746 km and takes ten and a half hours, going all the way from the south of Ukraine to the west, almost up to the Polish border. It makes six stops.
Crowley’s an investigative journalist. He spent the last two months keeping his finger on the pulse of the frontline, and he wants to go back to London and turn off his air alarm app and sleep for a thousand years before moving to a different place and leaving before getting attached and failing to do so. But right now, he just wants to be the only person in his train compartment.
Aziraphale decided a new bookdeal is worth visiting a war-ridden country, and seafood and hot chocolate are worth staying for a bit longer. He’s overall happy with his life, and even if something always feels wrong, it’s just the way things are for most people. On his way west, he learns how it is to get something you want to keep, and never be able to do so.
