    Boothill looks at his hands, finds familiar nicks on the backs of them, up his forearms. Familiar in that he’s kissed them before, learned their structure and position with his tongue. He throws himself out of bed, almost sends himself flying – this body is lighter than his metal one, slightly slower to respond. He catches the wall, scrambles to find a mirror.

    Pretty green eyes stare back at him. Red hair curls over his shoulders, falling out of the sleep-braid that’s draped over one shoulder.
