Summary
Jeongin pulls out a crumpled pack and places a cigarette between his own lips. Then, offers one to Hyunjin. Hyunjin tests how far he can push with Jeongin, so he says, “I want yours.”
Jeongin blinks, “Like, you want to share?”
“No,” Hyunjin shakes his head, “I want the one between your lips.”
“Oh.” Jeongin pauses, contemplating what to do. Then, he’s pinching the cigarette between his two fingers, letting it hover over Hyunjin’s lips until he parts them. Jeongin’s gentle, like handing over his smoke is the most important thing he’s ever done in his life. Yes, Hyunjin decides in his head. He thinks he’ll keep him.
