it was only the sixth ellimation challenge and luckily for logan and his team they had finally won after teamwork, that’s something that Richard is very much into, he wants it make everyone’s ideas inclusive to the team, as a coach who is a expert in basketball it was easy to treat everyone with respect.
”alright lucky winners, because you guys won the challenge you can make some call to your loved ones or whatever” the redhead intern said in a negative tone as she announces it, along her was two guys who was giving her a devilish smirk and they shared a kiss to each other making her disgusted.
”god if I wasn’t part of the lgbt community or supportive, I would so call them a slur” she muttered to herself as she feels jealous of Trevor being with Derek, she wanted him to herself..but he just had to-
hold on…why the hell am I focusing on them..

later on while the other team had to face ellimation the winners gets to call someone back at home and some of them were dying to call their besties or partners or someone who close to them, Richard can’t wait to call his parents, he cant wait for them to tell him how proud they are for him.
and finally it was his turn, there was still other people left but not that much he got the phone and decided to call his parents, after some time Richard was finally on call
“hey Brendan! It’s me Richard! me and the team won a challenge so we are able to give you a call! How is Misty doing?” Richard said with a gleaming smile, he was wanting to hear how his husband and daughter are doing.
”oh my god! Richie! It’s so good to hear from you, I had been seeing those “greetings” you had to do, it’s so sweet how you talked about me and Misty, about her she is doing great, she really misses you so much, she really hope you do well!” Brendan said while he cooking up something.
this causes richard to hear some chopping and suddenly gets the idea he’s cooking.
“Brendan are you cooking something?” Richard asked out of curiosity.
”yeah! It’s for me and Misty, just making her a plate! And no it’s not just gonna be a plate, I’m making chicken curry!” Brendan smiled as he replies to Richard.
minutes go by and richard and his husband chatted so much about what’s happening in the game, of course he couldn’t reveal who gets Ellimated since that would not be fair.
”aww that’s great to hearing me out darling, I’m so thankful that we had our date in our house before I have to leave.” he says as he smirks passionately on the phone.
”yeah, it’s what I could do for you my love, I’m so proud of you for lasting that long, your students really misses you!”
Aww tell them I miss them two! anyways I still remember that moment where you and I got a bit excited during watching the telly and-“ Richard said but suddenly he was tapped by someone and looked around to see that it was a ginger haired intern doing his best to be polite.
”hey, um sorry but your five minutes on the phone is up!” Moose politely smiled at richard but luckily the coach didn’t show any form of anger.
”thanks! Anyways babe I gotta go now so I hope you and Misty are ok! Take care!”
he finished the call and thanked moose again and before he was about to leave to go to his team he heard a voice calling out.
”oh hey richard! um, that’s some nice call you did!” Logan spoked to him with a friendly manner.
”oh hello there mate, how are you doing? Did you had a call to someone yet?”
“oh I already did my call, um I don’t mean to sound like a creep but I heard your conversation and..it’s surprising seeing another person who also queer and is in the sports industry” Logan spoked again, richard smiled at that thought.
”haha cheers mate! it’s only my husband on the phone, he’s the best man for me and I’m the best man for him!” Richard replied back thinking about his husband.
”wow that’s so great to hear! never expected you to be gay, you gave me straight vibes.” Logan said trying his best not to be offensive.
”and it is because I’m not a twink nor young haha! Im not mad, some people are surprised when they find out I’m gay.” The basketball coach replied giving out a medium laugh in which Logan laughed too.
”so what’s up?” Richard asked Logan and then he replied to him.
”well like I said, it’s so nice to see a openly queer person in the sports industry!” Logan smiled at the old man with a proud tone although there is a hint of despair which richard managed to pick up on.
”yeah..is everything ok?” Richard said with his smile starting to fall low.
“Well, it’s because I need some help, I had been questioning on whether I’m bisexual..and I think I am.” Logan quietly spoked out and after that he checks by looking there is anyone looking at the both of them.
“Oh I see, well did you talk to your parents about this firstly?” Richard questioned the young lad, he was sure he asked a right question for those type of stuff.
”well not really…I don’t know if they are really supportive on those subjects, I doubt they are to be honest and I’m worried that this could put my popularity in shame but I wanna not move on from this!.” Logan said as he starts to feel nervous and his fingers started to fidget.
he was already shamed by some people for winning bronze but a news report that he is bisexual could attract supporting fans..and THOSE type of fans.
”hey lad! listen to me, i was on the same boat as you, back in the day where lgbt wasn’t really “allowed” I had trouble on figuring out who in really was, there is times where I pretend to like a girl just to be “normal”..and times where I would hate myself for who I am” Richard spoked out in a comforting way as he speaks about his past, Logan feels bad for the poor guy, the two can relate on something that they had to face.
”but then I met him..Brendan was the reason why I started to be comfortable around who I am, was it bad that my parents gave me an ultimatum? Yes, but at least i had someone with me that I loved, I always do my best to be supportive to my boys back at my coaches so they can be better and learn how to love themselves!”
logan started to feel hope in himself, he doesn’t know if his parents are gonna be supportive but he want to take his time on discovering if they are, he felt glad on coming out to someone he could trust in their team.
“Thanks Richard for hearing me out!”
”and thank you so much for coming up to me about this, always love yourself man no matter what people say!” Richard gave him a motivation quote.
”thanks, I’m gonna be going now, take care!” Logan waves at him and walks off with a smile, richard smiled back and walked to his trailer, the two started their new friendship and nothing can go wrong..
Little did Logan know is that his parents would NEVER approve of this disgusting kind.
