Chapter Text
Arcee knew about Bumblebee's plan to save his friend from the dome. She knew he wanted her to keep it a secret from everyone else, so she did.
She knew how much the con meant to him. Even if she had her doubts it was reciprocated, she trusted Bee’s judgment, even if he had bad taste in friends.(excluding her)
She was at the reformed G.H.O.S.T. base, doing easy tasks while she passed the time, until she heard Bumblebee came back through the door.
“you're back! how'd it go-” she looked back at Bumblebee with excitement hoping that he was successful in his mission and that he'd be happier now. She stopped herself mid sentence and her optics widened when she saw the tears going down his face.
She stared at him for a moment in shock before she jogged over to him from across the room. She grabbed Bee’s servos and held them tightly. Bee was always a quiet crier, but whenever he did she was always there for him.
He didn't want to talk about it, she could tell from the way he didn't respond to her and just kept quiet, and that was ok. she wouldn't make him.
She let her arms wrap around him in a tight hug, embracing him. She felt his own arm wrap around her back. She will give him all the comfort he wants.
They stay like this for a while, their arms tightly wrapped around each other. One of her servos on the back of his helm while he silently cries, his grip on her tight. She wishes she could've saved him from this, she knew something was off about that decepticon. No matter how many times Bee just told her he would be ok.
She knew this con broke his spark. And now she knows she will never stop hunting him down. After a while Bee finally speaks up. His voice almost breaks but he was able to hold it together. Her spark aches for him.
“I will never trust another decepticon again.”
