   Summary

   How he can feel a ghostly embrace, a phantom laugh, and the words “hello, love” at different times of the day. Alex feels too much, and he wonders if it will ever stop. If he will wake up one day and not feel like the world has ended when he remembers why the other side of the bed is empty. If he will ever stop hoping, wishing, dreaming, for a miracle that might never happen. If it is even possible for him to stop hoping. To stop wanting. To stop loving. Alex wonders if he will ever stop feeling like his chest has been carved open. He has an imprint of Henry in every fiber of his being, and he does not think he will ever be free of it.

   OR,
   Henry remains in an unconscious state after a car accident, and Alex must learn how to continue living his life.
