"Lily, Lilypad, Lilyflower, Lils, Lilia, Evans, Evvie, Evo-" said James as he was running after her whilst she's been trying to walk as far as she could from himm
"James if you don't stop following me. I swear I'll hex you into oblivion." said Lily coming to a sudden stop and turning around annoyed.
"Dang Prongs. Better luck next time." said Sirius with an amused smile.
"Shut up, padfoot. Lily just think about it. It's fun. We can go there pretend to date. Hang out and then call it a day. What's the worst that can happen?"
"For the hundredth time. No."
"Why not?"
Lily looked at him like he'd grown an extra head.
"James my lovely best friend. I have way more ways to pass my time than pretending to crush on you- oh sorry to have a falling out for you just because you are bored."
"I'll buy you coffee every day until this is over." said James as he brought his hand out for Lily to shake.
"You will also buy me lunch." challenged Lily, skeptical.
"Now you're just - deal.."
Lily shook his hand.
"I don't know a therapist though." said Lily.
"My little brother is a therapist. I can book you there. This way it won't be as serious later on. We can tell him it was a joke. He won't care... He hardly cares about things.. It's concerning to be honest...Anyway, this way it won't affect anyone's life whatsoever. Nothing will change. You finish your month of joking and Regulus and you guys go back to your lives and never meet again." shrugged Sirius.
James and Lily looked at each other and shrugged nonchalantly, as they agreed.
"This will end badly." interrupted Remus.
"Always a downer, Rem." said Sirius as he shook his head.
