   Summary

   Phil’s throat is dry. He swallows, and it does nothing. He can’t move his fingers, and his mouth hurts. He can’t grind his teeth, it just makes this horrible sound that makes him shudder. But he needs to do something, needs to feel like he has at least something he can do about the dull, ongoing pain, so he brings a fist to his mouth and hits his teeth, rapping his knuckles on his teeth like he’s knocking on a heavy door.
