"The .likelihood of us dying on this mission increases with each second," Tech stresses, holding onto the seat while Phee pilots like a maniac. She chuckled a bit, making a particularly sharp turn to avoid the tie fighters.
"Calm down, brown eyes, these bucket heads have nothing on me. The Providence and I have gotten out of tougher scraps than this; do you know why?"
"Miracles!?"
"Close. I have my lucky charm," she says, pulling out a beaded necklace with a small shell.
His eyes widen in shock and panic. "You are not telling me that you're basing our success on not only this mission- BUT OUR SURVIVLE on a trinket!?!?"
"Hey, this little thing has gotten me out of a jam." she tells him, "Now make yourself useful and start shooting those hunks of metal down!!!"
Once they were in the clear, they landed on Pabu, Phe strutting down confidently and Tech looking worse for wear. "See, I told you, nothing to worry about."
"That was highly unorthodox; the fact they were were not captured is nothing short of-"
"We got out alive, didn't we? All because of my lucky charm."
