October, 27, XXXX
A wail can be heard from afar but not that far.

.
.
She takes a step on the leaves laying on the ground, trying to find where the wail came from
She was just crossing a rock bridge across the river vane when she hears murmuring in a secluded area.
It was a pond and there were a lot of lotuses, the feeling was eerie somehow.
She stopped in her tracks when she laid eyes on the being infront of her in the water. Was it human?.. Yes..? no..? Maybe..
The being had a human body on the upper half but the lower..? The lower was a fish's tail, She's heard of something like this before.. What was that term again?
"You're.....You're.. a Siren.. Aren't you..?" She says while being scared and mesmerized by the sight.
She then noticed the harpoon on its Tail, she takes a step closer but the being flinched on her movement.
"Stay... away.." He says.
He moves away from her before hitting a rock.
"Wait... i won't hurt you!"
She then takes a step onto the water, her boots becoming soaked.
But then she hears a sound approaching. She looks behind from where she went, the being went under water hiding under the Lilypads.
It was a knight from the luofu dynasty.
"You, you're Lieutenant Yanqing and Miss Yunli's apprentice. What are you up to?" The knight said
"Oh! uh... i was just looking at the.." she looks around. "I was looking at the lotuses! yeah.."
The knight looks at her suspiciously as she nervously fiddles with her fingers.
"Well.. have you seen anything odd around here?" The knight asks.
"Uhh... no?" She replies.
The knight turns around but glances at her before walking away. That was odd she thought. She then turns around to look at him as he pops up the water, she takes a step again, He hesitantly moves forward.
She glances around checking if someone's still around before crouching down making her clothes soak even more. She looks at the handle of the harpoon and onto his tail, then back at him
"..What's your name?" She asks.

He doesn't answer.
.
.
"Ok... My name's March."
She then looks back at his tail.
She touches the handle, he then flinches.
How am i gonna remove this??!? She thought.
"Just remove it. Please.." He suddenly says.
"Huh"
"It will hurt more if it stays like that." He follows.
She holds the handle nervously.
"Tell me if it hurts too much, ok..?"
He stays silent.
She pulls the handle slowly making him flinch again, she then gulps before fully pulling out the harpoon. An agonizing noise can be heard thereafter, the water turned into crimson red as it kept bleeding.
She quickly grabbed a bandage from her pouch and gently wrapped it around his tail. He was shaking.

This is awkward..
"So uh-" She got cutoff when someone called out her name.
"Coming!"
She looks at him.
"I have to go now i'll see you around"
Then she turns around to rush off to the voice leaving him there.

As she arrives she sees Yanqing and Yunli waiting for her.
"We heard a noise what happened back there?" Yanqing asks crossing his arms.
"Uhh i saw an insect...?" March nervously says.
Both Yunli and Yanqing sighs.
"And did you find where the wailing came from?" Yunli then questions.
Do i tell them about him?, she thought about it for awhile. She remembers his face when she tried to get close to him, what if he doesn't wanna be known?
"Not really..." March replies.
That took awhile to get out of her throat.
"That's kind of odd don't you think?" Yanqing then ponders.
"..ahahah... yeah.." She nervously agrees.
October, 31, XXXX
She woke up early the sun was just rising, wore her usual clothing then headed out. She bought one of her favorite treats a berrypheasant skewer!
She trails back to the pond looking for him, she stepped down onto the water she felt movement in the water until his head popped out of the water.
"It's you again! how is the wound now?" She asks him.
He moves his tail to let her see it. The bandage was already soaked its water what did you expect.
"Ah... i forgot that it can get soaked.."
"It's ok." He suddenly comments.
"It doesn't hurt anymore like yesterday" He adds.

.
She looks at his face for a long time admiring.
"You look beautiful.." She muttered.
"Did you say something..?" He tilts his head slightly.
"Oh erm... it was nothing!" She nervously says.
"Here have this!" She offers him one of the berrypheasant skewer.
She extends her arm towards him, he hesitantly takes the skewer. He glances at her then back at the skewer, his eyes lit up as he takes a bite savoring the taste he was eating it like a feral animal until he notices her staring again so he quickly composes himself.
"It tastes good.." He says silently.
"I'm glad you like it!" She gives him a warm smile.
She takes a bite of her own berrypheasant skewer.

Both of them finishes their skewers, she then says
"I have to go now, my masters will scold me if i'm late again..."
"I'll... I'll see you then."
"Heh.. see you around"
She then turns back then leaves.

.
She was practicing her stances, though her mind was wondering off elsewhere. She was just in her own world until a voice calls her out.
"March your doing the wrong stance.." Yunli points out.
"OH sorry about that !" She says.
"You seem to have something on your mind." Yunli comments.
"It's nothing.." She replies.
Master Yunli is already getting suspicious?!??! Should i tell her? it still seems risky..
November, 04, XXXX
"Hey"
She snaps out of her thoughts when she heard his voice.
"You've been in a daze for a long time." He says.
"Ah.. It's nothing really! I'm just tired!"
"huh.. Maybe you've been practicing too much?" He comments.
"Maybe.." She replies then having a thoughtful expression.
He swims around the pond while she spaces out. Sounds of approaching footsteps can then be heard, he submerges underwater once again as he does so.
It was the cloud knight from last time
"You.. You're here again, i often see you going here."
"I just... i like the view..." She nervously tries to cover up.
And it somehow works.

The cloud knight gives her a suspicious look before leaving once again.

phew..

November, 15, XXXX
It's just another day once again, though this time she was offered food, fish to be exact.
The taste was odd.. It wasn't like the fish she had tasted before.. After she finishes she quickly went to the pond.
But when she arrived, he wasn't there. She looked around for awhile, Under the water? Behind the rocks? Besides the lotuses?.. Not there either.
She thinks of other spots he could be in, she then comes to an insane theory.. What if.. What if that fish she ate earlier.. was.....

It can't be can it..?
.

.
She was deep in thought that she didn't notice him appearing from the water.
"Hey" He greets her.
"WAH-" She looks at him shocked.
"I got something.." He says then places a sakura flower over her ear.
.
She gets flustered by this
.
"Are you okay?" He asks.
"OH uh its nothing, thank you" she says then follows it with
"I almost forgot! how's your wound?"
"It doesn't hurt that much anymore."
A snowflake then falls on his nose, he looks up the sky.
"Winter is already starting.." He says.
"Won't you be cold if that time comes?"
"I can handle it." He replies as he looks back at her.

"I'll visit you every chance i get then if.. i weren't already doing that.."
.
.
He suddenly chuckled at her remark, her face lit up when she saw his smile for the first time. It felt like she was blessed by the hunt.
"I'll be waiting then." He gives her a warm smile.
At that moment her cheeks felt warm.
"I..I have to go now! see ya!"
She excused herself.
"See you aswell." He replied as he watches her walk away.
