Work Text:

“Pac, does Ramón have his costume?” Fit called across the house, picking up Richas, who he’d just changed into his costume, a round little pumpkin, fit with a matching stem hat. The toddler grabbed the hat off his head, throwing it onto the floor for the third time of the night, giggling.

Fit smiled, sighing as he reached down to pick it back up, deciding against putting it back on the boy’s head for now as he walked into the living room, where Ramón was running around excitedly.

The three year old stopped in front of Fit, practically bouncing up and down, “Dad! Dad! Have a jetpack!” he turned to show Fit what he meant, the back of his astronaut costume fitted with a jetpack, complete with felt flames coming out of the bottom.

Fit smiled, leaning down to set Richas on the floor, the two year old joining his brother in hopping around. He wasn’t wearing his prosthesis yet, so it was only a few seconds before he toppled over, deciding to crawl his way over to Pac, tugging on the pant leg of his vampire costume.

“Trick or treat!” he grinned widely, and Pac scooped him up.

“Not yet nenê, your dad has to put on his costume really quick and then it’s time to go trick or treating!”

The two kids cheered, and Fit smiled as he made his way into his bedroom. He pulled on the tattered shirt and pants, and then tugged on the paw-like-gloves that went about halfway up his arms, pulling the shirt sleeves down over them. When he finally got to the bottom of the costume bag, he pulled out a pair of fuzzy ears, and frowned. When Pac said werewolf costume, he’d been expecting a full face mask, not a headband with fuzzy ears.

He didn’t put it on at first, instead choosing to walk back out into the living room with them, sending a questioning look to Pac as his boyfriend helped Richas get his prosthesis on.

“I thought I’d have some sort of mask situation?”

Pac looked up, seeing the headband held in Fit’s hands, “Oh! Yeah, I got that instead because I’m sure it's hard to see in those masks,” he paused, holding back a grin, “And I didn’t want Richas to be scared of you,”

Fit raised an eyebrow, “Really?”

“Of course, Fit,” Pac giggled, “Why would I lie to you?”

Fit slowly put on the headband, still giving his boyfriend a suspicious look.

Pac finished helping Richas, then came over to Fit, holding what looked like some sort of pen in his hand.

“I’ll just draw on a little nose for you, and then you’ll be a perfect werewolf!”

Fit stood still as Pac used the eyeliner to draw a black circle onto Fit’s nose, smudging the edges with his fingers. Before he could step back, Fit leaned forward and planted a soft kiss onto Pac’s lips, making the other man smile as he pulled away.

He laughed as he brought his hand up to wipe at Fit’s mouth, “You got my fake blood on you, everyone will know you were kissing a vampire Fit.”

Fit smiled as well, giving Pac another peck, this time trying a little harder to avoid the fake blood on the side of his mouth, “Good,” he turned back to the kids, who were showing off their candy buckets to each other and clapped his hands, “Who’s ready to go trick or treating?”

The two toddlers jumped up excitedly, and scurried over to the door. Once they were outside and had their candy bucket set out, Ramón took Pac’s hand, while Fit took Richas’, and the four made their way out onto the street.
