Summary
The moon creeps into her vision. She just so happens to be in their rickety garden, covered in fresh dirt, when a feeling befalls on her. Perhaps it was the weather. Or maybe it was the grapefruit skies, bloody like the memories of who they once were, dragging little streaks of red that plummet into the distant woods.
She looks for him, as she does when such emotions arise, because she can’t bear to face them alone.
