Hades and Maleficent were sitting on the roof of one of the buildings at Merlin Academy. The couple had nothing better to do so they decided to build up and look up at the stars.
Hades turned his head to look at Maleficent. “I bet I could fit the whole world in the palms of my hands.”
Maleficent snorted at his bet, not believing a single word. Obviously she knows he’s powerful but not enough to shrink down the whole entire world and held in his hands. She turned to look at him with a raised eyebrow, rolling her eyes and said, “Yeah, right.”
“You don’t believe me?” Hades asked, fake hurt, putting a hand over his heart.
“Nope,” she said, making sure to pop the p.
“Fine, then,” Hades said. He leaned into her personal space and cupped her face in his hands. “Proved you wrong.”
Maleficent couldn’t believe how incredibly corny that was but it left her blushing. “Get off of me, I have a reputation.”
Hades let go of her face (Maleficent was a bit saddened as she liked the feel of his hands on her face but she would deny it if you ask her that) and snorted. “Who’s going to see us? Everyone is sleeping.”
“You never know,” Maleficent defends her statement.
“Uh-huh,” he looks at her unconvinced.
“Whatever,” she said, rolling her eyes. “And just because of that, I’m not allowing you to sleep in my bed.”
“Moonlight,” Hades dragged on.
The two continued to go back and forth till they got tired and headed back to their respective dorms.
Hades was close to falling deep into slumber when he felt a cold, tiny body slip into his bed and cuddled up against him. He instantly knew that it’s Maleficent.
“Not a single word,” Maleficent growled.
Hades softly chuckled and said, “Goodnight my whole world.”
The god and fae then fell asleep.
