“C’mon Reg,” Barty whines, practically putting all of this weight on Regulus where his arm is thrown over the shorter’s shoulder, “We’re all going, it’s going to be fun.”
Evan hums, “Besides, what better way to spend your Halloween?”
“I could spend my Halloween curled up on the couch watching Nightmare Before Christmas with tea and my sketchbook, I think that is a perfectly viable Halloween activity.”
“But it’s not fun.” Barty whines once again.
“James will be there. I heard that they’re wearing a skirt this year, too.”
“And how do you know that?” Regulus asks, his interest successfully peaked.
Pandora seems to know it, they make a whole show of being nonchalant about it, dropping the clothes in their hands on their twin’s lap, “They’re doing a group costume, Lily was telling me that she’s going as Daphne and they’re going as Velma because Sirius dared them to.”
And Regulus holds out for longer than he thought he would, and it seems the same thought passes through Pandora, before he finally groans, “An hour.”

The group convinces Regulus to go to a Halloween party, where he happens to run into James... James who's wearing a skirt.
