Summary
Alex Danvers meets soccer star Maggie Sawyer at a moment of her life when she wasn’t expecting to fall head over heels for anyone.

After calling off her engagement, Alex finds herself plunged into heartbreak and disappointment, as well as completely devoted to her job and career. One night, however, her best friend Lucy, drags her to a party hosted by the NC Supers, National City’s glorious soccer team. She expects to hang out with Lucy’s girlfriend and a bunch of other girls Alex is sure Lucy will try to set her up with, but what Alex doesn’t expect is to meet the love of her life at that party.
