"Do you know why the passage of time doesn't bother me?" Blanc offers. "Or at least why it doesn't dill my pickle in quite the same way as it does yours?"
Phillip mutters something else about Blanc’s pickle, which Blanc ignores for the sake of their conversation.
“To me, time is a gift,” Blanc explains, “because everyday I get to wake up and spend another day with you.”
