Tuesday, September 1st

Nine months have elapsed since the disappearance of Emilie Agreste, the wife of the famous fashion designer Gabriel Agreste. Gabriel has yet to make a public appearance since the death of his wife.

Today, he is once again locked up in his atelier, looking at the portrait of his wife.

“Emilie… My muse… I cannot wait any longer.” After staring at the portrait for a while, he gently places it aside in order to open the safe where he keeps three of his most important possessions. “One of you took the life of my wife, which has made me hesitant to ever try you again. However, I cannot fear any longer, since I cannot wait any longer. You, cursed jewel, I know you are the one that can help me get my wish.” While putting the combination to open the elevator to his secret lair, he also removes his tie in order to pin the brooch onto his shirt.

“It has been a while, Master.” Some strange purple-colored little floating creature materializes in front of Gabriel as he touches and begins putting on the jewel.

“Nooroo, was it?” Gabriel goes onto the elevator, going down onto the crypt as he speaks with the creature.

“That’s right, Master. I’m Nooroo, the kwami that inhabits the Butterfly Miraculous.”

“Ah, yes… Miraculous, that was their name. You can give me a superpower, is that correct?”

“Yes, Master. All of the Miraculous have a superpower that when yielded must be used for the greater good. I can bestow upon you the power of Transmission, that allows you to peek into a person's heart and give them the ability that they most desire. Is it a wonderful ability, isn’t it?” [I have nerfed the Butterfly Miraculous considerably. It can no longer just give any power the user wants, when the butterfly enters the object of the victim, they transmit their desires into the butterfly, and get an appearance and powers they desire. These rules only apply to Kamikotization, Akumatization works a little different than that.]

“Yes, Nooroo, it sounds wonderful… I can use it on myself, right?”

“That's right, Master” Finally, Gabriel Agreste stops in front of a strange pod, which Nooroo looks at very curiously.

“Nooroo, this is Emilie. She once was my wife, my muse… But she used that other Miraculous, the Peacock one, and got into this state. Answer me, Nooroo. If I use your power, is this what awaits me, too!?” Gabriel looks very hatefully at the kwami. It is very clear he is blaming their species for the death of their wife.

“You mean… Duusu… I’m sorry, Master. The Peacock Miraculous was… Broken, when she used it. It was broken many years ago, and it’s still broken to this day. That’s why your wife got sick, and died.”

“She is not dead!” Suddenly, Gabriel roared at Nooroo, making him instantly stop. It takes a few seconds for him to regain his composure. “Ehem. Can I trust you, Nooroo? I won’t die by using you?”

“As your kwami, I’m obligated to do everything you order me, Master. I couldn’t lie to you, I swear.”

“So, the ability that I most desire… The answer is obvious, isn’t it?”

“Obvious? Wait, Master!” 

“Silence, Nooroo! If I still remember this correctly… Nooroo, Metamorphosis!” Utilizing the power of the Butterfly Miraculous, Gabriel completely transforms into Hesperia. [Betterfly name in the original french, I thought it sounded better and reflected more this situation, it won’t really matter the name he chooses though]

“It worked.” Hesperia firmly grasps his cane with both hands, charging some kind of magic onto the lid on top, opening it after some seconds to reveal a magic white butterfly. “Kamiko! Bring hope into my heart!” The butterfly leans onto Hesperia, finally landing and fusing with the Miraculous. After the process is done, Hesperia changes form once again, into Orpheus.

“Yes… I sense it, I finally have the power I desired! The power to bring people back to life!” Excited to fulfill his dream, Orpheus opens Emilie pod, looking at her with melancholy for one last time, before gently touching her hand. “Come back to me, Emilie…” As if it is some kind of magic incantation, Orpheus magic seems to activate, as Emilie begins breathing once again, gently seeming as if she is regaining consciousness. “I don’t need this power anymore.” Orpheus renounces his power, changing into Hesperia. “Nooroo, Reverse Metamorphosis!” And from then, Hesperia changes again into Gabriel Agreste, just in time to see his wife open her eyes again.

“Hello, Gabriel. It seems you did it.” In a voice devoid of any emotion, Emilie acknowledges Gabriel's accomplishment without any hint of gratitude.

“What…? Nooroo, what happened to her!?” Obviously something is wrong with Emilie, so Gabriel turns to look at Nooroo, very angry about the state of his wife.

“I tried to warn you, Master… The Miraculous may be pretty powerful, but there’s things that they cannot do. A soul that has been lost is impossible to be brought back with the Butterfly Miraculous. You only made the functions of her brain and body function normally again, but the emotions that a soul gives are not in there.”

“I see. I’m missing my soul, then. You failed, then, Gabriel.” Even saying such a hurtful thing, there’s not a hint of emotion. She probably didn’t meant to say such a thing to her spouse, but the lack of feelings devoir her of the capacity to mind her words.

“No! I didn’t… Nooroo! You said that the Butterfly Miraculous cannot bring a soul back, is there any Miraculous that can!?”

“The Peacock Miraculous can create souls, but it’s broken… Besides, I don't think that's what you want. There’s no Miraculous that can bring a soul back by itself, however… There are two Miraculous more powerful than the others; the earrings of the Ladybug, which provide the power of creation; and the ring of the Black Cat, which grants the power of destruction. According to legend, whoever controls both these jewels at the same time, will achieve absolute power.”

“I want that absolute power, Nooroo. I must have those Miraculous!”

“But nobody knows where these Miraculous are!”

“It seems like he has a point, Gabriel.” Seeing the discussion between the two, Emilie intervened.

“It doesn’t matter, I’ll look around the world if I need to! I found you after all, Nooroo.”

“You can’t act like that anymore, Gabriel. You are now a father, you shouldn’t let Adrien unattended to go on an impossible quest of finding two magical jewels who nobody knows where they are.” It was such an obvious thing that should have made her angry with her husband for not considering it, however, she merely stated that as an opinion. But it was enough to break Gabriel's confidence. After a few seconds, he turns around at Emilie, looking at her with a sad expression.

“But what about you, Emilie? I need you back!”

“Your son needs you. You have to get over me, Gabriel. Don’t chase such an impossible dream, look where it even got you.”

“You’re right, Emilie… I know you are… Nooroo, I renounce you.” Nooroo gets pushed back into the Miraculous, which Gabriel removes from his shirt, starting to walk away from the crypt.

“Wait, Gabriel… Are you not gonna turn me back?” Gabriels stops for a second, but doesn’t even turn back to look at Emilie, continuing to walk away. He knows she is probably suffering in that state, however… If he destroyed the magic somehow, she’ll be dead again. He’ll be the one to kill her this time, more directly than the last time.

“If I had used the Peacock Miraculous that time…” Thinks Gabriel, as he leaves.

After Wang Fu greats his client goodbye, a little green creature floats to his side.

“Master, Master! The Butterfly Miraculous, I feel its aura.” Wayzz says to Fu, feeling very uneasy.

“I thought it had been lost forever! For it to be here in Paris, such a coincidence…”

“Should we go retrieve it?”

“But you do not know where it is, right?”

“Well, no…”

“If an opportunity arises, I’ll talk with its owner. But as long as it’s used for good, it wouldn't be necessary to take it.”

“As you say, Master.”

In a famous bakery of Paris, a girl with dark hair is sleeping soundly in her bed while the ringing of a phone fills the room.

“Marinette! Your alarm's been going off for fifteen minutes! You're going to be late for your first day back at school!” From the floor below, the girl's mom advises her daughter to wake up.

“Got it, Mom!” Having heard her mom, she wakes up instantly and crawls out from her bed. “Coming!” Marinette walks down stairs, sitting down on the breakfast table after greeting her mom . “I bet you anything Chloé will be in my class again.” Marinette starts preparing her breakfast with the milk and cereal on the table.

“Four years in a row, is that possible?” Sabine says while cooking.

“Definitely. Lucky me!” Says Marinette sarcastically.

“Don't say that! It's the start of a new year - I'm sure everything will be just fine!” Sabine tries to reassure her daughter, to which Marinette smiles and nods, setting down the cereal. Several things get knocked over, spilling and falling to the floor. Marinette groans, but her mother comforts her while starting to clean.

In the first floor, where the bakery is located, Tom sings La Marseillaise as he works, when Marinette approaches him dressed to school, he gives her a box of Macarons.

“Dad, these are so awesome!”

“Glad you like them.”

“Thank you Dad, my class will love them! You're the best!” Tom pats Marinette's head as she speaks.

“We're the best, the logo you drew is also amazing.” Tom shows her a notebook with the Bakery logo they requested of her. Seeing that Marinette hugs Tom, dropping the box. He catches it on his foot and tosses it up in the air, catching it before handing it to her. Marinette laughs a little.

“Thanks.” Sabine hands Marinette her school bag and Marinette kisses her cheek. Tom leans down and Marinette kisses his cheek as well before rushing towards the door. “See you later!” Marinette rushes to school, fortunately for her, nothing gets in her way and the school is just on the other side of the road of the bakery.

At Collège Françoise Dupont. Marinette runs through the open door past the janitor and rushes to her classroom. After all, she didn't arrive so late. The teacher enters a little later, reading her table and looking at the students.

“Nino, Why don't you have a seat in the front row this year?” The teacher Caline looks at a student sitting on the back, listening to music with headphones on. Probably concerned about his notes, she tells him to sit in the front. A blonde girl enters after this, going straight to Marinette's seat.

“Marinette Dupain-Cheng.” As she talks, she slams the table.

“Ugh. Here we go again.”

“That's my seat.”

“But Chloé, this has always been my seat.”

“Not anymore! New school, new year, new seats!” A ginger girl seats on Marinette’s right, pressuring her to leave.

“So why don't you just go and sit beside that new girl over there?” She points at a seat more on the front, where a brown haired girl looks back with defiant eyes.

“But…” Marinette isn't so sure about that, so she tries to argue with Chloé.

“Listen. Adrien's arriving today, and since that's going to be his seat, this is going to be my seat. Get it?”

“Who’s Adrien?” Chloé and Sabrina laugh at her.

“Can you believe she doesn't know who Adrien is? What rock have you been living under?” Chloé comments at Sabrina.

“He's only a famous model.”

“Oh, you mean Gabriel Agreste’s son? He's coming to this school!?” Marinette looks a little panicked from knowing this.

“Yeah, and I am his best friend. He adores me, so don't get any funny ideas. Go on, move!”

“Hey! Who elected you Queen of Seats?” The new girl appears behind Chloé, being angry at her way of talking.

“Oh, Look Sabrina! We've got a little do-gooder in our class this year. What are you gonna do, super newbie? Shoot beams at me with your glasses?”

“Wouldn't you like to know. Hey, teacher! Are you gonna allow this?”

“It's just a seat, Alya. Marinette, let her have it.” Miss Bustier doesn't seem to want to contradict Chloé, so she just encourages Marinette and Alya to give up. Groaning angrily, Alya walks away and grabs Marinette by the hand . “Come on.” Marinette trips and falls from the pull, spilling some of the macarons which she quickly begins picking up while Chloé, Sabrina and Kim laugh.

“Sorry, sorry, sorry…”

“So, does everyone have a seat now?” The teacher asks the whole class.

Seeing Marinette is a bit disappointed, Aly tries to encourage her. “Chillax, girl. No biggie.”

“I so wish I can handle Chloé the way you do. Socqueline used to do it for me before, but she has transferred schools this year.”

“I’m sorry about that. But hey, look” Alya shows Marinette a picture of a comic book on her phone. “This is Majestia. She says all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing.” After this, she points at Chloé. “Well, that girl over there is evil.” She brings Marinette closer to her. “And we are the good people. We can't let her get away with it. Although we failed this time…” [Majestia is here just a fictional character, and New York is not filled with people who have superpowers for no reason.]

“Well, that's easier said than done. She likes to make my life miserable.”

“That's cause you let her, girl! You just need more confidence!” Smiling a little, Marinette grabs a macaron from the box to offer Alya.

“Marinette.”

“Alya.” After that, they both eat a macaron.

“For those of you who don't yet know me, I'm Miss Bustier. I'll be your teacher this year.” The teacher writes her name on the board and starts the lecture.

“Ugh, he should have been here by now.” Chloé looks a little worried because Adrien hasn't arrived yet.

Outside the school. A blonde boy is about to enter the school, but a car stops in front of it.

“Adrien, please reconsider! You know your father wouldn't approve of this!” A woman with black hair gets out of the car, accompanied by a big muscular man.

“I just wanna go to school like everybody else. What's so wrong with that?” Nathalie and Gorilla look at Adrien both angry and disappointed. Their looks make Adrien reconsider and sigh. “Please don't tell my father about all this.” They get in the car and leave for the Agreste Mansion. Once they arrive, Gabriel seems to be waiting in the entrance.

“Father, I… I want to go to school! I'm always stuck in here by myself. Why can't I go out and make friends just like everybody else?”

“Not now, Adrien. I won’t be having this discussion right now.” His father look very distressed, not even looking at Adrien on his eyes.

“Mr. Agreste, don't worry, I'll start tutoring Adrien right now.”

“No!” Gabriel suddenly screams, making both Adrien and Nathalie flinch. “I mean, not now. I need to talk to Nathalie in my office.”

“Of course, sir. Adrien, go do your assignment, we'll start your lesson in a minute.” Nathalie accompanies Gabriel to his atelier, leaving Adrien and Gorilla alone. Gorilla looks at Adrien, waiting for him to go to the dinner table to do his homework.

“Uhm… I left my assignment in my room, could you go get it for me, Gorilla?” Adrien says very awkwardly, to which Gorilla simply nods and goes upstairs to look for it. After being left alone, worried by his behavior, Adrien gets closer to his father's atelier, and opens the door gently in order to hear.

“I turned my wife into a zombie, Nathalie!”

“It was not your fault, Gabriel. You didn't know that could happen.”

“Yet… She wished for peace, and I couldn't give her even that.”

“I understand how hard it may be, Gabriel.”

“Thanks, Nathalie… But I can't leave her like that. I need to find the Miraculous of the Ladybug and the Cat! With the absolute power, I can revive her! I'm sure I can!”

“But how do you plan to locate them? They could be in any part of the world right now, they may or may not be even in someone's hands.”

“Nathalie, do you sincerely wish to help me?” Gabriel says as he opens the safe again.

“Yes, I do.”

“This Miraculous can give the power the user most desires. Transmit your wishes into it, Nathalie. Tell him you want the power to find those Miraculous.” As he says this, Gabriel puts the brooch on again, making Nooroo appear.

“I want to help Gabriel Agreste. I want the power to find the Ladybug and the Cat Miraculous.”

“Nooroo, Metamorphosis!” Gabriel transforms into Hesperia once again, creating a Kumiko with his cane. The Kamiko flies towards Nathalie, and enters her tablet. “Hello, Nathalie. I am Hesperia. I can give you the power your heart desires most, will you help me in my cause and bring hope to my heart?”

“Yes, Hesperia.” The Kamikotization is complete, and Nathalie turns into Safari. Safari unlocks her tablet, and enters the map. “Marks should appear in the location of the Miraculous.” However, after a good time of looking around the globe with the map, there isn't a single mark. “This doesn't seem to be working, Gabriel.”

“This is impossible! Why does the power fail now!?” Hesperia undoes the Kamikotization, making Nathalie a little disoriented. “Nooroo, Reverse Metamorphosis!” Hesperia also undoes his own transformation in order to question Nooroo. “Nooroo! Did the power fail!? Why aren't the Miraculous showing up!?”

“There could be a number of reasons, Master… The Miracle Box has a spell to protect its contents from being tracked by magic. Or even if they are active, in camouflage mode the Miraculous also have a similar magic. You can only use a power like that if they are active and in use.”

“This Miraculous is useless! It doesn't help at all!”

“I'm so sorry, Master…”

“Gabriel, I…”

“Not now, Nathalie. Go tutor Adrien.”

“Yes, sir.” As Nathalie walks towards the door, Gabriel inputs the combination to open the elevator. After seeing it, Adrien begins running to the dining room. “Did I leave the door open?”

The school alarm rings, and the students start leaving the classroom for now. As the alarm sounds, a boy with a red jacket passes a note to a black shirt boy.

“Those of you who have P.E., Mr. D'Argencourt is expecting you at the stadium. The rest of you can head over to the library.” Miss Bustier says as the class’s over.

“Kim!” The boy with a black shirt screams a name very loudly, preparing to punch the other boy who gave him the note.

“Ivan, what is going on?” The teacher asks, worried about his behavior.

“It's Kim! I'm so gonna get…”

“Ivan, you can’t go around hitting other students! Go to the principal's office!” Kim rumbles the paper note on his hand and growls angrily while some students (Chloe, Kim and Sabrina) laugh at him.

“Miss Bustier, wait!” Marinette gets up from her seat, approaching Ivan. She gently takes his hand and opens it to take the note, showing it to Miss Bustier. “Ivan was angry because Kim wrote this mean note to him!”

“Oh, I see. However, Ivan, you should learn to control your anger better. I’ll take you both to the principal’s office to talk about this, come on.” Bustier walks out of the room, expecting Ivan and Kim to follow her.

“Hey! What gives, Marinette? You’re still angry about the spider thing? Well, thanks to you I’m going to lose P.E. now.” Kim gets up and follows Miss Bustier, a little annoyed.

“Thanks, Marinette…” Ivan smiles a little to Marinette before following Bustier.

“Look at you, already following Majestia’s advice, eh?” Alya approaches Marinette, surrounding her neck with her arm.

“Haha, yeah… I guess it’s easier when it’s to defend others, right?” Marinette laughs a bit while looking at Alya.

“Yeah, totally! Come on, let’s get going.” The two of them start walking to the library.

After some minutes there, Alya and Marinette stop studying full-time to chat a little. It is at that time that Chloé gets behind them.

“Hey, Marinette. I saw that little show you did in class. Are you angry because he rejected you?” Sabrina provides support to the bullying by laughing at Chloé's joke. Marinette looks a little anguished, because that’s a thing from her past that she rather forget, not wanting Alya to know about it.

“What’s up with your minion? Do you really need to force someone to laugh at your jokes to feel good about them?” Not intimidated by her, Alya gives Chloé a taste of her own medicine.

“Listen here, new girl. I’m going to give you a pass because this is your first day, but my father is the mayor of Paris. If you really want to get onto my nerves, I’ll get you expelled right away. Ask Marinette if you don’t trust me, I’m sure she’ll like to tell you all about her other rebellious friend.”

“She’s right, Alya… You shouldn’t risk getting expelled just for me.”

“So you’re going to call daddy because you don’t have an answer? Okay, okay, I get it. You’re right, Marinette, she’s not worth the risk of getting expelled.” By her comment, Sabrina gasps audibly, and Chloé looks pissed.

“Ridiculous! You girls are totally ridiculous!” Chloé snaps her fingers and begins walking away from them with Sabrina.

“Thanks again, Alya…”

“It’s nothing, girl! You have to step your game, she’s really just a daddy rich girl, it seems easy to keep her in check.”

“I think you make it sound easy!” The two of them laugh before continuing studying.

In the Agreste Mansion, Nathalie helps Adrien study.

“Who was the first president of the 5th French Republic?” Nathalie asks a question for Adrien to answer.

“Everyone thinks it was de Gaulle, but it was actually René Coty before the first elections.”

“Excellent, Adrien.” Gabriel Agreste enters the room, looking at Nathalie and Adrien.

“Give me a minute, would you, Nathalie?”

“Yes sir.” Nathalia walks away from the table while Gabriel closes distance.

“About you going to school…”

“Father please! I've had enough of being shut up at home. I want to meet people and make friends! Go to a normal school like everyone else!”

“I think you’re right, Adrien.” Both Adrien and Nathalie look surprised at Gabriel's words. “I think this is what your mother would want. Having you imprisoned here… It may have been a mistake, sorry for being overly protective. Starting tomorrow, Gorilla will be taking and picking you from school. Nathalie has offered to organize you a new schedule. You'll be continuing your music, Chinese, and fencing classes and your photoshoots.”

“Thank you, Nathalie. Thank you, Father!” Adrien gets up to give Nathalie a hug, and then his father.

“Don’t get too excited, you still have to finish your lessons today.”

“I will, Father!”

After finishing his lessons, Adrien starts to look at his father’s atelier. All of the things he saw earlier… He needs to verify if they were truly real. After seeing the chance to enter when his father goes away, he rushes inside. Nervously, he opens the safe behind the painting of his mother, encountering a book and two strange jewels. He doesn’t really care much about the book or the strange blue one, but he takes the butterfly brooch and pins it to his shirt, which makes Nooroo appear again.

“Oh, a new Master.” Nooroo begins inspecting Adrien, very interested in seeing his new Master.

“Wow… It was all real…” Very shocked, Adrien doesn’t really know what to say, and begins stuttering a lot. “What are you?”

“I’m Nooroo, the kwami that inhabits the Butterfly Miraculous.”

“Butterfly Miraculous? What’s a Miraculous?”

“Many centuries ago, magic jewels bestowing extraordinary powers were created. These were… the Miraculous. Throughout history, heroes have used these jewels for the good of the human race. The one you’re holding now is the Butterfly Miraculous, which has the power of Transmission, that allows you to peek into a person's heart and give them the ability that they most desire. Is it a wonderful ability, isn’t it?”

“Wow, that’s…” Adrien hears some chatting in front of the room’s door. Rapidly, he inputs the combination and goes down with the elevator.

“Master, are you perhaps related to my previous holder?”

“You mean my father? Yeah, I’m his son, Adrien.”

“Oh… I see, then, perhaps… I advise you don’t really do this, you shouldn’t see what’s down here.”

“I already know, Nooroo…” The elevator stops, and Adrien arrives at the crypt. He walks the long corridor, seeing his mother sit at a fancy table.

“Oh, so it’s you, Adrien.” When he hears her voice, Adrien completely stops. For a second, he was starting to cry just for the sight of her alone, however, after hearing her voice… Shock and anger start harboring inside of him.

“This is what my father did? What is this, Nooroo?” Adrien tries to calm down and asks Nooroo to assess the situation.

“My previous holder wanted to revive her with the power of the Miraculous, however, even them have a limit to their powers, and can’t bring a lost soul back. Luckily, a soul isn’t all of a person, so… She is still your mother, Master! She just… Doesn’t have any emotions…” Nooroo tries to reassure Adrien, but there really is no reassurement upon seeing your mother like this, is there?

“That’s right, Adrien… I’m still your mother, aren’t I? I heard you wanted to go to school, so I told your father that you deserve it.”

“But you… You didn’t want me to go before, Mother…”

“I was worried. You are special to us, so we were worried about the danger of the outside world.” Adrien stays silent. He thought his mother was just missing, but now it seems like she died and his father kept her all the way hiding under their house to revive her using some magical jewel. But that’s not the only reason. This woman may look like her, but without emotions, she is nothing like the mother Adrien remembers. “By the way, Adrien… Since I helped you go to school, can I ask you a favor?”

“A favor? Sure, mother…” Even saying that, he is not so sure about that, but can he really turn down a favor from his mother?

“I want to rest in peace.”

“What?” Adrien starts sweating nervously. He had a vague idea of what she may be saying, but he doesn't want it to be true.

“Your father will not do it even if I asked, but you… You’re different, I know you will. I want to go back to how I was before, Adrien.” Unaware of how this will affect the mental state of his own son, Emilie simply asks for a thing like that as if it’s simply a favor.

“Mother, I… I can’t do that!” Adrien screams, knowing very well that he can’t really disobey her. However, he needs to try. He needs her to nullify that command.

“Yes you can, Adrien… Please. I’m asking you. If I can’t have a soul, I prefer being dead. Please, Adrien, make me rest in peace.” For just a few seconds that feels like an eternity, an unpleasant silence fills the room, before Adrien gives an answer. “Okay, Mother… If it is what you want, I’ll make you rest in peace, don’t worry.” As Adrien pronounces those words, the episode ends with a zoom to Emilie's hand, focusing on the ring on her finger.

“Master, are you sure about this?”

“I can't say no to my Mother, Nooroo. She must be in so much pain. I just need to get the power to nullify the magic my father used, it will be easy.”

“My Miraculous can only give you the power you truly desire. If you aren't really sure about this, you won't get what you want.”

“This is what I want! I'll… Help my mother. Nooroo, Metamorphosis!” Adrien activates the transformation, which gives him a very fancy attire that while looks like something a model like him would wear, even showing his hair. Basically it looks more like Cat Walker than Chat Noir or even Hawk Moth. “What do you think, Mother?” 

“It looks straight from one of your father's designs.” Adrien smiles a little thanks to that commentary, and holds the cane with both hands, creating a magic butterfly. “Come to me, butterfly! Help me make my Mother's dream true!” The Kamiko enters the Butterfly Miraculous, however, after a few seconds inside of it, the Butterfly leaves the jewel without anything happening. “What? What are you doing, you dumb butterfly!? Agh… Let me try that again.” Adrien once again holds the cane firmly, closing his eyes. This time however, some kind of dark energy flows through Adrien's hands, and a purple butterfly leaves the cane. When Adrien opens his eyes, he looks at the new butterfly scared. “What is that? Nooroo, Reverse Metamorphosis!” Scared of that unexpected type of butterfly, Adrien detransforms. “Nooroo, why's that butterfly different?”

“Oh, no! Master, that's an Akuma!” Nooroo looks very distressed at seeing that.

“An Akuma?”

“The white ones are called Kamikos, while those purple ones are Akumas. If you try creating a Kamiko with bad intentions or feelings, they will turn into an Akuma.”

“Well, of course I was angry, the Kamiko didn't do anything!”

“It didn't do… Anything? I wasn't expecting for you to really get the power you wanted, however… If it didn't give you anything, that means you don't have any desire, master…” Nooroo begins talking more quietly as he reaches the end of his sentence.

“But of course I have desires! I… I desire to help my mom! This is nonsense, it's your Kamiko that are broken! Perhaps the Akuma will…”

“The Akuma doesn't work like the Kumiko, Master. Instead of transmitting the deepest desire of the user, they focus on negative thoughts, because they were created with bad things in mind. They focus on feelings like anger, revenge, sadness, and give the victim a power to overcome them and take care of the source of those feelings. They are bad, Master! You shouldn't do them anymore!” [I don’t like the concept of the Miraculous having a secret incantation that allows them to be used to evil. They were created for good, that doesn’t make sense in any way. So here, you transform normally and to do evil you just need the intention to do so.]

“So I can't get the power I want from either of them?”

“I’m sorry I wasn't helpful, Master.”

“Don't worry, Nooroo, you were helpful. If I can't give myself the desire to wish magic away, I'll just have to create someone who has it!”

“What do you mean, Master?”

“I'll use the Akumas to cause chaos in the city! If I do, someone will surely become the perfect recipient for the magic-eradicating power.”

“No! Master, you can't do that! The Miraculous were created for good, not for evil!” Nooroo gets closer to Adrien, trying to convince him to stop.

“Shut up!” Nooroo suddenly stops talking, and Adrien starts walking in the elevator direction. “Mom… It may take a while, but I'll definitely help you. I promise.”

“I'll be waiting, my son.”

“Nooroo, go see if the coast is clear. My father will surely stop me if he knows what I'm doing.”

“Okay, Master…”

At Fu's massage shop. Wayzz senses something wrong and quickly goes to search for Fu.

“Master, Master!”

“What happened now, Wayzz?”

“I felt the Butterfly Miraculous aura again. But now, it was a negative aura. It seems like it may have gotten into the wrong hands after all!”

“Oh no… We need to find Nooroo and his Miraculous as soon as possible. If it has gotten into the wrong hands, there's no telling what evil will come upon the world!” Fu shows his Miraculous. “Time to transform! Wayzz…” Master Fu doubles over in pain before he can finish the incantation.

“Please, Master. Be reasonable. You are–”

“Still young! I'm only 186. But you're right, Wayzz. I can no longer do it alone.” Fu begins walking in the direction of his gramophone. “We'll need some help.” He opens the gramophone, revealing the Miracle box .

“Are you sure about that, Master? The last time you gave a Miraculous you lost it.”

“I may have lost the Rabbit Miraculous, but I didn’t fail that time, did I?”

“No, certainly not, Master.” Fu removed the earrings and the ring from the Miracle box, and now put them into a smaller wooden box. After that, he goes out.

In the middle of the street, some time after that. Fu's slowly walking through a crossroad that's just about to hit red again. Luckily, a young girl arrives running to help him get to the other side.

“Thank you, young lady. What's your name?”

“Me? I'm Cerise Bianca, Sir.” The short haired girl smiles at Fu very sweetly.

“Call me Fu, young lady. Say, are you busy right now?”

“Oh, I was supposed to go help my class with a recycling project we've been doing, but I can arrive a little late, they'll understand.”

“Oh wow, there's not many younglings these days that worry about the environment. The thing is, I'm going to the hospital to do a medical checkup. Can you help me reach there safely, my dear?”

“But of course, Mister Fu! Helping others is always a pleasure.” Cerise slowly guides Fu to the hospital he indicates, taking care for him not to fall or get injured in any way. As they almost reach their destination, Fu looks very happy by her treatment.

“Thank you, young lady. You're just like a superhero.”

“Oh, come on, Mister Fu. Everyone could have done what I did.”

“And yet it was only you that did it. At heart, I believe that's the most important thing as a hero, it's not about doing impressive things, but about doing what should be done.”

“Wow… That's lovely, Mister Fu, and so correct! That's very similar to what I keep telling my classmates. You know, I'm the class rep, so I'm always suggesting we do helpful activities like cleaning parks or beaches, or go help at the asylum.”

“Yes, you're such a good girl, Cesire. I bet you even do some of those activities alone, correct?”

“Thank you, Mister Fu, you're so kind. Of course I do! Sometimes I just don’t want to burden my classmates with the amount of charity that I like to do, so I just go alone.”

“Ah, it seems we're here. Thank you, this was such a lovely talk, young lady”

“Yes, it was a pleasure meeting you, Mister Fu!” Cesire brings out her phone, taking a selfie with Fu.

“I have a Massage place close to where you find me, you should come there some of these days, I'll give you one.”

“Don't worry about that, Mister Fu, I don't really need any gratitude.”

“Okay, okay. But you should still come see me.”

“Sure! I'll see if I have some time on the weekend after teaching at the orphanage.” Cesire waves her hand, and goes away from Fu.

“I think I already found one, Wayzz.”

“Are you sure, Master? She seemed a little… Braggy.”

“Don't be silly, Wayzz, she was just passionate.”

“Besides, isn't she a teenager? Shouldn't we recruit adults?”

“Adults are deceitful, Wayzz. There's no telling which one's have pure intentions or not. It may take a little more time, but I prefer taking some teenagers and training them. Besides, I really don't think I could beat an adult if they ever go rogue.”

“If you say so, Master. What about the other holder? You said before you had an idea.”

“And I have, Wayzz. I know the perfect girl to receive a Miraculous, but we'll go see her tomorrow.” Fu goes away without even entering the hospital.

In the distance, Cesire looks at her phone while angry

“Just a free massage, really? These old men really don't have anything on them these days. Oh, well, I got this picture to show in class now.” Cesire smiles maliciously, walking away from the scene.

Wednesday, September 2rd

In the Bakery of Tom and Sabine. Master Fu enters and goes to the counter.

“Good morning, Fu. Your order is ready.” Sabine starts putting various bags full of different types of bread. “Why do you even need that many of them?”

“Good morning, Sabine. I’m planning on throwing a party for my most loyal clients, you’re also invited, of course.”

“I’ll be waiting, then” Fu tries grabbing all the bags by himself and slowly going out of the shop. Marinette gets down from the top floor, ready to go to school.

“Wow, Mister Fu! You can’t carry all that by yourself!” Marinette rushes to his side, taking some of the bags. “I’ll help you.”

“Thank you, Marinette. But won’t you be late to school?”

“Don’t worry, you live close right? I’ll manage somehow.” Smiling at her conviction, Marinette and Fu start carrying the bags towards Fu’s house.

“How was your first day at school, Marinette?”

“Terrible. There’s this girl named Chloé that likes to make my life miserable. She’s the queen of the school, so there’s not really much I can do against her. My friend Alya says that I should just ignore her, but I’m not sure I can do that.”

“Are you the only one getting bullied?”

“Well, mostly… Kim likes to prank people, I don’t think he has bad intentions but he doesn’t really know when to stop joking. I just hope he doesn’t start picking on me from now on since I called him out on bullying Ivan.”

“You called him out?”

“I may be able to endure when it’s against me, but seeing injustice happen to other people really gets on my nerves! Ivan may look tough but he is really a big softie, so I wanted to help him out.”

“I see…”

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing. My friend taught me that phrase. I just wish I could have enough confidence.” Marinette looks a little depressed, looking down while walking, causing her to stomp into a street lamp and dropping some bags. She laughs a little before recomposing herself and picking up the bags again.

“We’re here, Marinette. Thank you so much for your help.” Fu opens the door, and takes the remaining bags from Marinette hands.

“It was my pleasure! Now I should really get running to school!” Marinette bows to say goodbye and start running, hitting the lamp again. Fu watches Marinette run off and looks down at a black box sitting in his palm with red markings on the lid. When she’s gone, Wayzz appears from Fu’s pocket.

“Is she the girl you were talking about, Master?”

“I have known Marinette and her family for a while, and she has always been so passionate and sincere. She just needs confidence, uh? I think I know who exactly can give that to her.” Fu leaves as he starts whistling.

A gray car stops in front of Collège Françoise Dupont, and when the door opens the one who leaves the car is Adrien Agreste, making various students surround it and try to get close to him. His bodyguard, nicknamed Gorilla, also gets out of the limousine and stands close to Adrien, making all the students get away a little scared.

“Adrikins, you came!” The only one who isn’t scared is Chloé, who surpasses the crowd and hurries to hug Adrien.

“Hey, Chloé.”

“Remember, he’ll come to pick you up, so don’t go home alone.” Nathalie opens the car windows and talks to Adrien, who simply nods and waves his hands as the car goes away.

“Come on, Adrikins, I’ll show you around school!” Chloé guides Adrien to their classroom, while Adrien signs some autographs on the way. When they reach the classroom door, Chloé rushes inside. “This is your seat, Adrikins. I saved it for you. Right in front of me !” Adrien enters the classroom too after that.

“Thanks, Chloé.” He seats down on the seat Chloé gave him, looking at Nino as he does. “Hey. I’m Adrien.” Adrien offers his hand to Nino for a handshake.

“You're friends with Chloé, then, huh?” Nino points his face at Chloé, making Adrien turn to see Chloé chewing a gum, then giving it to Sabrina for her to put it on a seat.

“Hey, what are you doing, Chloé?”

“The brats that sat here yesterday need a little attitude adjustment. I'm just commanding a bit of respect, that's all.” Chloé says this with a superior tone, making Adrien sigh.

“You think that's really necessary?”

“Ah, you've got a lot to learn about school culture, Adrikins. Watch the master.” Chloé goes to her seat, and Alya enters the classroom, not noticing the gum. The teacher also enters a little after Alya, and begins the lecture. A minute after the class started, Marinette entered it running and out of breath.

“Aff… Aff… Sorry I’m late…” Marinette looks around the classroom as she goes to her seat, mouth dropping and gasping as she sees Adrien. “A… A… Adrien Agreste!?” She screams loudly, making Chloé laugh.

“Yeah, that’s me” Adrien looks a little embarrassed at having his name screamed like that.

“Marinette, please refuse from screaming in the middle of class.”

“Sorry, sorry…” Marinette also looks embarrassed as she goes to sit. After she does, she feels something strange on her butt and gets up violently, knocking over the table. Chloé, Sabrina and Kim laugh at her.

“Marinette!” The teacher looks with disappointed eyes at Marinette. 

“Very funny, you know!” Marinette looks at Chloé very angry.

“Me? I didn’t do anything, Dupain-Cheng, it was little Adrikins here.”

“What? I didn’t…” Adrien suddenly stops talking.

“Adrien?”

“Marinette Dupain-Cheng! This is enough chaos for a day, go to the principal’s office!” Angered, Miss Bustier points at the door.

“But I-” Miss Bustier's face makes it clear she doesn’t want to hear any excuses, and keeps pointing at the door. Marinette resigns and gets out of the class.

“Don’t worry, Adrikins, now that son of a baker won’t annoy you anymore.” Chloé, still proud of what she did, tries to say that this was all for Adrien's sake, to which he doesn’t even answer, instead he gets up and tries to follow Marinette.

“Where do you think you are going, young man?” Miss Bustier confronts Adrien imprudence.

“To the bathroom!” Adrien says that and doesn’t even wait for a response, rushing out of the classroom. As he does, he sees Marinette’s not going to the principal’s office, but rather to the bathroom. Adrien follows suit, and since everyone’s in class and there’s no one on the courtyard, he opens his jacket a little, letting Nooroo out. “It is time, Nooroo.”

“Are you sure you don’t want to reconsider?”

“Nooroo, Metamorphosis!” By saying the transformation incantation, Nooroo forcibly enters the brooch, which is hidden by being pinned inside of Adrien shirt pocket. After the transformation is finished, he enters the girl’s bathroom. Locating the bathroom she is in thanks to her crying, Adrien gets closer to the door, which he knocks one time before starting to talk. “Marinette Dupain-Cheng. I am Dreamfly. I know how much you have suffered, being just a common girl and having to endure all this bullying. You don’t deserve this, so dedicated, so kind, so beautiful.” Adrien is talking with Marinette in a gentle tone. Very confused to say anything, Marinette just stutters as she listens. Dreamfly charges his cane with dark energy, creating an Akuma that phases through the door. Marinette tries to get away from the butterfly, but it ends up entering her purse, making a mauve colored mask appear on her face. “Your heart desires are very clear to me. Skinwalker, I’m offering you the power to show all of those who have wronged you how it feels being on your shoes. After that, I’m sure no one will ever bully you anymore.” [Just to clarify from the beginning, quantum masking is still a thing here, but I will use it more consistently since its obvious they didn't intend to have it from the first season.]

“You’re right, Dreamfly… I’ll show them!” The Akumatization is complete, making Marinette limbs get longer and her skin to turn completely white.

“Now. I’ll bring Chloé here, so wait.” Dreamfly leaves the room as he detransforms. Nooroo looks at the bathroom where Marinette is, worried.

“Master, please… You can still cancel it…”

“I can’t go back now. Now, remind me… I detransformed before the time runned out, but I would have detransformed 5 minutes after using my power, right?”

“Yes, Master. Since I’m feeling tired I’m gonna need to rest a little and eat the food I told you about.” [Instead of just having to eat to recharge, they also need a cooldown time now. Maybe like, 10 minutes? I didn’t decide it exactly but it shouldn’t be too much in order for the fights to not be weird. Also, since I removed to stupid feature of an incantation that makes the Miraculous activate an evil form, this also means that Adrien can only use his power once for transformation.]

“I have the Hibiscus in my bag, let’s go back to class.” Adrien walks back to the classroom.

“You did take your time, Adrikins.”

“I tried to talk to Marinette, but she locked herself in the girls bathroom. Chloé, you took that too far, you should go say sorry to her.”

“What? I’m not gonna say sorry to that poor girl.”

“Chloé. I’m asking this as a favor.” Chloé groans a little.

“Fine. I’ll go, but just for you, Adrikins. Teacher, I need to go to the toilet.”

“Okay, Chloé.” Miss Bustier continues her lesson as Chloé goes to see Marinette. Adrien takes a Hibiscus flower from his bag, giving it to Nooroo under his jacket.

“I thought you were just another of Chloé’s pawns. Maybe you’re cooler than I thought. Why didn’t you tell Marinette before it was Chloé who did that?”

“I've known Chloé since I was a little kid. I know she's not perfect, but I can't throw her under the bus. She's like my only friend.” Nino sympathizes with Adrien and smiles, offering his hand.

“I'm Nino, and it's time for you to make some new friends, dude.” Adrien accepts the handshake, both smiling.

“Hey, Dupain-Cheng? I’m just doing this because Adrien asked me to, but, like… So… So… Ugh, I’m so…” Chloé seems to be troubled to finish that sentence. But before she can even try again, Skinwalker leaves the bathroom she was in, revealing her gruesome form to Chloé.

“Chloé…” Chloé screams upon seeing Skinwalker, trying to retreat only to hit against the wall. Skinwalker approaches Chloé, touching her face and making her body get surrounded by a light. That same light condenses on a ball in the hand of Skinwalker, and she puts it in her purse to keep it. At the same time the light got removed from her body, Chloé now has the appearance of the normal Marinette.

“What did you…?” Skinwalker opens her purse, and the light covers Skinwalker’s body, giving her the appearance and clothing of Chloé Bourgeois, but still having the purse around her waist.

“No you’ll see what I had to endure all this time, Chloé.” Following those words with an evil laugh, Skinwalker rushes out to the classroom. After fully understanding what just happened, Chloé tries pursuing her body. When Skinwalker reaches the classroom, she looks very distressed.

“Miss Bustier, Marinette has gone crazy!”

“What? What happened, Chloé?” Chloé gets behind Skinwalker, also looking distressed and tired.

“D-don’t listen to her! I’m the real Chloé Bourgeois! Marinette has been turned into a monster and stolen my beautiful appearance!”

“Ridiculous! Totally ridiculous!”

“Stop trying to imitate me! Give me my body back!” Kim laughs at the show Marinette and Chloé are giving.

“She’s really gone crazy, uh?” Still laughing, Kim says that.

“Marinette, I don’t even know what to say… Maybe you should take the day off?”

“I don’t want a day off, I want my body back!” Chloé tries to attack Skinwalker, to which Nino gets up from his seat and grabs her by her arms.

“Wow, wow! Marinette, we all hate Chloé but we shouldn’t really resort to violence like this.”

“I… Am… Not… Marinette!”

“Sabrina, you should call your dad to get this crazy girl imprisoned!”

“No! Sabrina, don’t listen to her!”

“She seems unstable… Marinette was never like that…” Rose comments, at the same time Sabrina is turning on her phone and searching for her dad's contact. Ivan silently gets behind Sabrina and takes her phone.

“Hey! What gives?”

“She’s… Just tired…” Ivan says, a little embarrassed.

“Yeah, just take her to the nurse’s office to take a little rest, she’ll be alright.” Alya also interjects, taking Chloé’s hand and pushing her into the corridor.

“You’re lucky you have friends, uh?” Skinwalker smiles mischievously at Chloé as she walks away. Sabrina takes her phone from Ivan and puts it in her bag again. Skinwalker goes to sit where Chloé does, and the class continues normally.

“This should be enough… With this, Chloé definitely will wish to be able to cancel magic. Now I just need to wait for Nooroo to charge back.” Thinks Adrien as he sees the situation unfold.

In the infirmary, Chloé sits on a bed and starts crying about the situation. Alya looks at her very strangely, and sits on a nearby chair.

“Hey, I know this may sound weird, but… Are you really Chloé Bourgeois?”

“Of course I am! I’ve been saying that!”

“It is very strange for Marinette to just go crazy and start thinking she’s Chloé… How did this even happen?”

“I don’t know! I went to the bathroom to see Dupain-Cheng and this… Monster that looked like her got out from one of the stalls, touched me and stole my appearance.”

“It’s like she turned into a supervillain… Do you think there will be any superheroes nearby!?” Alya’s passion got the best of her, approaching Chloé and forgetting about the whole ordeal.

“What will I know? They’re not even gonna come if I can’t demonstrate what happened…”

“Don’t worry, that will be my job. Just try to maintain a low profile so you don’t get sent to a mental institution, I’ll keep an eye on the fake to see if she does anything strange.”

“Are you really gonna do this for me?”

“Well, it’s more for Marinette… But even if you’re terrible, I can’t leave you alone in a situation like this.”

“Thanks, I guess…”

When finally they got a break between classes, Adrien rushed into the bathroom again to transform into Dreamfly.

“I’m not feeling any negative emotions… Did Chloé somehow manage to calm down? That’s impressive, but it won’t be long before she gets angry again, I'll guarantee you. Nooroo, Reverse Metamorphosis.”

For the rest of the day, Chloé was asked to just endure whatever Skinwalker did and continue to take classes normally. Skinwalker did not let any opportunity to bully Chloé just like she did in the past. She took mean photos, spilled drink on her clothes, and stepped on her foot. That was not even the worst, but the fact that various students laughed at her.

“This is ridiculous! Completely ridiculous!” When it is time to leave school, Chloé looks absolutely pissed from all the bullying. But it is at that time that Alya arrives running to her side. “Finally! Did you find anything?”

“Yes! This is truly a scoop! Look at this!” Alya shows Chloé her phone, in which a video plays.

“You’re a monster!” In the video Skinwalker brings Sabrina into the bathroom, transforming back to her monster form in order to steal Sabrina’s skin and knocking her over on a stall.

“Perfect! Let’s go see my father, he’ll do something about this!”

“Okay, let me just post it…” Chloé pushes Alya to the Hôtel de Ville. Skinwalker looks at the both of them leaving, wearing Sabrina’s skin. Adrien leaves the school, entering the car prepared by his father to take him home.

At Hôtel de Ville, Chloé and Alya are talking with André.

“You do talk and act like my daughter… And even know things that only she should know… But even yet, you can’t expect me to believe you girls just with that?” The girls have explained the situation to André, but even then, it didn’t seem to be enough to fully convince him.

“But we have a video!”

“I don’t know… Maybe you’re talented with this stuff?”

“Ugh…” Alya facepalms, and Chloé looks desperate.

“We’ve got you surrounded, girls!” A voice coming from a megaphone comes from outside the city hall. Chloé, Alya and André look outside to see a full police force outside. André opens the window upon seeing Roger.

“What is going on here, Roger!?”

“Mayor, sir! Don’t worry, we’ve got this handled! Your kidnappers are not gonna get away with this!” Roger smiles at André, genuinely thinking he’s doing the correct thing.

“Kidnappers? I haven’t been kidnapped!”

“Don’t listen to him, daddy! It’s those kidnappers making him say that!” Skinwalker, disguised as Sabrina and standing alongside Roger, seems to be the one behind all this.

“Do you believe us now?”

“Well… I’m a little more willing to. But it doesn’t seem I can control the police anymore.”

“You girls! Get out of there this instant!” Roger screams to Chloé and Alya, thinking they really are kidnappers.

“What are we gonna do!? How are we gonna prove that’s not really Sabrina? Do you think the video will do?” Stressed, Chloé grabs Alya’s shoulder and shakes her.

“Obviously not, Chloé.”

“Then what!? Are we gonna go to jail!?”

“Well… I don’t know…”

“I’m not gonna let my daughter go to jail!” Suddenly, a yo-yo comes flying from the top of the city hall, wrapping itself around Sabrina’s body.

“What!? What is this!?” Roger looks up to see what is attacking his daughter.

“Me? Well, I’m Chancenella! The brand new superhero of Paris!”

“A superhero!?” Both Roger, Alya and Chloé say that at the same time, all of them with different intonations and emotions.

“If you’re a superhero, you should attack those terrorists, not my daughter!”

“I wouldn’t be so sure about that. This video here seems to say otherwise.” Chancenella opens her Yo-Yo, showing the video Alya took and uploaded.

“That’s my video!” Alya looks very excited to have indirectly helped a superhero.

“What!?” Roger looks at his daughter, very surprised.

“You know, I like that deceptive style you were going for, but the cat’s out of the bag. Or should I say the ladybug?”

Sabrina suddenly transforms back into Skinwalker, breaking free from the Yo-Yo string.

“That’s better.” Chancenella jumps down from the building. The superhero has short brown hair with red lights and a pixie cut, and wears a red jumpsuit with black polka dots on the torso, but it suddenly transforms into black, looking like some kind of stockings with a few red dots. Aside from that, she also wears a short red jacket with more polka dots that reaches her abdomen, highlighting that the jumpsuit also turns black on around the arms, looking like some large gloves with a single red dot on the reverse of the palm. On her face, she has a red mask with black edges.

“What are you!? What did you do to my daughter!?” Roger tries to get away from Skinwalker, but she rapidly grabs his face.

“The question would be… What did your daughter do to me? You’re about to find out when I put you in my shoes for allowing her to do it!” Skinwalker steals Roger's appearance, transforming him into another Marinette. “You’re next now, Mister Bourgeois!” Skinwalker runs on all four towards the open window, avoiding the bullets from the other policeman.

“Leave this supervillain to me!” Chancenella throws her Yo-Yo again, which this time wraps around Skinwalker’s foot.

“Forgetting about me?” Chancenella tries to push Skinwalker with the Yo-Yo, but she rapidly touches her own purse and changes form onto Kim, getting free from the string and using his athletic body to do a somersault and some acrobatics to get closer. When Skinwalker finally gets closer to the window, Chancenella tries again, wrapping her with the Yo-Yo, launching her against the Seine.

“Yeah, that’s right! Beat her!” Chloé gets closer to the window and encourages Chancenella, Alya swiftly pushes her from it and films Chancenella with the camera. Chancenella looks at the camera and poses with a smile.

“Miss Chancenella, do you know what happened to my friend Marinette?”

“It seems like she’s been Akumatized. She’s been transformed into a supervillain against her will. But don’t worry, I know how to fix it. You just have to keep filming.” Skinwalker comes back from being launched, and tries to hit Chancenella with various punches, just for her to dodge them all and take some distance from the monster. “That red thing said I needed to find an object that could have the Akuma and break it… It has to be that purse.” Chancenella aims at the purse with the Yo-Yo, but Skinwalker changes appearance into Chloé to make the attack pass right by. She also changes to Kim right away and grabs the string, pushing the heroine to herself, changing again into Skinwalker and finally connecting a hit, shoving her into a building, and making various people scream, run and take photos when noticing what is happening. Thanks to this moment of rest, the mask that appeared on Marinette’s face when she first got akumatized appears again.

“Skinwalker. Stop fighting that girl and go back to transforming people, there’s still more that laughed at you, or allowed you to get bullied.”

“You’re right, Dreamfly.” Skinwalker looks again at the city hall, walking again into there.

“I don’t know what that superhero wants… But even if she somehow can defeat Skinwalker, I just need her to cause enough chaos. If she can get the mayor of Paris, I’m sure I can create the power I’m looking for!” Think Dreamfly, being locked in his room while transformed.

“Ugh… I guess it’s time to use that.” Recomposing herself after being shoved away, Chancenella gets up and throws her Yo-Yo at the air. “Lucky Charm!” Activating her special power, the Lucky Charm creates a voice recorder. “This should help me overcome the challenge I’m facing, right? I think I might have an idea.” Chancenella runs towards the city hall.

Back at the city hall, Skinwalker enters André's office, making both girls and the mayor try to walk away until they hit a wall.

“Come on, Marinette! Remember what I said! These people are not worth it!” Alya puts herself in front of the mayor and tries to convince Marinette to stop, still filming all of this.

“You have never done anything to me, Alya. Get out of my way.”

“For the record, I have never done anything to you either…” André stutters in fear upon seeing Skinwalker’s form.

“You may not, however, your daughter bullied me and even got my friend expelled just because you couldn’t keep her in check!”

“Okay, okay! What if I asked her to say sorry?”

“Daddy! I’m not going to say sorry to her!”

“Come on, sweetie! Daddy can’t be looking like a 14-year old girl! I’ll lose my job!”

“Yeah, that’s right… The perfect revenge. Chloé won’t have any more power over no one!” Skinwalker extends her hand to touch André, until…

“You’re a monster!” Sabrina’s voice sounds from outside of the office.

“What?” Skinwalker slowly turns to look behind her.

“Yeah, that’s right. You can turn the mayor if you want, I have the power to turn them all back. So if you really want to continue doing that, you’ll have to fight me.” Next one is Chancenella's voice, also sounding from outside of the building.

“That girl really has that power? We can’t let her turn everyone back. Skinwalker, you’ll have to stop her. By stealing her appearance you’ll also steal her Miraculous, meaning she won’t have any powers anymore.” The mask appears in Skinwalker's face again as she receives commands.

“Understood.” Skinwalker turns completely away and brings herself to the window, searching for Chancenella. As she does that, the door of the office slowly opens, and the actual Chancenella shows up, shocking Chloé, Alya and André. As Skinwalker finds a voice recorder thrown onto the ground, she is too late to realize something is wrong, since Chancenella Yo-Yo is already wrapped around the belt of her purse, and with a push, the belt breaks itself as the purse lands in Chancenella's hands. Thanks to not being in direct contact with the Akuma anymore, Skinwalker begins to detransform. [I have changed one more rule about kamikos and akumas, you need to constantly be touching the object they’re inhabiting for them to transmit you power. This is to avoid any situation where you could just let your akumatized object elsewhere and win.]

“What? What am I…?” Marinette looks around, confused.

“Thank god! You did it, Chancenella!” Alya goes to hug Marinette, to which Marinette corresponds even if she is still confused.

“Hey, what about me?” Chloé looks at Chancenella.

“We’re about to find out.” Chancenella rips the purse apart. By doing that, several lights that represent the appearances stolen get out of the purse and start going back to their respective owners. Apart from the lights, a purple butterfly also gets out of the purse. “Look at that. Stop bothering us, Akuma.” Chancenella prepares her Yo-Yo, which opens itself into a kind of blueish portal. “Come here!” And then, uses it to capture the butterfly.

“Finally! I’m back to my normal appearance!” Chloé goes running to look herself into a mirror.

“Chloé, I’m… I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t…”

“Don’t talk to me, Dupain-Cheng.” Chloé goes away from the room, and André decides to follow her, sensing she looks angry.

“Ay, ay… The bullying is gonna get worse, isn’t it?”

“Marinette, girl, what happened to you?”

“Well, I… Don’t really know much, but there was a voice… He called himself Dreamfly.” Marinette tries to recall what she remembered before being Akumatized.

“So, Dreamfly, hm…” Chancenella thinks to herself. “Did you see him?”

“No, just a voice… I think he was a male, though… He seemed... Hurted.” Marinette whispers that last part, and crouches down to take her broken purse. “It’s ok, I can probably fix it.”

“Oh, yeah. Give me a moment.” Chancenella jumps through the window, and both Alya and Marinette look at her going. Chancenella picks up the voice recorder, noticing how the place is more filled up with various reporters. “You are not gonna want to miss this.” She throws the recorder into the air as she says the following. “Miraculous Chancenella!” The object dissolves into various ladybugs that begin fixing the damage inflicted to the city structure, and to Marinette’s purse. “Thanks, thanks.” After she finishes saying that, the reporters close their distance and begin to ask her various questions about her identity, the origins of their powers, etc. She ignores most of them or didn’t give any useful information.

“Nooroo, Reverse Metamorphosis.” Adrien detransforms, and gives Nooroo a hibiscus. “A superhero, uh? She has the Ladybug Miraculous, right? My father mentioned that.”

“Yeah, it seems so…” Nooroo eats slowly.

“What are her powers?”

“She has the power of Creation. I'm not exactly sure how it works aside from that, but she can repair any damage done from your Akumas. Although she can't nullify their powers.” [This is a nerf to the Ladybug Miraculous, since her ability to also destroy things done by the Akumatized doesn't make any sense with her power. She can just repair things, nothing more.]

“So it's only a matter of time… Next time, I just have to make a villain whose power will be permanent.”

Watching Chancenella's interview from his house, Fu seems to be smiling.

“She did it, Wayzz. Without the Cat's help, if I may say…”

“Should we go retrieve it, then? The girl you chose was weak enough to get akumatized, It’d be bad if it happens again after she find her Miraculous.”

“Maybe you're right, Wayzz, although I wanted to give it to her for her to get stronger.”

“I should be going.” From the TV, Chancenella tries to finish the interview, since she is about to detransform.

“Wait!” André Bourgeois interjects, getting closer to Chancenella. “Thank you for saving me, Chancenella. Not only me but other inhabitants of Paris. I think all of Paris thanks you for your altruism.”

“Altruism? Now wait a second, I may be a superhero, but I never said I'll be working for free.”

Audibly gasping at the TV, and as the episode ends, Fu instantly realizes… He had made a serious mistake.

Chapter Text

Gabriel Agreste and Nathalie Sancouer enter into the latter’s atelier.

“Did you see that, Nathalie!? That was the Ladybug Miraculous, I may have a chance to get my wish after all!”

“Although it is just one of them.”

“It doesn't matter, I'll keep it until I find the other one. I'll kamikotize you into Safari again.” Gabriel opens the safe, just to find… That the Butterfly Miraculous has vanished. “What!? No, this is impossible! Where has the jewel gone!? Has someone robbed it!? How is this possible? So that supervillain was created using my Miraculous!?”

“I'll look into the surveillance cameras.” Nathalie goes to the panel in order to look. [It has been established that Gabriel has cameras outside of the mansion, however never established that he has them inside of it. Because I personally think it fits character-wise and for the story, Gabriel doesn't have any cameras at least in his atelier.]

“It doesn't matter, I'll just use the other one!” Gabriel grabs the Peacock Miraculous, but Nathalie suddenly turns back.

“No! If you use it, you'll die, Gabriel!”

“If I get the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous, I can heal myself with their powers!”

“But what if you don't get it in time?”

“I have to do this Nathalie, for my wife.”

“Don't be sad, Nathalie. You know that I had agreed to it, that Gabriel never forced me to do anything. But he should never try to bring me back. You must continue to be happy, even though I'm no longer here. As long as there's love, it is possible. Adrien will be well-surrounded. He'll have you, Nathalie, and he'll have his father if Gabriel agrees to give up on his madness... and on me. Adrien... will have all the love he needs to be happy.” A mysterious voice sounds in the room, making Gabriel stop on his tracks and look at Nathalie’s phone, displaying a video.

“When Gabriel has a vision, nothing can stop him. Not even the impossible. His passion… sweeps everything away. He wanted so badly to make me happy but he pushed us too far. And when I realized that, I couldn't make him understand that… sometimes, you have to let go. Now it's too late for me. But not for you, Nathalie. Adrien shouldn't have to suffer the consequences of our mistakes. Our little prince has the right to create his own vision of happiness. Please protect him.” The video stops, and for a few seconds, no one says anything anymore.

“Listen to her, Gabriel… She was also my dear friend, so that's why I didn't stop you before… But if you're going to sacrifice your life in pursuit of this crazy dream, I can't ignore my dear friend's words.” Nathalie breaks the silence, trying to put sense into Gabriel.

Gabriel silently puts the Peacock Miraculous back to its place, and closes the safe, staring at Emilie's painting.

“Leave me alone, Nathalie.”

“Of course, sir.” Nathalie leaves the room, as per Gabriel's command.

In Fu's massage shop, he's carefully looking at the open Miracle Box.

“Master, I understand your point, but I'm not sure you can do this anymore.”

“I've runned from my mistakes long enough already, Wayzz, and look where it brought me. I should have retrieved the Butterfly Miraculous myself, not given the responsibility to others.”

“Master…”

“I know Marinette will give it back willingly. It was too much to entrust her with that power, but she is still a good person. However, that Cesire… She must have deceived me when we met, she is a selfish person, so I'll probably have to fight her. And for that, you two should be enough.” Fu picks up the Monkey Miraculous from the box.

“We're going to beat that bad ladybug, aren't we!?” The little monkey seems too excited to be used.

“Yes, that's exactly the plan.” Fu puts on the Circlet. 

“I just hope you know what you’re doing, Master. Your body may not be able to endure a unification.” [This is a strange inconsistency throughout the show. It isn’t exactly clear if just wearing more than one Miraculous is tiring for the wearer or not. Since it makes more sense to me personally, I’ll make that you can carry any Miraculous you want without it being a burden, however if you try to fuse two or more of them then yes it will be difficult for the user.]

“I’ll have to endure it this time.” Fu hides the Miracle box again, and walks off from the shop.

In the catacombs of Paris, in a room called La Plage, Cerise sits while waiting for a red tiny creature to finish eating a Cookie.

“I don’t know if you should say things like that, Cesire… You’re supposed to be a superhero.” Tikki talks while she is still eating.

“And I will be. But there’s nothing wrong with searching for fame and money while doing it, right? Now come on and finish eating.”

“I think I’m done.” Tikki goes to hide inside of Cerise's jacket, and the both of them get out from the catacombs using one of the secret exits, and starts walking home in the middle of the night.

However, before she finally reaches her destination she encounters a person standing at the entrance of her home.

“Mister Fu! Is so great meeting you here, how is it going?”

“I’m not going to fall for any more of your lies. I’ll be taking your Miraculous back. Wayzz, Shell On!” Surprisingly to Cerise, Fu seems to activate a Miraculous to transform. As soon as he’s finished, he tries to charge against a defenseless Cerise, but it seems like his articulations betray him and he kneels down in pain. “Not now, not now.” Cerise takes the chance and runs to an alley.

“Tikki, Spots On!” When confirming there’s no one watching her, she transforms into Chancenella using her own Miraculous. After transforming, she climbs onto the roof, waiting for Jade Turtle to follow into the alley. As he does, Chancenella jumps back down, using her Yo-Yo to strangle his neck. “So you were the one who gave me the Miraculous? I thought helping you was a waste of time, but you really did give me the best reward someone could have ever given me.”

“It’s not going to be like that for long. Shell-Ter!” Jade Turtle activates his power, creating a green barrier around himself that even cuts the Yo-Yo string.

“Should you really have done that? Now you’re gonna detransform.”

“There’s so much you don’t know, young lady. But now that you transformed, I’ll need to use it. Wayzz, Xuppu, Unify!” Suddenly, Fu seems to activate another transformation, and his costume changes a little as he transforms into Jade Monkey; besides now having some brown colors on it, he also now has bracers on both arms and legs, and a jade belt that looks like a monkey tail. His turtle hat now is located on his back, rather than on his head. Fu kneels down in pain once again, not being able to handle the fusion, but being protected by the shelter. Taking the opportunity, Chancenella once again takes off into the main streets.

“Lucky Charm!” Chancenella uses her power when she gets far enough, and it creates something similar to a snake hook, a little longer than normal. “He used two Miraculous, right? The thing on his head, and that bracelet. With this stick… Of course, I get it.” Chancenella goes to hide once again, watching in silence for Jade Monkey to come searching for her. After a while, she can see him searching for her, now wielding his hat as a shield in one hand, and a brown staff on the other. When the opportunity arises, Chancenella charges at Fu in a surprise attack, with the hook in hand and tries to use it to steal the circlet from his head.

“Shell-Ter!” Fu uses his power once again, this time creating a barrier around his head, which blocks the hook from stealing the Miraculous. “Uproar!” The staff brightens up in a yellow light, and then it extends to touch Chancenella in the torso. The lucky charm transforms into a red licorice rope, and Chancenella seems a little dizzy, but tries immediately to kick Fu’s knee, making him fall in order for her to get away. Once she is hidden again, Cerise detransforms and quickly gives a cookie to Tikki. [I don’t like the idea of the Monkey creating a toy for his power to work, so I changed to this, where you need to activate it and touch someone's body with it.]

“This is bad, I didn’t know he could use his power twice… I should have taken it without him noticing. Eat faster, Tikki!”

“Even if I eat faster, I still need 10 minutes to charge back too.”

“Let’s keep moving, then. I can’t let him find me in this state.” Cerise keeps an eye on Jade Monkey while trying to stay hidden from his view and get a better look at where he’s at.

“Uproar!” The staff in Jade Monkey hands began glowing again. “You don’t have any escape, young lady. I’ll be retrieving your Miraculous whether you want it or not.” Cerise clicks her tongue, annoyed at Fu.

“But anyway, how is he able to use his power more than once? That wasn’t what you told me before.”

“Only adults can use their powers without de-transforming back.”

“And what was that power he used?”

“It’s the power of the Monkey Miraculous which allows to interfere with the powers of others.”

“I see…” Cerise sees how Jade Monkey is still on the lookout, cautious in the search for her. He knows her identity, so he isn’t going to leave her alone until he is dealt with. Sure, she could just abandon the Cerise identity whatsoever, it’s not like she doesn’t have plans in case she needed to do that, but it seems like a shame to do it over this, besides… “If he gave me mine and still has another two Miraculous… How much more does he have? I need them all.” Cerise smiles maliciously as she looks down on Jade Monkey. “Tikki, the time has already passed, right?”

“Well, yes…”

“Next time, you’re going to inform me right away.”

“Yes, Cerise…”

“Tikki, Spots On!” Cerise transforms into Chancenella. “Lucky Charm!” Activating her power once again, this time it creates a rock. “It changed this time… However, I do know what to do with this.” Chancenella throws the rock into the ground all the way up from the top of the building. Fu, without turning, rapidly attacks with the staff to the direction where he heard the sound. An instant after that, Chancenella also falls from the building, landing exactly at the staff and being affected by Uproar. But even with that, she is able to remove Fu’s circlet with a swift movement, and does a backflip to grow distance.

“No!” Jade Monkey turns back into his regular Jade Turtle form, and turns back to see how Chancenella puts on the Circlet.

“Tikki, Xuppu, Unify!” Chancenella also undergoes another transformation thanks to the fusion, becoming Chanscimmia. In her new appearance, some brown parts appear on the costume, her jacket is now closed by a golden zipper, is also now wearing gloves that are red at her fingers, golden at her wrist, black at the rest and have tan cuffs, and has a brown belt around her waist, which has the Yo-Yo string also wrapped around it, and the actual Yo-Yo resembling a monkey tail. At last, she now has the staff in her right hand. “Ngh…” Chanscimmia falls onto her knees, not being able to handle the fusion.

“You got greedy, young lady. But if only you weren’t so, you may have been a great heroine. I will now be taking the Miraculous I entrusted you.” Fu gets closer to Chanscimmia, extending his hands to remove the ladybug earrings. When he does, he deactivates the fusion, leaving Cerise with a brown and golden jumpsuit that has a belt around her waist, from which there is hanging a rope with a monkey fist knot at its end. She also has a jacket that completely covers her torso and is closed by a golden zipper, highlighting that this suit also has something that resembles large gloves on both hands; while her left hand is brown with some golden details, her right hand is completely golden. Her staff is still being grabbed by her left hand.

“And you are a fool. Uproar!” Being able to move again, Cerise is able to rapidly move her left hand and heavily hit Fu’s torso, shoving him to crush into a building, dropping the Ladybug Miraculous. “You got your wish, didn’t you? But now I’ll be taking it back.” Zampascimmia retrieves the Ladybug earrings, and walks towards Jade Turtle. Too damaged to resist, and even unable to create a barrier thanks to being hit by Uproar, Zampascimmia is able to also remove the Turtle Miraculous, and equip it herself. 

“Master!” Wayzz comes out from the Turtle Miraculous, looking at the defeated Fu.

“I messed up, Wayzz… To be honest, that seems to be what I always did. I don’t deserve to say this, however… I hope there’s still someone who can defeat you… I’ll leave the responsibility to them.”

“Such a strange old man.” Cerise puts the earrings back.

“You! You…!” Wayzz turns to look at Zampascimmia angrily.

“What? What do you want, kwami? Because I do want something from you, you know.” Zampascimmia removes her Circlet to forcibly detransform since she doesn’t know the phrase. “Wayzz, Shell On!”

“No, wait!” Wayzz is forced to transform Cerise into Tartarubato, with a similar suit to Chancenella, but with green colors and hexagonal patterns, and bracers to break the monocolor of her gloves. She has the shield tied to her back, which she removes and holds onto her hand. “Shell-Ter!” She traps Fu inside of a circular barrier, and goes to hide him in a back alley. “You stay here, while I go search if you have any other Miraculous.” Having completely won, Tartarubato leaves the scene, with more power than ever.

The one that enters Fu's Massage Shop is Red Turtle, because Cerise has fused the Ladybug and the Turtle Miraculous, gaining a version of the turtle suit with red an black colors.

“Moving in this form is very difficult. But I have to master the fusion ability and get more powerful. You never know if the old man had allies.” She begins looking everywhere inside of the shop, in search of any kind of jewel that might look like a Miraculous. Eventually, upon breaking everything there is and looking even inside of the walls, she finds the Miracle Box. “Oh, I think this is it.” Red Turtle opens the Miracle Box, and begins putting on the Miraculous one by one. All the Kwamis begin to panic inside of the magical world as she does that.

“Aaah! We are doomed, we are doomed!” The orange dog, Barkk, screams in terror when her Miraculous is taken. Five kwamis leave from the lid of the box when noticing what’s happening, they rapidly try to take their Miraculous from the box and flee, but Red Turtle manages to grab three of them back. The only ones that are still free are a blue one with a snake tail and one that looks like a bee. Red Turtle tries to extend her hand to grab the comb that the bee is carrying, however…

“I won’t let you! Venom!”

“Pollen, no!” Sass tries to stop her, but it is too late.

“Shell-Ter!” Upon sensing something is wrong, Red Turtle activates a red barrier around herself. At the next instant, a yellow light covers all of Fu’s shop. Pollen flies from the shop when the light ends, and Sass follows a little slower, taking breaks, it seems like he has been mildly affected by the power even if it wasn’t Pollen’s intention. Even if she has created a barrier to protect herself, Red Turtle still seems to be somewhat affected. She tries to move, but only can move a little every once in a while. The good part is that her condition seems to be gradually improving, however, it would take various minutes before she is finally free from the effect completely. “Unshield.” The barrier disappears, and Red Turtle looks at the window where Sass and Pollen disappeared. “Well, I lost just two of them… I may even be able to get them back quickly. All of you, tell me what you can do.”

Cerise goes back to the alley where she left Mister Fu, now with the Miracle Box on her hands and a new appearance. Upon using the Horse Miraculous to transform into Equitale, a large low ponytail surged from the end of her hair. Her suit now has a deep brown color without any type of pattern, and also has some bracelets that give volume to her gloves. The most notable change is the fact that her stockings now have volume and look like some long boots with small, light gray horseshoes on the sides of them. Downside from her chest, she has the horseshoe that the Horse Miraculous uses as a weapon.

“Look at me. I now have almost all of them.”

“Almost?”

“Two of them managed to escape, and there were four missing from the beginning.”

“I see. Then, perhaps… Maybe not all hope is lost. There is still a chance someone will defeat you.”

“I’m a heroine, old man. I don’t need to be defeated.”

“Not for very long, that I can assure you. I know your heroine days will be few, very few.”

“Shut up! Voyage!” Equitale opens a portal under the barrier, and jumps into it right away. The two of them are in La Plage, where Equitale leaves the Miracle Box. “Dismount.” Equitale desactives her transformation and opens the Miracle Box. “I’m still your owner, you understand? You’ll stay in the box unless needed, and won’t try to do anything funny.”

“Yes, rider…” Kaalki goes back onto the Miraculous, and Cesire places it inside of the box.

“Are you just going to leave me here?” Fu wonders, still trapped inside the barrier.

“I can’t leave you free, can I? I don’t know if you can get help, and even if you can’t you still can try to tell people who I am or what happened. You’ll stay here for now, unless I find a way to deal with you.”

“There’s still time for you to give up. Evil never wins, you know?” Cesire touches her earrings when he says that, and ultimately smiles.

“I’m not evil, old man.”

Pollen had already gotten away from his vision, leaving Sass completely alone and increasingly losing altitude because of being mildly affected by Pollen’s Venom. Finally, he hits the ground completely unable to move, completely paralyzed inside of Le Grand Paris. After some minutes, various people completely ignore the creature mistaking it for just some plush, until one person tries to enter the hotel before finding it.

“And what is this? Some kind of plush?” Chloé Bourgeois grabs Sass, noticing it has some kind of jewelry attached to it. “Blue? Not a fan of the color, personally. It looks fancy, though.” Chloé takes Sass and her bracelet with her, going back into her room.

Thursday, September 3th

In the morning of the next day, Chloé is awakened by a strange voice before her normal waking hour.

“You, state your name.” Sass is floating over Chloé.

“Wha… What!? What are you!? I’m going to call my dad if you put a finger on me!” Chloé tries to get away from the creature.

“My apologies if I scared you. My name is Sass, the Kwami of Intuition. I’m still not sure if you’re worthy of being my owner, but you found my Miraculous.”

“Worthy? Of course I’m worthy! Wait, you’re the plushie I found yesterday, you can talk?”

“I can do more than just talking. But I don’t know yet if I should tell you.”

“Ugh, why so secretive? Well, if you’re not gonna tell, then I should get ready for school.”

“Yes, you do that. Take the bracelet with you, I’ll be watching your behavior.”

Adrien is in his room, transformed into Dreamfly. There is still half an hour until he has to go to school, and he has added to his routine that every morning like this he will send an Akuma to search for a suitable person to be Akumatized. [I have removed the empathy ability for the Butterfly Miraculous, or at least nerfed it. Butterfly holders are still more sensitive to feelings but from closer people. They can send Kamikos and Akumas in order to also sense feelings close to them.]

“I can’t believe this…” Adrien hears a voice directly onto his mind. “Do they not respect me? My work, my art?” The Akuma enters into the room where this person is, and introduces itself into a phone he’s holding, making a mask appear on his face.

“Thomas Astruc, my name is Dreamfly. So your fans don’t respect your work and decide to change your history and characters?”

“Yeah! Even with all the effort I put in, and all I get from my own fans is hate and criticism because they don’t like how I handled things!”

“Then I’ll give you the power you need to make them respect you.”

“Yes! As Animaestro, I’ll make them respect my creation!” Thomas is akumatized into Animaestro, whose appearance is only a silhouette of himself but semi-transparent with pencil-scribbles filling out his body. [Since Animaestro is one of those villains with a power so broken that they just don’t win because he doesn’t want to, and besides I don’t know if this was part of the joke of the episode but also has nothing to do with being a director, his power will be changed here.]

As Chloe finishes dressing herself, she turns on the TV.

"Even though the last attack was literally yesterday, another super-villain appeared in Paris just a few minutes ago. Chancenella is still to show up, but this villain seems to be even more powerful than the last one. The Mayor has announced that everyone must stay inside until he is dealt with.”

“Ugh, another one? This is really gonna get annoying if it becomes a daily occurrence.” Chloé sits on her bed, annoyed to have dressed herself for nothing. “Well, Chancenella is going to solve everything right away, I trust her!”

“Hmm… And do you wish to help defeat the villain?” Sass floats to Chloé’s shoulder.

“You’re still here… Look, I don’t really know if I want to take care of a creature like you. I don’t even know what you are, do you need me to feed you or something?”

“Well, if you don’t want to take care of me that’s a shame, I was thinking that I could turn you into a superheroine.”
“Wait, wait, wait! You can do that? Are you some sort of genie!? I could help Chancenelle fight those villains!?” Chloé seems very excited at the thought of fighting alongside Chancenelle.

“I do hope my instinct is correct on this one… You remember the bracelet you found? That’s my Miraculous, and can grant you the power of Intuition if you decide to wield it. However, you must only use this power for the greater god, do you understand?”

“Yes, yes, yes! Oh my god I’m going to be so popular!”

“You must not reveal your secret identity. Please think of a superhero name just like that other girl does, and don’t let anyone know your real identity.”

“What? Why!?”

“The supervillains could attack you while you’re not ready to fight back, it’s just too dangerous.”

“Okay, okay, I will not reveal my identity, I get it.”

“Good.” Chloé goes back to pick up the Miraculous, putting it on her right arm and getting perplexed at how it’s appearance changes to a golden bracelet with black stripes pattern. “Wow, that is cool.”

“Your power is the power of Second Chance, to activate it, move backwards the head of the snake bracelet to mark a point in time. Once you do, you have five minutes before your transformation is deactivated. But while you don’t reach the five minute limit, you can move the head backwards as much as you want to go back to that point in time.” Sass tries explaining his power to Chloé, who looks confused while looking at the bracelet.

“That seems very complicated, and the snake disappeared, what am I supposed to do now?”

“Say ‘Sass, Scales Slither’ to transform.”

“Okay, let’s do this! Sass, Scales Slither!” As Chloé transforms, her hair grows longer and gains blue lights, her ponytail wraps around itself making a twirl and her hair tie becomes spiky with a blue color, her lips get covered by a blue lipstick and in her face a mask similar to Viperion appears. Her body is covered by a bodysuit with a blue color that has a scale texture, a yellow diamond on the chest, and a ouroboros belt similar to the miraculous itself on the waist that holds the lyra, separating her bodysuit into what seems to be two parts. On her legs, the suit seems to have some large stylish boots with heels. “I did it! I really transformed just like Chancenella!” Chloé jumps in place, very excited for a few seconds. When she stops, Chloé coughs once and gets out to her balcony. “I’m going to help, Chancenella!” After saying that, she begins to jump between buildings.

Sitting in a chair in front of her computer, Marinette is watching the news about the new Akumatized villain.

“Oh, no…”

“Hey, are you really not going to do anything?” A black small creature is laying on Marinette’s table, eating a piece of cheese.

“I’m not cut to be a superheroine, Plagg. I didn’t even do a good supervillain.” Marinette looks a bit depressed upon remembering that.

“Well, I don’t really mind not having to work, but if the Guardian entrusted you with this he probably had faith you could do it.”

“I don’t even know that Guardian, Plagg. If I did, I would have returned you already.” Marinette sighs, but Plagg doesn’t respond in order to eat more.

“The Akumatized villain is still wreaking havoc, but Chancenella is still not doing anything. From the information we’re receiving, she is still negotiating with the mayor a contract for her services, and is not gonna help until they reach an agreement.”

“Ugh! I hate her! How can she be like… That! She’s supposed to be a heroine! Didn’t this guardian also select her? I thought he was wise!” Marinette gets up from her chair angry at Chancenella, and looks at Plagg.

“Well, clearly he made some mistakes. A girl that doesn’t want to transform, and another that is doing this for money. I did not want to admit it, but he’s probably going a little senile.”

“Hey! Don’t lump me with that jerk! We’re totally different!”

“Yet neither of you are fulfilling your duty as Miraculous holders.” Marinette growls, falling into Plagg’s provocation.

“You know what? You’re right! I’m going to show her what a true superhero must do! Plagg, claws out!” Marinette shows her pink gold ring, forcing Plagg to enter in it with his cheese unfinished. When her transformation is finished, she has a very similar suit to Lady Noire, but with a little more details like a pink gold bell on her neck, and shoes that have an appearance resembling a paw. Her chinese ladder braid is also shorter than in that form. “Okay, I think I can do this…” Marinette opens the trapdoor to the balcony and uses it to go out to search for the villain. In her room, though, the TV is still playing.

“But what is this? Another superheroine seems to have appeared on the scene to fight the villain!”

Animaestro is surrounded by hundreds of other people that are following him as he walks.

“Animators! Delete that wall.” As soon as Animaestro said that, some of the people that followed him pointed their pencil towards a wall of a building, deleting it from existence. Animaestro jumps into the now open house, and gets closer to a person that is hiding in fear. “I found you! You wrote that gay fanfiction with my characters, didn’t you? How could you do that! Do you not understand that the main characters are made for each other!”

“Get away from me!” Animaestro points towards the person with his phone.

“I’m going to cast you as an actor for my brand new story! The one where you admit how pathetic you were for trying to defile my story, you hater!” A lyre suddenly hits Animaestro in the head.

“Dang it, I missed it!” Chloé is standing from outside of the house.

“And who might you be?” Animaestro takes a picture of the person standing in front of him.

“I’m, uhm… I’m Snake Queen! And I’m here to defeat evil like you!”

“There’s something about you that I don’t like at all. Writers, I want a script with her defeat now!”

“What?” Another good chunk of Animaestro’s followers begin to move to his side, and one gives him a piece of paper.

“Perfect script! Actors, defeat her!” Snake Queen starts being attacked by dozens of Animaestro followers, and even after exchanging various blows with them, it looks like her inexperience isn’t allowing her to win. She is thrown multiple times into buildings, cars and lamps.

“This is ridiculous! It’s like they know all of my moves!”

“But of course they do. You’re included in the script, you know?”

“What kind of ridiculous power is that!?” Chloé snaps and screams at the smug Animaestro. “Let’s see if this was in your script, then! Second Chance!” After activating Second Chance, Snake Queen starts fighting again with the actors, and turning back in time every once in a while to memorize their patterns. After beating the 2 minute barrier with 72 resets, Snake Queen is without a doubt gaining advantage every time she resets, but the sheer amount of ‘actors’ Animaestro is using makes her odds of actually winning before the 5 minutes very low.

“You may try to defile my script all you want, but it’s absolute! Even if you are improvising a little, the result will be ultimately the same! In your defeat!”

“Ugh, I need to get rid of that stupid script.”

“You don’t need to ask twice!” A voice echoes in the distance, and a person in a black bodysuit uses various of the actors' heads as a platform to jump straight into the house where Animaestro is.

After 72 resets, Snake Queens manages to beat enough of the actors to jump into the house where Animaestro is. “Cataclysm!” Her hand covers itself in a black energy, and upon touching the script it completely withers and makes the actors stay completely still. Snake Queen also jumps into the house when given the chance.

“Hey, who are you?”

“That’s what I should ask!”

“I’m Snake Queen, Chancenella’s sidekick! No, wait… Partner!”

“So you’re with her, uh?”

“Well, not exactly, but…”

“You disrespectful women! How dare you defile my script! I’m going to make you pay!” Animaestro points to the both of them with his phone.

“Sure, whatever you say.” Snake Queen ignores Animaestro and kneels down to pick her lyre. The sound of Animaestro taking a picture is heard, and when Snake Queen turns down, the other girl stands completely still. “Hey, what are you doing? Aren’t you going to finish him off?”

“Actor, attack her!” As if she’s hypnotized, the girl jumps at Snake Queen to attack her. “This is gonna be your punishment for messing with my script!” Upon struggling a lot to free her arms, Snake Queen finally reaches for her bracelet to go back in time. This time, when the heroine arrives, the exchange is different.

“Hey, kitty! Don’t let him take a picture of you!”

“Kitty!?”

“I didn’t get your name last time, just listen to me!”

“I’m Minou. Minou Malchance!”

“How is that any different from kitty?” Thinks Snake Queen.

“You disrespectful women! How dare you defile my script! I’m going to make you pay!” Animaestro points at Malchance with his phone. Malchance uses various backflips, twirls and somersaults to avoid him taking a picture of her. While he is distracted with Malchance, Snake Queen jumps into the building to get her lyre back without being noticed. When the chance arises, she focuses and throws the lyre, trying to hit the phone.

“Shoot.” But she fails. After activating another reset, she throws the lyre again, hitting the phone and taking it away from Animaestro. As the phone hits the floor and breaks, an Akuma is liberated from it and Animaestro turns back into normal.

“What am I doing here? I should be working!”

“You have been turned into a villain, idiot.”

“It’s called akumatization.” Malchance looks at the Akuma, and Snake Queen does the same.

“Chancenella did something with her yo-yo to purify it, didn’t she? What do we do with it?”

“I know exactly what to do.” Malchance jumps to catch the Akuma with both of her hands, and smashes it. “Miraculous Malchance!” A wave of energy expands from her hand, restoring the wall of the house and frees all of Animaestro’s followers from mental control.

“Wow, that’s the same thing Chancenella did, right?”

“Not exactly, I can’t fix things… I just used my powers to destroy all of the akuma magic, canceling anything he did. But any damage not done by the akuma, well…” Snake Queen looks out at how Thomas' phone is still broken, and then looks out of the window to see the broken buildings and cars.

“Oh, no…” Snake Queen looks at the damage, somewhat shaken by the sight.

“Hey, Mister Astruc? What happened?”

“You know me… It’s just that… People like him! They try to change my story with those totally out of character ideas!” Thomas points at the average civilian he is angered with.

“I understand how that may be seen as offensive, Mister Astruc, but shouldn’t you try and see it from another perspective? If they even bother to do that, it is because they somewhat love what you created and are inspired by it. You should feel proud of yourself, you know?”

“Maybe you’re right, miss.”

“It’s Minou. Minou Malchance.” Malchance gets up while Thomas and the fan reconcile, and walks towards Snake Queen, offering her fist. “Pound it?”

“What are you saying, kitty?” Snake Queen dismisses the fist bump completely while looking at the outside. “There they are! Come on!” Snake Queen rushes outside, and Malchance follows her, a bit annoyed. Outside, they are surrounded by the press.

“Are you two related to Chancenella? What are your names? How did you three get your powers? How would you describe your victory upon this villain?”

“Well-”

“I’m Snake Queen! And this kitty here is called Minou Malchance. She’s my sidekick, you know. She is a little useful, but this victory can be mostly attributed to me, as the first one to come.” Malchance tries to answer the question, but Snake Queen pushes her to get all of the press attention.

“How much are you gonna be charging the mayor for your services?”

“Charging him? Oh, please, we’re superheroes, Chamack. We do this to help the people, isn’t that right, Malchance?”

“Why, yes! Yes we do!” Seeing a glimpse of hope on Snake Queen, Malchance smiles.

“You’re so cute, kitty.” 

“What!?” Malchance blushes upon hearing those words.

“However, I have a list of ways you can show gratitude for my work. You know, a national day on my name, some statues and paintings. Oh, and music! Costumes! Dolls!” Malchance facepalms, and a beep is heard from her ring.

“Hey, Snake Queen. I think I’m going to detransform soon, I should get going.”

“Detransform? What are you…” Snake Queen looks at her bracelet, seeing how there’s little more than a minute for her. “Yeah! We need to go, people of Paris! But remember us, we’re here to save you every time that Dreamfly attacks!” Both Malchance and Snake Queen flee the scene before they detransform.

Just as André was about to sign the contract with Chancenella, someone enters the room.

“Sir!”

“Not now, this is an important legal matter!”

“But sir, the supervillain has been defeated!”

“What!?” Chancenella and André say in unison, both very perplexed. The person who entered shows them the video of Snake Queen and Malchance talking to Nadja about not needing any reward.

“Oh, this is great, great news! I’m sorry, ladybug girl, but if that’s the case I won’t sign this contract.”

“What!? No, you can’t do this! They are amateurs! They are not gonna do this job right! They don’t even have my power to restore the city! Think of all the damage!”

“I think the damage will be less pricey than this contract.”

“Nnngh!” Chancenella breaks André's table furiously, before running away by jumping through the window.

Back at La Plage, Cerise is analyzing the footage, while Fu laughs in the background.

“Serves you right! That girl wasn’t a bad option after all… And Sass has found a decent holder, too… You won’t be able to reign this city any longer.”

“For now, at least.” Upon sensing malicious intent from her, Fu stops laughing. “I’m so much more powerful than those amateur girls, thanks to all these Miraculous. If I could just get them to disappear… I’ll be the only superhero Paris needs, once and for all!”

“Snake Queen… Minou Malchance… I hope you are the heroes that I wished for. The heroes that can stop her.”

Adrien is looking at the TV, seeing how Snake Queen and Minou Malchance defeated Animaestro.

“She’s gorgeous…” Adrien looks charmed while looking at the TV.

“Master?” When he hears Nooroo’s voice, he gets back to his senses.

“This Snake Queen…”

“She seems to use the Snake Miraculous, Master.”

“So, a snake… I see.”

“What about the other, Master?”

“Oh, yeah, the other… She has a power that can nullify my Akumatized villains magic. Chancenella couldn’t do that, so it was a matter of time before I could fulfill my wish. But if she’s gonna keep appearing, then it’s obvious what I need to do. I need her gone.” Nooroo gasps, but before he can say anything, someone knocks on the door.

“Adrien. The akuma was dealt with, it’s safe to go to school now” Nathalie’s voice echoes from the other side of the door.

“Coming! Good thing I didn’t change.” Adrien opens his jacket, letting Nooroo hide in it. Nathalie takes Adrien outside and lets him in the care of Placide, who drives him to school. Upon seeing them leave, Nathalie goes back inside of the house, entering Gabriel’s atelier.

“Did you see that, Nathalie? There was a girl wearing the Cat Miraculous.”

“I did see it on the news, sir.”

“Do you not understand what this means!? I could finally get the two of them and fulfill my wish!”

“But sir, how are you gonna do that? You don’t have any power to steal them.”

“Oh, but yes I do.” Gabriel opens the safe, and Nathalie rushes to his side to stop him from picking the Peacock Miraculous.

“What are you doing!? Do you need me to show you the video again!? Your wife would not approve of this! Don’t sacrifice your life just to save hers!”

“Nathalie… Delete that video. This is an order.” Gabriel frees himself from Nathalie’s grip, and puts on the brooch. Nathalie can only watch in terror. A deep blue colored creature emerges from it.

“Hey, I think I remember you! Gabi, right?”

“No, not quite. It’s Gabriel, but it’s probably gonna be better if you get used to my new name. I’ll be White Peafowl! And I swear I’m gonna get the ladybug and cat Miraculous!”

Malchance reaches her balcony and goes down the stairs before detransforming.

“Uff… Uff… I did pretty well for my first time, right Plagg?” She looks tired from all the effort.

“Yeah, I guess so.” Plagg flies to his cheese to eat more of it.

“Who was that other girl? You didn’t tell me about her, and she really got on my nerves!”

“I didn’t know, probably the master recruited another hero since you didn’t do anything.”

“Well, I guess that makes sense…” Marinette throws herself on the bed.

“But how was it, anyway? Using my power and letting yourself loose!”

“I guess it was fun.” Marinette smiles, and closes her eyes.

“Marinette! Since the villain was defeated, classes are back as normal!” Sabine screams from the floor below.

“Oh, no!” Marinette rapidly gets up, and runs down.

“Hey, wait for me!” Plagg phases through the floor to follow Marinette.

At Collège Françoise Dupont. Since the akumatized villain has been defeated, classes began normally a little late. Marinette and Alya enter the class, and while Alya goes to sit in the seat they were in yesterday, Marinette grabs her hand.

“No, wait.” Marinette pushes Alya to sit on the seats behind Nino. When Chloé and Sabrina enter, Chloé looks at them for a second.

“Hey, those are not your seats!” Sabrina says.

“Leave them, Sabrina. I don’t really care.” Chloé goes to sit on their normal seats, Sabrina follows, a little shocked.

“Hey, good job!” Alya congratulates Marinette. Adrien enters the classroom, going straight to his seat with a somewhat down face. “Hey, Marinette, have you talked with Adrien?” Alya whispers to Marinette.

“What? Why would I?”

“He followed you yesterday after you ran away from class.”

“He did?” Marinette glances at Adrien, a little surprised.

Classes advance normally, and at lunchtime, Marinette rushes to Adrien before he can go into the car.

“Hey! Uhm, I heard from Alya that you went to look for me yesterday.” Marinette speaks as she catches her breath.

“Ah. I suppose I did…”

“Why? Weren’t you the one who did that?”

“No, not exactly… I’m sorry, it was Chloé who did that. I didn’t want to snitch on her, but I could have stopped her.” Marinette looks into Adrien, who looks really sorry.

“You should smile more.”

“What?”

“Your smile in the magazines is pretty, but I haven’t really seen you smile like that since you’re here!” Adrien looks shocked at Marinette, who turns away upon realizing what she’s saying.

“I've never been to school before. I've never had friends. It's all sort of new to me.”

“So you’re just now learning to set you loose?” Marinette turns to look at Adrien again, offering her hand. “I can empathize with that, you know. Would you be my friend too?” They share brief eye contact, in which Adrien's eyes sparkle and he blushes before taking her hand. After that, Marinette runs back to the cafeteria. Adrien keeps staring at her for a while, before leaving for the car.

“First week of school and we already have two lovebirds.” Plagg flies to Marinette's side.

“What? No, he’s just a friend. And you, you better enter here again!” Marinette pulls up her bag, to which Plagg goes back to.

When classes are over, it seems that it is raining. Most people did bring an umbrella, but Marinette with all the rush to get to school forgot hers, so she is just looking at the rain waiting for it to calm down.

“ Dupain-Cheng.” She stops beside Marinette and opens her umbrella, but Marinette just ignores her. “Take this.” Chloé offers her umbrella to Marinette, without even looking to her.

“Wait, what?” Marinette looks shocked at the umbrella.

“Look, I’m sorry, okay? I may have gone too far. I won’t do it anymore.”

“Chloé, you…” Marinette takes the umbrella, and she looks at her before taking it. Right after she does, the umbrella closes over Marinette's head, causing Chloé to laugh.

“Well, don’t take this like we’re friends or anything. I just won’t bully you anymore. You’re just so ridiculous, totally ridiculous. It’s just not worth it.” Marinette laughs while adjusting the umbrella.

“What are you laughing at?”

“Not worth it, eh?” Marinette laughs, remembering that was Alya's phrase. “Thank you, Chloé.” Marinette goes away to her house.

“Chloé, what was that?” Sabrina was looking from behind, and then got closer to Chloé.

“I just felt like it.” Both of them got into Chloé’s limousine.

The episode end, watching how the limousine gets away.

Chapter Text

After Sabrina has gone back home for the night, Chloé gets ready to sleep, laying on her bed while smiling at her phone.

“What are you doing?” Sass appears in front of Chloé, looking at her phone screen while she scrolls on some posts.

“Just doing a vanity search.”

“A what? Well, whatever. I feel like I didn’t congratulate you enough about that fight. A good use of my power, if I say so myself.”

“Yeah, I know! Look at this!” Chloé gets up and shoves her phone at Sass, scrolling down on some posts on social media.

“Snake Queen was fantastic!”

“She was so cool. She knew exactly what to do at every moment!”

“Well, you sure could learn a bit more modesty.” Sass says while reading the comments, however he goes serious after reading a specific comment.

“So much better than Chancenella.”

“Chloé, I need to tell you a thing.” Chloé takes the cellphone again to read the comments herself.

“Yeah, what happened to Chancenella? She didn’t appear to help.”

“Listen to me. Chancenella is not a hero.”

“What are you saying? She saved me!”

“She may have done that, but she didn’t from the goodness of her heart, she did it because she expected a reward from it.”

“And what’s so wrong about that?”

“That’s not how heroes think. If you really think like that, maybe you aren't really suited to be a heroine.”

“What!? That's ridiculous! I’m super suited to do it! You said so yourself, I did good!” Sass sighs.

“You’re right, sorry. But you must learn that being a hero is a big responsibility. You have a power that you must use to help those in need, not to gain something. That’s what will really make people adore you.”

“You do have a point, I guess.”

“I have a hunch that you understand this deep inside. You have a good heart, even if you really don’t show it. But Chancenella was not like that. Her greed not only made her incapable of being a superhero, but also transformed her into a supervillain.” Chloé listens confused but also intrigued. “You remember how you found me in the middle of the street? I was running away from her.”

“What? Why?”

“The Miraculous she has was given to her by the guardian, who tried to create two superheroes to stop the Butterfly Miraculous holder from doing evil. However, when he deemed Chancenella unworthy of being a superhero he tried to retrieve the miraculous, but instead she beat him and stole all the Miraculous. Only two of us kwamis could really escape.” Chloé falls silent, looking at her phone’s screen.

“I don’t know what she plans to do now, but I would expect anything from her. You should be prepared to fight her if things get bad.”

“Fighting her… Do you think I can win even if the guardian couldn’t?”

“I have faith in you. But lucky for you, you even have the power of second chances if you even mess up.” Chloé doesn’t look so confident, instead laying down on the bed again and looking at the screen again. She smiles a bit when reading some comments, making Sass uneasiness about this ‘vanity search’ thing disappear.

“What is this!? This is ridiculous!” Chloé screams as she gets up looking annoyed, showing Sass the screen again. On the screen, there is a drawing of Snake Queen and Minou Malchance kissing.

“Well, I’m not really surprised about it."

Friday, September 4th

Back at school again, Nino and Adrien are chatting during an interval between classes.

“So your birthday is in just two weeks? We have to prepare something, dude!”

“I’m not sure my father would allow that… He can be a bit strict.”

“Don’t worry! Just let me talk with him, I’m sure I can make him open up to the idea.”

“I don’t know if that’s a good idea…” Adrien scratches his neck, a little worrisome about the idea.

“Look, dude, you have never had a birthday party, right? I have to try. Because it’s going to be so awesome, you’ll adore it.”

“I suppose it can’t hurt to try.”

“I haven’t told you this yet but I’m also somewhat of a DJ, so I’ll be in charge of the music.”

“I’m looking forward to that.”

“Yes! I’ll bring the best mix ever! Everyone will love it, dude, even your dad.”

“Ha! Ridiculous. We’ll see about that. There’s no way the garbage you call music is going to be of my tastes.” Chloé interjects, having heard the conversation.

“No one asked for your opinion, Chloé.” Nino looks uninterested at Chloé. “It’s not like I was planning on inviting you.”

“You may be not but of course Adrikins WAS planning on inviting me, right?” Chloé looks at Adrien with sweet eyes.

“Well, I…” Adrien is a little unsure about how to answer.

“Dude, remember what I told you? You need new friends, just tell Chloé to buzz off, she’s not worth being close with.” Nino surrounds Adrien with his arm, whispering that to him. However it’s very obvious that Chloé heard it still.

“How dare you! You know, you should be more grateful with your-!” Chloé raises her voice as she gets up, hitting the table. “With your class rep.” Stopping herself from finishing her sentence, she sits down again.

“Let’s calm down, okay!” Marinette moves from her seat to stand between Chloé and Nino. “Nino, I know Chloé did have a bad way of saying it, but she did say that she wanted to let you try, right? She is willing to listen to your music to see if she likes it.”

“Marinette, are you defending Chloé?”

“I’m just trying to not let things escalate.”

“Hey, wait a minute! I don’t need Marinothing to defend me! What kind of ridiculousness is she sprouting!?” Chloé looks irritated at Marinette.

“Come on Chloé, don't be like that.”

“Whatever. Like I said, she's not invited and that's final.”

“Wait, Nino! Please, reconsider!”

“I'm going to tell Mr. Agreste that you're no good! He will never let you near Adrien, much less go to the birthday party I will be hosting for him.”

“Chloé, wait-” Before they can continue the discussion, the teacher enters the classroom, making the discussion stop for now. Marinette goes back to her seat, gazing at Chloé and giving a worried look. When she seats back down, Alya gives her a suspicious glance.

At Collège Paul Bert, after classes have finished. Cerise Bianca is in her normal attire, also wearing a pair of glasses with a black frame and purple lenses over her head.

“I'm sorry, I have a very important business right now so I won't be able to go home with you guys.” Cerise says goodbye to her friends who she normally goes home with, and runs away to hide in an alley. She opens her bag, where Tikki is, to take a thumb ring from it and put it on. Orikko appears from the ring and fluctuates alongside Cerise. “It's time for payback, I'll show them to not pick a fight with the new superhero of Paris, Cerise Bianca! Tikki, Orikko, unify!”

“I really hate you.” Orikko comments, before being forced to transform her. Adding onto her Chancenella outfit, her hair extends a little into a short ponytail of a dark blue color looking like the feathers of a rooster. All of her black polka dots and her black gloves in both hands change color to a dark shade of blue. Her stockings become of a yellow color with some lines to look like chicken legs. Her mask becomes more prominent and acquires a yellow color on the nose to look like a beak. On her jacket appears some dark feather-shaped sections with golden accents. The glasses she was using before transforming didn’t disappear while transforming, and after finishing it, Cerise does some stretching. “I can control this unification thing a lot better now. Those girls don't stand a chance.” Cerise jumps on top of the building and without hesitation uses her yo-yo to start breaking buildings. Upon noticing the attack, the citizens run away from her while screaming.

Inside Chloé's limousine, Sabrina is giving Chloé a massage while they wait to reach home. However, when they suddenly stop, the chauffeur opens the car window.

“It seems the road has been blocked by a supervillain. We may be here for a while.”

“What!?” Chloé jumps upon hearing this.

“Don't worry, Chloé! Let's just wait here for the heroes to defeat her. I'll continue with the massage.”

“No! I, uh, don't want to wait here. That's ridiculous, I'll walk home.” Chloé opens the limousine door and runs away. 

“Hey, wait for me!” Sabrina also gets out and tries to follow her.

“No! Go home, Sabrina! I want to be alone today!” Sabrina suddenly stops on her track, with a very sad expression from what Chloé said. However, she is not there to see it.

After tracking down the source of the attack, Chloé can see her still damaging the city.

“Another akumatized villain!? Sass…!”

“No, wait!” Sass stops Chloé from transforming right away.

“What gives? We have to stop her!”

“That's not an akumatized villain. She's that Ladybug holder, and she's using two Miraculous.”

“You can do that!?”

“You can even use all of them at the same time, if you have enough discipline and training.”

“But what? Do you think I can lose against her now?”

“That's not exactly it. One of the Miraculous she's using is the Rooster Miraculous. Its power is the power of Pretension, which has the ability of copying the power of others. If she ended up copying the second chance… Yeah, I don't think you can win.” [The Rooster Miraculous is probably the most ridiculous power ever. It creates innumerous plot holes and is so busted that they nerfed it as soon as the villain could use it. However, I do get why they nerfed it, so I won’t even try to make a coherent history where there is a power that can give you any power you want with just a vague ambiguous rule about it not being a wish. Copying other powers fits well enough onto the Pretension/Sublimation concept and is more interesting to write.]

“Then… Then…”

“Let's just wait. Maybe Malchance will take care of it alone.” They wait for a couple of minutes until Malchance finally arrives. Chloé looks annoyed by the fact that she can't do anything.

“Hey! Stop these reckless attacks! Who are you? What do you even want?” Malchance confronts the mysterious villain, who is currently on top of a building.

“Oh, me? I'm Lady Uccello. I'm just breaking some things, you know. Just to lure you girls.”

“Lure us? Do you have some problem with me?”

“I have a problem with your existence. I'm going to make you disappear!” Lady Uccello throws her yo-yo against Malchance, who deflects it with her baton. However she rapidly moves for the yoyo to wrap around the baton, pushing it to disarm Malchance. She swiftly jumps herself into Lady Uccello trying to connect a punch, but she evades the attack and cuts Malchance’s arm with the rooster weapon, the Quill. Luckily, the Miraculous gives enough resistance that there isn’t any injury on Malchance's body. However, Chloé seems very anxious upon seeing her being damaged like that. [Chat Noir weapon have been described mostly as a staff, however to differentiate them and because it kind of looks more like it, I will call it a baton. Adding onto this, Butterfly Miraculous weapon is a cane and Monkey Miraculous weapon is a staff. Additionally, it does not have the ability to extend infinitely but it still is retractable.]

“Agh!” Malchance kicks Uccello’s leg, grabbing her baton back and using it to hit onto Uccello’s side, sending her onto the ground and leaving a big mark on it. Without even getting up, Uccelo throws her quill with a spin, hitting Malchance on the torso and also shoving her out of the building.

“I can’t watch this anymore! She… She’s going to take all the credit!” Chloé's expression is a very worried one, and her voice is very exalted.

“Chloé?” Sass gets closer to Chloé, worried about her tone.

“Sass, Scales Slither!” Chloé activates the transformation into Snake Queen. “Second Chance!” Having activated her power right away after transforming, she jumps right into the action, throwing her lyra onto Uccello’s yo-yo, making her fail an attack agaisn’t Malchance.

“I’m finally here to help!”

“You took your time. Do you know who this is?” Malchance backs up to join Snake Queen without letting her guard down.

“She’s Chancenella, kitty.” Snake Queen catches her lyra after it does a boomerang effect upon hitting the yo-yo.

“What!?”

“She has stolen all of the Miraculous from the guardian, but that doesn’t make her able to win against me.”

“We’ll see about that.” Lady Uccello points at Snake Queen with her Quill. “Sublimation!” The quill covers itself with a blue light.

“Be careful! She has copied my power!”

“What?!” While they look at each other surprised, Lady Uccello looks in every direction, confirming there's no one looking at their battle.

“Lucky Charm!” Immediately after confirming that fact she uses another power, the power of the Lucky Charm, which creates a frisbee.

“Ha, she is going to defeat us with that? Ridiculous.”

“No, I’m going to defeat you with this. Second Chance!” Uccello stabs softly onto the back of her left hand with the quill, and the polka dot changes form onto a moving clock that acts as a chronometer. 

“As if! You ridiculous copycat will never be able to do it justice.” Snake Queen throws the lyra onto Uccello, looking at Malchance. “No offense, kitty.” Malchance sighs, and Uccelllo blocks the lyra with the frisbee, but right after that she gets hit on the side of the head by Malchance having thrown her baton. Taking advantage of the hit, Malchance pounces onto Uccello and throws her to the ground. Before the situation gets any more complicated for her, she touches the hand of the chronometer to move it backwards. This time, after blocking the lyra she crouches to avoid the projectile, then throws the frisbee at Malchance’s feet to make her trip, but she jumps to dodge with a somersault and throws Lady into the ground, getting on top of her. Lady Uccello goes backwards in time again, throwing the frisbee at Snake Queen this time. She is unable to dodge at fasts so she trips when the frisbee hits her, and Uccello then throws her yo-yo to grab her by her left arm to make her unable to activate Second Chance.

“Cataclysm!” Malchance activates her power, destroying the yo-yo string to free Snake Queen. “Use your power, now!”

“I won’t let you.” Uccello goes backwards again, but this time before Malchance can touch the string with cataclysm she shakes the string and throws the quill onto Malchance's right leg. This causes her to trip without touching the string, instead creating a big hole on the ground, causing not only Malchance but also Lady Uccello to fall into the subway.

“She’s predicting all of our moves. She must have activated Second Chance a few times already.” Thanks to Malchance, Snake Queen has freed herself from the yo-yo, moving her hand to reach the miraculous. “It would be a shame if that progress were to be reseted.” After activating Second Chance, she jumps straight ahead into battle again, throwing her lyra onto Uccello’s yo-yo, making her fail an attack agaisn’t Malchance.

“You finally came!” Malchance backs up to join Snake Queen without letting her guard down.

“There’s no time to explain! This is my second time here, I'll explain all later.” Snake Queen catches her lyra after it does a boomerang effect upon hitting the yo-yo.

“Your second time, huh? Then that means I'm closer to winning!” Lady Uccello points at Snake Queen with her quill. “Sublimation!” The quill covers itself with a blue light.

“Prepare yourself. She has copied my power”

“What?!” While Minou turns to look at Snake Queen, Lady Uccello looks in every direction, confirming there's no one looking at their battle.

“What are you looking for?” Snake Queen questions.

“No, nothing. Lucky Charm!” Immediately after answering, Uccello tries to create a Lucky Charm.

“This is our chance, kitty!” Snake Queen runs forward with the lyra in hand, closing distance to stop her from throwing the frisbee and distract her to let Malchance attack. However, this time the Lucky Charm does not give Lady Uccello a frisbee, but a hammer. After grabbing it, Uccello does a twirl and hits Snake Queen on the head with it, who cannot evade thanks to the inertia of her impulse. 

“Snake!” Malchance screams as Snake Queen is shoved into a building by the hit. Uccello looks very smug about it, and uses this moment to stab softly onto the back of her left hand with the quill, changing the polka dot form onto a moving clock that acts as a chronometer. Right when she looks up after the stab, Malchance’s baton hits her on the side of the head. Taking advantage of the hit, Malchance pounces onto Uccello and throws her to the ground, but before the situation gets any more complicated for her, she touches the hand of the chronometer to move it backwards. Immediately after going back in time, she crouches to avoid the projectile, and throws her yo-yo in order to wrap it around Malchance's legs. She tries to jump to avoid it, but she is not fast enough as the yo-yo wraps just around her ankles.

“Take this!” Uccello then shakes her yo-yo and shoves Malchance right where she sent Snake Queen. She then runs to follow them, seeing them both almost unable to move from the impact. While Uccello approaches Malchance tries to reach for Snake Queen's wrist, but Uccello throws her yo-yo and grabs her arm to stop it from moving.

“Cataclysm…” Malchance uses her cataclysm to break free from the string. And before Uccello could react to that, Malchance uses her own hand to activate the Second Chance.

After being thrown back in time, Snake Queen takes a little time to recover, and this time she takes a walk around the area instead of jumping straight into battle, looking for an opportunity of a sneak attack upon Uccello. In this attempt, Uccello yo-yo reaches Malchance’s neck, strangling her while she tries to break free.

“Cat… Agh…” She tries to activate the Cataclysm, but the string is so tight that she can’t talk properly. Uccello applies even more strength into the string grip, to assure she won’t free herself. However, from behind her Snake Queen suddenly hits her arm and makes her drop the yo-yo, freeing Malchance. Uccello rapidly does a kick to her back, pushing Snake Queen and then turning to look and point the quill at her. “Sublimation!” The quill covers itself with a blue light. “Lucky Charm!” Uccello picks the yo-yo from the ground and after looking in every direction to confirm there’s no one looking, she uses the Lucky Charm to create an iron ball. She then stabs softly onto the back of her left hand with it, changing the polka dot form onto a moving clock that acts as a chronometer. While she was doing that, Malchance recovered her breath instantly and ran into Lady Uccello, using her baton to start choking her with it from behind. 

“Ngh…!” Uccello reaches to her left hand with the right and turns the hand of the chronometer backwards to go back in time. She then turns to look at the running Malchance, throwing the iron ball with force and hitting her on the head knocking her into the ground. She then walks and tries to pick the ball again after the ricochet, but the ball is hitted by Snake Queen’s lyra, who immediately after connects a kick into Uccello’s head, throwing her into the ground and getting on all fours on top of her to push both her arms to stop her from moving.

“I finally catched you!”

“Are you sure about that? You’re going to detransform before I do.”

“Don’t worry about that. Kitty! This is Chancenella, come here and take her Miraculous.” Snake Queen screams for Malchance, who isn’t answering. She turns her head to look at her state, and Uccello takes advantage of that single moment to kick Snake Queen on the stomach and free herself, immediately turning back the hand of the chronometer. And this time, she throws her yo-yo upwards to stop the lyra, being able to grab again the iron ball, and throwing it at Snake Queen’s stomach. She also throws her yo-yo to grab her by her left arm to make her unable to activate Second Chance. Slowly, she then walks towards Malchance without letting go of her arm.

“I’ll make you pay for this, kitty…” Snake Queen moves her right arm into her mouth. “For making me do such a humiliating thing.” She moves the snake on the bracelet back using her teeths. But this time after going back in time, she falls back on her knees. “Sass was right, we can’t win if I let her copy my power… I’ll just have to… I have to wait for the right moment, I can’t be hasty.” Without her interference, Uccello yo-yo reaches Malchance’s neck, strangling her while she tries to break free.

“Cat… Agh…” She tries to activate the Cataclysm, but the string is so tight that she can’t talk properly. Uccello applies even more strength into the string grip, to assure she won’t free herself. Snake Queen looks closely without interfering, very anxious about the result of this, but if this isn’t really enough she’ll just try another strategy.

“Ugh, when is the other girl coming?” After a while of choking Malchance, Uccello grows impatient by Snake Queen not appearing and points at Malchance with her quill. “Okay then, if she isn’t coming I’ll just deal with you first. Sublimation!” The quill covers itself with a black light, and she stabs softly onto the back of her hand who isn’t holding the yo-yo, changing the polka dot form onto a cat’s paw. “Let’s find out what happens when a human gets hit by this, okay?” She touches onto the paw, covering that hand with a black energy while she gets closer to Malchance.

“This is my chance!” Snake Queen positions herself, and right when Uccello extends her hand to touch Malchance she throws her lyra to protect her. The lyra is destroyed by the power of the cataclysm, and Uccello turns to look from where the lyra came from, unable to see anyone.

“You! Aren’t you a little late!?” Uccello looks in all directions for Snake Queen, and she suddenly appears on her back to knock over the yo-yo from her hand, jumping back to avoid the kick.

“I’m right on time, Chancenella.”

“Chancenella?” Malchance is recovering her breath after almost being knocked out.

“I’ll explain everything later, we have to take back the Miraculous from her!” Uccello crouches and picks back her yo-yo, throwing it into the air.

“Lucky Charm!” Lady Uccello activates the Lucky Charm, this time giving her a horseshoe. But right after she grabs it in her hands, Malchance touches it with her hand being covered by the cataclysm energy, destroying the Lucky Charm.

“You have been defeated, Chancenella! Give back all of your Miraculous!”

“Yes, you’re right, I have been defeated this time. However, it was not Chancenella who lost here, you dimwits. Orikko, Sunset! Tikki, Kaaki, Unify!” Uccelo’s hair changes into a large low ponytail surged from the end of her hair. Her suit now has a red color with some polka dots and some deep brown patches, and her jacket has disappeared. She also has some brown bracelets that give volume to her gloves. Her stockings now have volume and look like some long boots with small, red horseshoes on the sides of them. Downside from her chest, she has the horseshoe that the Horse Miraculous uses as a weapon. The glasses she was wearing now have transformed into a pair of black glasses. “Voyage!” A portal is created right onto the feet of Equinella, allowing her to escape the battle.

“What!? No! Come back here, you coward!” Snake Queen kicks the place where the portal has just appeared. She then reaches her bracelet with her other hand, but Malchance stops her by grabbing that hand.

“You look stressed.”

“What? I’m not, leave me alone.” She pushes her hand to free herself.

“Look, this result is pretty much okay, don’t you think? Do you seriously believe you could make a better result than this?”

“Well… I…”

“I don’t know how your other attempts were, but it must have been stressful. Let’s call it a day, okay?”

“Sure… You’re right, kitty.”

“Stop calling me that!”

After the two of them separate again and Snake Queen transformation wears off, Sass stares at Chloé.

“What? Look, okay, I didn’t follow your instructions at the start… But I did follow them later, and we basically won!”

“Yes, you did. That was impressive, however, you could have very well lost more than once in that battle.”

“Ugh, okay, okay, I get it. I’m sorry, I’ll be more careful next time.”

“Hm. That’s okay. The thing about making mistakes is that you’re willing to apologize and learn from them.”

“Sure, whatever you say. I’m exhausted, I want to go home now.” While Chloé walks away, Sass takes a second to look at all the destruction Lady Uccello caused.

“My intuition is telling me that something very bad is about to happen.”

Equinella enters La Plage from the portal she created to escape the fight.

“Tikki, Kaalki, Divide!” Cerise undoes the transformation, and takes off the Horse and Rooster Miraculous to place them inside the box again.

“It seems like you lost. Your little scheme didn't pay off? I'm glad Paris got two heroes capable enough to stop you on your tracks.” Still trapped, Fu comments while meditating.

“Shut up, old man. I may have lost this battle, but I did account for the possibility of losing in my scheme.” Cerise looks for food, giving Tikki a cookie, Kaalki an apple and Orikko a bowl of corn. “Eat, now. I'll need you again in a while. The second part of my plan is completely foolproof.” While the kwamis eat, Cerise starts looking at the Miraculous in the box. “It seems like these jewels are based on the Chinese zodiac. I'm obviously missing the snake, but why is the rabbit also missing?”

“I gave it to someone many years ago. I don't regret my decision at the time, but it did lead me to losing it.”

“What a useless guardian you are, uh? On the top lid it was my fault for losing that Bee, but there's another two missing in here. I suppose one has been stolen by Dreamfly, what about the other?”

“The Peacock Miraculous… I lose it in the same circumstances as the Butterfly. There's a chance the one who possesses the Butterfly also has it, but I can't be sure.”

“Well, whatever. Agh, I need a break.” Cerise takes off her earrings, leaving them also on the box. “Remember, kwami. You have to obey me, so don't try anything funny to escape, understood?” Tikki nods, and Cerise leaves the place for a while.

Walking home after detransforming, Marinette looks a little blue.

“I didn't have the chance to talk to Chloé after school. Ugh, I need her and Nino to make peace.”

“Why do you care so much about her?” Plagg talks with Marinette while eating a cheese piece on her bag.

“Because I want her to be able to come to the birthday party!” While saying this, Marinette fantasizes about meeting Chloé in the party.

“Didn't she used to bully you?” Plagg destroys Marinette’s bubble with reality.

“Come on, it wasn't that… Well, it was a little bad. But don't you notice that she is changing?”

“Not really, I didn't know her before. But I think you might be seeing things because of your crush.”

“Crush!? I don't… I don't have a crush on Chloé, how can I!? We're both women!”

“I do remember that being a problem some years ago. But I didn't really get why, and after seeing those girls in your class I thought you humans have changed that.”

“Those girls? You mean Rose and Juleka? They're just close friends.”

“Aha. Well, do what you feel like doing, I don't really mind.”

Two hours after that, Equitale appears in another building in Paris.

“Kaalki, Dismount” Cerise deactivates the Horse transformation. She is wearing multiple Miraculous right now, all of them will be useful to her plan. Besides the Horse, the ones she is using are: Ladybug, Mouse, Fox, Rooster, Ox and Monkey. “This time for sure I'll win. Mullo, Stompp, Unify!” Cerise’s outfit becomes a light gray closed jacket with some dark blue lines. Her hair is mostly covered by the jacket’s hoodie, which has both bull horns and mouse ears. On her face there's a mask with the same color palette as the rest of her attire. Underneath the jacket, there's a skirt of the same color as the jacket, and around her waist over the skirt there's a skip rope that acts as the mouse tail. Down her waist she's seemingly using some dark gray leggins and some large detailed boots with pink soles. On her hand she's holding the Ox weapon, the Hammer. “Multitude!” After finishing the transformation she activates her power, making all of her body glow with a pink color and divide herself onto eight smaller copies. [Another inconsistency of the show comes from the handling of Multitude. When Multimouse uses it it does not multiply Miraculous that are not active. This is broken in the Paris special since Monarch could multiply Miraculous that are not active. Probably not many people even knew this but I feel the need to clarify that I will be using the original version. You can only multiply Miraculous if they're active alongside the Mouse one.]

Tantitauro gives the Fox and the Rooster Miraculous to two of the clones.

“Stompp, give way! Mullo, Trixx, Unify!” The bull characteristics disappear from her clothing, changing the blue and dark gray tones into orange ones. Her long detailed boots convert into more simple without volume orange ones with some pink details. The ears on the hoodie transform into fox ears.

“Stompp, give way! Mullo, Orikko, Unify!” The bull characteristics disappear from her clothing changing the blue and dark gray tones into blue ones, and a symbol of a mouse appears on her chest. Her long detailed boots convert into more simple without volume red ones with some pink details and a feather on each side. Her mask acquires a yellow color on the nose to look like a beak. Her hoodie backs down, revealing a similar hairstyle to Lady Uccello.

When the clones divide Stompp from their transformation, the copy of his Miraculous turns into a blue light that goes to the original. Tantigallo, the mouse and rooster fusion, points at the fox fusion with the quill. “Sublimation!” The quill covers itself with an orange light, and she stabs softly onto the symbol on her chest, making it change form onto a fox tail. Tantigallo touches the symbol with her finger, creating an orange ball on her hand and throwing it into the streets. The ball transforms itself into a copy of Lady Uccello.

“It’s time for round two, Snake Queen!” Says Lady Uccello, making the various people on the street to start running away from her.

Tantivolpe, the mouse and fox fusion, starts playing the flute to create a ball of orange energy and then nods to the main Cerise.

“It is time. Termination!” One of the clones activates the power of the Ox, that makes the user never miss the target when throwing something. One of Tantitauro copies uses this to strike a building with the hammer at the same time the illusion of Lady Uccello pretends to hit it with the yo-yo. That copy then removes their Mouse miraculous, her body, her two Miraculous and the hammer thrown become pink lights that goes to the original. [Resistance, the original Ox power, has to my opinion not very much relation to the concept of the Miraculous. It’s not like it’s a bad power to have or it’s to OP, but being honest I changed it because of the Pig. I gave a very similar effect to the new power of Pig Miraculous (since Gift is either super situational or a win condition depending on whatever effect the writers end up deciding on) and gave this new one to the Ox Miraculous, which I think fits a little better into the Determination concept.]

“They’re never gonna see this coming.”

After some minutes have elapsed, Snake Queen is watching Lady Uccello from a safe distance for her to not notice, and shortly after, Minou Malchance joins her.

“She again? I really hope her hobby isn’t ruining our day.” Malchance comments upon seeing Lady Uccello, who is just standing while looking to her sides.

“We need to take her Miraculouses. She is only using two of all the ones she has, so we need to start taking some of them.”

“I agree, the faster we defeat her, the faster we can focus on only one supervillain. It would be even easier if we could use some of those powers.”

“Okay, we need a better strategy than last time. I cannot appear until the Rooster power is dealt with, or she could copy mine and turn the situation upon us.”

“I’ll try to take it from her.”

“Is that really gonna work?” A new voice talks from behind them.

“What?” Both girls talk at unison and turn to see another girl standing there.

“Good afternoon. I am Volpina.” A girl with long brown hair and an orange jumpsuit is behind them, with a collar in her neck.

“Volpi- Who?” Snake Queen says, while Minou Malchance raíces her guard upon the mysterious girl.

“I’m a descendant of an ancient hero. He was once the holder of the Fox Miraculous, and it has been my family responsibility to be the guardians of this Miraculous.”

“We are not going to fall for that, right?” Snake Queen gets up and lies on Malchance’s shoulder.

“Fall for what? I don’t think I follow.”

“You’re obviously Chancenella! Right, kitty?” She turns her head at Malchance for validation.

“I don’t know… I mean, isn’t she over there?” Malchance points at Lady Uccello.

“Well, you’re right, but… Wel, you still can be her ally. She just gave you a Miraculous to make you betray us at the right moment!”

“I really inherited this from my parents! I’m being serious here, I haven’t even talked to Chancenella. You inspired me so much that I just had to come help you girls! Please, just let me! I won’t betray you, I promise!”

“Oh, so you have been inspired by my heroism? Well, I can’t blame you.” Snake Queens stops using Malchance's shoulder to rest and does a pose that denotes her elegance.

“Well, I do appreciate that, but I don’t know if we can really trust your history.” Malchance isn’t so convinced about this.

“How can you trust each other, then? Ah, I’m not trying to make trouble between you two, I just want you girls to be able to trust me too! Do you perhaps know each other's identity?”

“Well, no…” Malchance answer.

“Then, how are you so sure she isn’t the one working for Chancenella? The same goes for you, Snake Queen.”

“Kitty here hates her guts, she would never work with her. Besides, my kwami corroborated her story.”

“For me… I guess it’s just blind trust? I don’t see her betraying me. We’ve spent little time together until now but it has been really meaningful.”

“Uh!? Hey, what kind of ridiculousness are you sprouting!?” Snake Queen has blushed upon hearing those words, turning to look at Malchance with an annoyed look.

“I… See. Well, I really can’t offer any assurance that I won’t betray you, but if you just let me help… We could be a great team!”

“I…” Malchance isn’t still so sure, but Snake Queen interjects before she finishes.

“Okay, then. You’ll be on probation for now.”

“Hey, you can’t just…”

“Come on, kitty. Have a little faith in her. I’ll activate my power now, if she betrays us I’ll go back and warn us.”

“I’m still worried about the little chance that you can’t do that.”

“I won’t be going directly into battle, I’ll be okay. Maybe she really is another ally! This could make a difference.”

“I guess you’re right… Volpina, what’s your power?”

“Do you know the Flautist of Hamelin? That book was based on my ancestor. I can control people or animals for a while when I play the flute.”

“That sounds very useful… Okay, we can do this!” Feeling hopeful, she turns to look at Lady Uccello. “She’s still not doing anything… Waiting for us, I guess.”

“If anything strange happens I’ll let you know. Second Chance!” Moving the snake in the bracelet, she sets the point in time to go back to.

“Let's go, Volpina!” Malchance jumps down, followed by Volpina while Snake Queen stays on the building to watch the battle discreetly. “Chancenella! Are you gonna make these visits an occasional thing?”

“My name is Lady Uccello, thank you very much. I see you’ve found a new partner? Well, I don’t really care. I’m sorry for ruining this lovely afternoon, but I don’t plan on having to repeat this since I’m gonna win this time!” She throws her quill onto Malchance, however, the aim is not very precise since Malchance can easily dodge it with just a sidestep.

“Are you tired from our last battle, perhaps?” Malchance rushes with her baton on hand, extending it on the moment to hit Uccello. But somehow, she is able to dodge it. “What? That should have connected.” And instead of using the chance to give a close ranged attack, she jumps to gain distance and attacks with a predictable movement of the yo-yo. Malchance obviously evades the attack, and the car that the yo-yo hits is broken at the same time it connects with the yo-yo.

“You can’t dodge forever!” From behind Lady Uccello, Volpina hits her nape with a swing of the flute, shoving her into another building that also gets destroyed by the impact.

“Hey! Be a little more careful! We can’t be destroying the city like that!”

“I’m sorry, Minou!” Volpina apologizes. “Let’s win this already! Marionette!” Volpina flute starts shining and then she starts playing it, seemingly starting to be able to control Lady Uccello’s body.

“Good one, I’ll take her Miraculous!” Malchance runs towards Lady Uccello, but when she tries to take her thumb ring she jumps to dodge. “Hey, I thought you had her under control!”

“I’m sorry! This is not foolproof, she can resist with enough will.”

“But don’t stop playing!” Taking advantage of the moment where Volpina stopped playing, Uccello attacks at the flute with her Yo-yo, breaking it in two pieces.

“Oh, no! I’m sorry!” Malchance tries to connect another attack with the baton, but Lady Uccello does another impossible jump to dodge and attacks with the Yo-yo where Malchance should be before she dodges the attack again, however the floor suffers significant damage. When she lands on the floor she does a swing with the yo-yo to try and attack both of them, but Malchance and Volpina can easily dodge with a jump, however the attack does connect into another car breaking it.

“Hey, are you not gonna use any of your powers?”

“As if! Bring Snake Queen here and we’ll talk about that. I won’t fall for the same trick again.”

“Is that so?” Malchance lunges into Uccello with an attack of the baton, but she jumps straight into a building roof to avoid it. Volpina throws one of the pieces of her flute that hits Lady Uccello’s head and makes her attack again with her Yo-Yo, to which Volpina dodges again and causes a mark on the floor.

“This is getting boring, you know?” Lady Uccello plays a bit with her yo-yo, taunting Malchance and Volpina.

“What? What do you mean?” Malchance answers, a little annoyed.

“Is your friend really not gonna show up?”

“But of course she isn’t! Do you take us for dumb?”

“A little, yeah. But then, if she really is not gonna come… I’ll have to think of another strategy. Orikko, Sunset! Tikki, Kaaki, Unify!” Lady Uccello changes forms onto Equinella again. “Voyage!” Opening a portal, Equinella flees from the battlefield once again.

“No! Dang it, she escaped us…” Volpina runs towards Malchance, lamenting letting her escape. Snake Queen then jumps down from the building.

“Hey, what should I do?” Snake Queen asks in regards to her Second Chance.

“What can we do differently to get another outcome?” Asks Volpina

“Perhaps if you don’t stop playing the flute!” Remarks Snake Queen.

“I’m sorry about that…”

“No, this outcome is good enough.” Says Malchance with determination.

“Are you sure? We really could try another strategy.”

“Yes, trust me. It’s better this way.”

“Then, I guess this is a win?” Volpina says, smiling at both Malchance and Snake Queen.

“Yeah, sure.” Says Malchance, still a bit suspicious and thinking things in her head.

“So, welcome to the team, eh?” Snake Queen offers Volpina her hand.

“Yeah, thanks. We can go without the handshake, can we?”

“I guess so. Well, let’s break away, I expect to see you here next time there’s a villain.” Snake Queen turns, preparing to go away.

“Wait! If we’re a team now, aren’t we gonna reveal our identities to each other?” Volpina stops Snake Queen from leaving by saying that.

“Uh… Are we?” Snake Queen seems unsure about the idea, looking at Malchance, who is busy thinking.

“If we do, we’d be able to work together more efficiently. We could call each other so we'd be ready to stop threats faster. There will be more trust between us, and we could shut off a villain trying to disguise themselves as us.” Volpina explains all of the advantages of revealing each other's identity.

“You have a point, I guess. But…” Snake Queen is still waiting for Malchance to shut away the idea, but she’s still seemingly not putting any attention into the conversation.

“I’ll start, okay? This way you’ll be able to trust me more easily.” Volpina deactivates her transformation, revealing herself to be some teenage girl with long brown hair and wearing a white dress. “I’m Colette Garnier. It’s gonna be a pleasure to work with you.”

“Oh, uhm… Hello. I guess it’s my turn, then.” Snake Queen looks at her bracelet, there still a little more than two minutes left. She is a little insecure about doing it, so she shuts down for about 10 seconds. “Sass-”

“Wait. I think I got it.” Malchance approaches Colette, extending her hand into her face, but she suddenly retreats to evade her.

“What are you doing, Minou?”

“I realized something. Neither you nor Chancenella were touched by anyone aside from yourselves.”

“What are you saying?” Without letting her say more, Malchances does a rapid swing with her baton that Colette cannot dodge, and the illusion created by the Fox Miraculous wears off.

“What!?” Snake Queen looks shocked at what just transpired.

“They were both illusions. Snake, go back and warn me about this.”

“If you’re going to abbreviate my name, I prefer to be called Queen, kitty.” While moving her hand to reach the bracelet, she suddenly gets hit on her back by a thrust. When both of them look to see what happened, they see that Snake Queen got hit by Chanscimmia’s staff.

“What!? And who are you!?” Malchance suddenly goes onto a fighting stance while jumping to gain distance.

“It must be… Chancenella. It’s just another… Miraculous.” Comments Snake Queen, while feeling dizzy.

“I’m Chanscimmia. I didn’t expect you girls to be able to discover my illusion. Well, it’s not like I put that much effort on it.”

“Ridiculous… I won’t even bother with you…” She tries to reach for her bracelet, but after moving the snake backwards, instead of going back in time, a kazoo sound effect plays.

“What?” Malchance doesn’t understand what just happened, but feels that something is wrong. Snake Queen falls into the ground because of the dizziness, and she rushes to grab her before she hits the ground.

“This is the power of the Monkey Miraculous. You won’t be able to go back in time now. If you don’t mind, I’ll be taking your miraculous now.” Chanscimmia tries to grab the bracelet on Snake Queen's wrist, but Malchance slightly walks away to avoid it.

“Cataclysm!” Malchance activates her cataclysm and points her hand at Chanscimmia while holding Snake Queen with the other. “Try to do that again and… I guess we’ll find out what happens if a human gets hit by one of these.”

“Do you really think that’s a threat to me? Don’t you know that adults are capable of using their power more than once?” Not letting herself be intimidated, she points at Malchance with the staff.

“I didn’t know that, but… Well, are you an adult?” The confident smile on Chanscimmia's face disappears when Minou doesn’t fall for her bluff.

“You think you’re such a smart girl, don’t you, kitty? But if you were so smart you'd notice that you’re gonna detransform before me, since I haven’t used my Lucky Charm. I’ll just wait for you girls to reveal your identities to me, it’s your choice to make this easier for the both of us. Maybe I could even promise to leave you alone after taking your Miraculous.” She begins smiling again, while Malchance sweats and debates internally what she can do in this situation. After almost a minute of silence, Malchance swiftly moves her hand into the ground, opening a big hole below her with her cataclysm. Immediately after falling into the subway of Paris, Malchance began running as fast as she could while carrying Snake Queen. On the surface, the big layer of dust created by the cataclysm had made Chanscimmia unable to persecute her. Very annoyed at the fact that this time it was them who escaped her grasp, she kicked the ground.

“Well, at least she hadn’t noticed this bluff.” Chancenella grabs something that she attached onto her back with the yo-yo, a reporter microphone. “Didn’t think I’d have to rely on Plan B.” She tries to look at the end of the hole to see if she can find them anywhere, but they’re long gone. “They are more troublesome than I thought. But I show them how stubborn I can really be… I swear I’ll make you pay for stealing the spotlight.” Chanscimmia leaves the place, working on preparing the last part of her scheme.

Malchance runs in the subway while carrying Snake Queen, who is on the verge of transforming back into a civilian. After running on the train rails for a while, she jumps to the platform upon reaching it and rushes towards the girls bathroom and shoves Snake Queen into a stall just before the time runs out. Snake Queen transforms back into Chloé, and starts catching back her breath after locking the door.

“Hey… Wasn’t she kind of right? Yeah, she was trying to fool us. But it would be better if we knew each other's identity, right? I don’t mind revealing myself. I have a little time before transforming back. If you open the door, I’ll show you.”

Chloé stays silent inside of the door, thinking about what could happen if she opens that door. For a second, she puts her hand on the stall lock to open it. But just then… She remembers what happened back at school, and her hand becomes unable to unlock it. She then hears a beep coming from Malchance’s ring, and she walks away from the bathroom. Sass looks at how distressed Chloé is right now, and waits for her to calm down before talking, however, she takes the lead in doing so.

“I can’t show myself to her, can I? She would hate me if she knew the real me like everyone else, and I don’t want that.”

“That’s not true, Chloé. Not everyone hates you.”

“Sabrina… Well, she… She’s probably just scared of me. I doubt she really likes me.”

“What about Marinette?”

“Marinette?” Chloé thinks about it for a while, and it is true that she protected her today. “There’s no way. Of course she hates me after everything I did. She’s probably just making fun of me.”

“You have more complex feelings than I thought. You should probably explain yourself correctly to Nino.”

“... You’re right. Maybe I’ll do that. But it won’t do anything to change their opinion of me.”

“You’re changing, Chloé. My intuition says you’ll be okay.” Chloé is slowly calming herself thanks to Sass, and with that she finally leaves the stall.

“I’m okay now, thanks, Sass.”

“Good. We can talk about business now. There’s no telling when Chancenella will attack again. I messed up by not telling all the powers that she could use, but I just thought it would be too much information for you to remember all in one sitting.”

“Hey! Well, I can’t blame you.”

“I’ll tell you about all the Miraculous she has. Please pay attention to it.” Chloé nods, very determined to not let her win.

Very worn off, Marinette reaches her house and throws herself on bed.

“Ugh, this day was so tiresome… I really hope this doesn’t become routine.”

“I hope so too. Less work is equal to more cheese!” Says Plagg as he eats his piece of cheese.

“You could have helped me a little, couldn’t you?”

“Helped you with what?”

“You could have told me about all the powers she had!”

“Sorry, I don’t really remember all those things. My head is full of cheese.”

“Yeah, I noticed.”

“You could ask Sass! He’s Snake Queen kwami, and he probably remembers all the details about the others' power.”

“I’ll try to remember it.”

“Marinette!” Marinette’s father, Tom, calls her from the floor below.

“Ugh… Coming!” Answers Marinette, going down the stairs. After going down into the living room however something on TV catches her attention.

“After an anonymous call from a citizen, we could record the last part of a fierce battle between Lady Uccello and Chancenella.” As Nadja Chamak talks, a video is played at her left illustrating that battle. The video shows how Chancenella removed the thumb ring from Lady Uccello, making her deakumatized and going back into her civilian form, Colette Garnier. Chancenella then breaks the thumb ring and captures the akuma before throwing her Lucky Charm to use the Miraculous Chancenella and fix the damages of the fight she had against Malchance. “After this, I could even get an interview with Chancenella herself, explaining all the details on why she had disappeared until now. Production, play the video.” The video starts playing, showing Chancenella with a melancholic look while talking in a sad tone.

“My family is very poor… But even then, my abilities and efforts have led me into obtaining this wonderful power to myself. And even if I wanted to use it for good, I have to pass all of my time working to support my father and mother, who are very ill. That was my motive for asking for money, so that I could stop working and be a full-time hero. However, Snake Queen and Minou Malchance have shown me that true heroes don’t ask for that kind of thing, and I’m so sorry about doing it in the first place. However, since I can’t leave my parents alone, I won’t be able to partake in battles with the two of them that much. I’m sorry about this, since when I’m not involved I can’t repair the damage done to the city, but I hope you understand my motives.” The video stops there.

“Because of this interview, in social media various users have started a campaign to get the Mayor into giving a salary to Chancenella. This is not only done out of sympathy for her situation, but because her ability of repairing the damages brought by the villains is something that both Snake Queen and Minou Malchance are lacking, but it could spare some costs onto the French government and help people who lost their properties during an akuma attack. The mayor still hasn't made a statement about this, but some important politicians are already pressuring him to take the deal.”

“What? What is… This?” Marinette is extremely shocked after watching the news. She cannot believe what she just heard. Whas this part of Chancenella's plan all along? She thinks. Could they have avoided this situation somehow? Thanks to this, she has all of the public support and they not only can’t fight against her without receiving backlash, but they’re gonna have to endure Chancenella obstructing them whenever they fight.

“She’s such a hard-working girl, isn’t she? Just like you… I hope the mayor hires her, she really looks like she needs it.” Sabine says, since it was her who was watching the TV all along. 

“Yeah… I hope so…” Answers Marinette, with a nervous smile.

When the night falls upon Paris, Marinette has long gone to sleep after doing a delivery for her father. It was a long day, so this is understandable. But suddenly, while she is still asleep, something opens the trapdoor to the balcony. Some steps can be heard, but nothing can be seen inside of the room. The ring in Marinette’s hand starts to slowly be removed by an invisible being, but the ring is a little thigh to remove that easily. It is only after some seconds that Plagg wakes up, noticing how something is trying to remove the ring.

“Marinette! Marinette! Wake up, now! Your ring!” Plagg starts screaming in Marinette’s ear for her to wake up, and as she does, the invisible thing has finally removed the ring. Marinette notices this and quickly goes into focused mode, kicking the place where the ring is seemingly floating. Marinette feels how she kicks some type of hand, and the ring goes flying into the air. Plagg grabs the ring and gives it to Marinette after she jumps from the bed.

“Plagg, Claws Out!” Marinette transforms into Minou Malchance, and after doing so and drawing out the baton she suddenly hears some loud steps that seemingly go out into the balcony again. “Hey! Don’t run!” Malchance tries to follow the invisible thing instantly, but her parents open the trapdoor into her room worried by the noise.

“Marinette? Is everything okay?” Says Tom.

“Malchance? What are you doing here? Where is our daughter?” Says Sabine after seeing Malchance.

“Ah! Well, you know… A villain entered her and kidnapped your daughter! But don’t worry, I’m on the case!”

“Thank god…” Says Tom, relieved.

“I’m going to save her now, okay?” Malchance uses the trapdoor to the balcony to escape the room. She tries to search for some clue about the thing she’s pursuing, but obviously she can’t find anything, so she decides to just take a walk in the city’s roofscape waiting to see something. “I need to tell Snake Queen about this… Agh, such a shame we don’t really know each other.” After a while of not finding anything worth noting, she decides to go home for the night. She detransforms and rings her house, being received by her parents and having to make up a story about the villain who kidnapped her. Once again in her room, she sits on the bed unable to sleep.

Saturday, September 5th

After the sun rises and a reasonable hour comes, Marinette makes up an excuse to her parents about going to meet a friend in order to go out, transform again into Minou Malchance and start patrolling the city in search of the villain or in order for Snake Queen to notice her.

In the Agreste Mansion, inside of Gabriel’s atelier. Gabriel hears two knocks, but they’re not coming from the door.

“Aracninvisible, you’re back.” Gabriel walks to the location from where the knocks came from. “Where are they? You didn’t bring the Miraculous with you!? What a useless creation. If you’re back, that means she has noticed you. Go into full assault mode, then. Steal their Miraculous with sheer force!” Some steps can be heard going out of the window. [Time for a little explanation. In Miraculous, the Peacock Miraculous is probably a better version than the Butterfly, since you can also give them any power and form you want, seemingly being no limit to your creations powers. Mayura could literally create a copy of Ladybug with a Lucky Charm, Shadow Moth created Lighteye who stopped people from being able to move, Feast could track down Miraculous (wait a minute why did gabriel didn’t just use this), Reflekdoll could transform people into Reflekta, and he LITERALLY CREATED SENTIBUBBLER, A COPY OF THE BUBBLER. Anyway, here sentimonsters don’t have special abilities nor magic, so any power they could have must be explained in a biological way (I will not pretend they’re perfect explanations, but I will try to give ones that at least sounds plausible, like with this one which you’ll see later). This still lets you create a perfect copy of another human like Sentialec, but if you created a Senti-Malchance it will not be able to use Cataclysm. Now the Peacock Miraculous is different enough and can be used in a completely different manner than the Butterfly one.]

Snake Queen meets up with Minou Malchance after Chloé notices her and transforms.

“Finally! I have something very important to tell you.” Malchance seems relieved upon seeing Snake Queen.

“I also need to tell you something. Chancenella is going to be more of a pain in the butt than before, so I should tell you about all of her Miraculous.”

“Oh, that seems useful… But there’s something more important right now! Well, first things first… Plagg told me our phones fuse with our weapons when we transform, so we can use our weapons as a phone. Look at this.” Malchance opens her baton into a phone, showing Snake Queen her number.

“Oh, let me try that.” Snake Queen looks at her lyra all over, and finds a detachable piece that can be used as an earpiece. After that, she finds a screen and shows Malchance her number. Both of them write down each other's number, and Malchance starts talking.

“Something invisible tried to steal my Miraculous while I was sleeping.”

“Steal it!?”

“Yeah, I don’t know… Does Chancenella have a power like that?”

“No, I don’t think she does…”

“It must be an akuma, then.”

“That means you’re in danger! Dreamfly knows your identity!”

“Yeah. I don’t really know what to do about that… He must have followed me from our last fight into my house.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll… I’ll protect you, kitty!” Snake Queen blushes after saying that.

“Stop calling me that… We could do that, but we’ll have to share our identities.”

“Well, maybe-” Before she finishes that sentence, something punches Malchance and launches her outside of the roof. “What!?” Snake Queen attacks with her lyra at the location from where the punch came from, but the attacker’s step can be heard following Malchance. “Hey, leave her alone, you bully!” Snake Queens follows Aracninvisible and Malchance.

In the Agreste Mansion, in Adrien’s room. The fight between Malchance, Snake Queen and the invisible creature has been going on for a while, and a news channel is already reporting on the fight.

“What is happening? You said that Lady Uccello was using another Miraculous, is this also the power of a Miraculous?” Aeries is watching the news reporting about the fight, and asks Nooroo to explain what that invisible enemy is.

“That’s not exactly another Miraculous power… If it’s not an akumatized villain, it can only be an Amok.” Explains Nooroo.

“A Amok?” 

“Amokization is the power of the Peacock Miraculous, one that is similar to yours, but instead of transforming other peoples into villains, it uses the emotions of the user to create a sentimonster.”

“The Peacock Miraculous?” Adrien thinks about that specific phrase, and gets a flashback to when he opened his father’s safe. “Isn’t that one in my father’s study too!?”

“I believe so.”

“Then the one who created this sentimonster…”

“It’s probably your father, yes.”

“He wants to steal the Miraculous from Minou Malchance and Chancenella… Can they stop it?”

“I don’t think so… It’s possible to kill the sentimonster, but they’re having a tough time fighting it for its invisibility. The other option would be to destroy the amokized object, but it should be in the hands of your father.”

“Then there’s no way for them to win… But I can’t let my father take their Miraculous! I know he wants to revive mother! I can’t let that happen!” Adrien seems to build some courage off from the idea.

“Then are you gonna fight him?”

“No, I… I can’t do that…” All the courage in Adrien suddenly disappears. “He could easily stop me from saving mom. But even if I can’t fight him directly, I could stop his plans. Nooroo, Metamorphosis!” With the idea of helping stop his father’s plan, Adrien transforms into Dreamfly. “They’re having a hard time because they can’t see the monster… I have to do something against that. An invisible monster… How is that even possible in the first place… Chameleons look like they are invisible under certain circumstances because they can alter their chromatophores… But it doesn’t seem like it’s doing something like that. But it’s a creature created by magic… Could it be that they have special chromatophores that reflect all light colors? But if that is the explanation, it should either be unable to use its eyes or they should be visible… Wait, no, there’s another possibility. If it just doesn’t use its eyes to see… Echolocation! He’s probably using some undetectable frequency sound to analyze its surroundings. I think I know what I have to do.” Dreamfly charges his cane with some kind of magic onto the lid on top, opening it after some seconds to free a white magical butterfly. “Go, Kamiko! Bring hope into Nino Lahiffe’s heart!” The Kamiko flies away from Adrien’s room, going straight into Nino’s house thanks to him having said his address to Adrien once.

The Kamiko goes directly looking for him, and once it locates Nino in his room listening to music it enters his headphones.

“Nino Lahiffe, my name is Dreamfly.”

“Wow, wow, wow, dude! What are you doing in my head!? I’m not going to become a supervillain!”

“I’m not here for that. Today, I’m not here to try and make you into a supervillain.”

“What? Then what do you want?”

“I need your help. Or rather, Snake Queen and Minou Malchance need it.”

“Aren’t they your enemies?”

“I guess so. But my heart doesn’t have any negative feelings towards them. I have my motives to do what I do, and I understand they have theirs. It would normally be my pleasure for them to be defeated, but not in this case, since the person to defeat them has motives that contradicts my own.”

“That was so difficult to follow, dude. Could you resume what you need me to do?”

“You dream of being a DJ and bringing people happiness with your music, isn’t that right? I’m going to give you the power to do so, and with that power, you’re gonna defeat the invisible creature that Snake Queen is fighting.”

“That sounds awesome, dude! Let’s do it! I’m going to be known as…” The moment Nino accepts, he starts being kamikotized. His skin becomes blue, and he gains a red hoodie to cover his head and headphones. Over his eyes, replacing his glasses, were blue visors, and his eyes were brilliant cerulean. His attire becomes a red jumpsuit with some CD symbols in places like his back and his chest. As the last detail, he also has a pair of yellow elbow sleeves. “Sound Shock!”

Minou Malchance and Snake Queen are back-to-back trying to cover for possible attacks from the invisible creature, while Snake Queen is holding a painting cube. The surroundings of the city have been mostly destroyed by the monster’s attack, and nothing they have done has even brought them closer to victory, but this is going to change now. Suddenly, Malchance blocks an attack with her baton.

“Now, now!” Malchance screams, and Snake Queens throws the paint into where the creature should have been, but the paint only reaches the ground and some of Malchance’s clothing.

“Ugh! This is ridiculous! That creature is so fast!” Screams Snake Queen, stressed.

“Don’t despair, we still have some ideas!”

“At least I appreciate your enthusiasm, kitty.”

“Hey! I heard you needed some help, girls!” Sound Shock falls from the sky and does a heroic pose in the distance.

“And who is that, exactly?” Comments Snake Queen.

“Another illusion, Chancenella!? We’re not in the mood for this!”

“Calm down, dudettes! I’m here to help. I’m Sound Shock!”

“Sound Shock…? He doesn’t look like a Miraculous holder.” Says Snake Queen. “Is he maybe an akumatized villain?”

“No, that can’t be. We’re fighting the akumatized villain right now, he must be an illusion.” The Akumatization mask appears on Sound Shock again.

“Uh, I’m kind of in a call with Dreamfly right now, okay? But calm down, he is here to help.”

“Help? What nonsense are you saying?” Snake Queen looks at Malchance with a confused face after saying that.

“Dreamfly…? He is here to help us?” Malchance’s face is full of shock, and it seems like she had lowered her guard and didn’t notice Snake Queen.

“Yeah, he says… That creature is a creation of the Peacock Miraculous, it’s a sentimonster.”

“A sentimonster? Have you heard about that, Snake Queen?”

“Sass did tell me something about the Peacock Miraculous, but he said that it has been lost.”

“So someone found it and is targeting us with it? Ugh, great! Another villain to take care of!? Oh, I’m not talking about you, Dreamfly!”

“Yes you are?” Says Snake Queen, confused about the sudden change in attitude. Suddenly, the invisible creature takes advantage of Malchance’s sudden lower guard and throws her into the ground.

“Hey! Leave her alone!” Snake Queen hits Aracninvisible with the lyra on the back, and then Sound Shock kicks it on the side of its head. Some steps of the creature fleeing can be heard.

“Thanks, Dreamfly…” Says Malchance while getting up from being knocked down.

“Eh… I’m Sound Shock, dude.”

“Ah, sorry. Talking about Dreamfly, didn’t you say he is here to help us? Has he changed sides or something like that?”

“No, not exactly? Well, yes? It’s a bit more complex than that. He said something about not wanting the creator of that creature to win, so he wants to help you girls win. I also want you to win, so he offered me powers to help you!”

“Do you know Dreamfly?” Asks Malchance, but not in a professional way.

“No, not really.”

“Then how can you trust him? The other day he was trying to destroy the city for no actual reason! Since you can contact him, can he explain himself?” Comments Snake Queen, probably a little angry from yesterday's events.

“He says that he cannot. But if he were to explain his motives, you would not like them. But he says they are important to him, and are noble ones. He is not gonna stop fighting you after this if you still get on his way.”

“What a coward.” Says Snake Queen.

“He has his own reasons, uh… Who knows, if they’re noble ones maybe we could understand each other. I could try, at least!”

“Kitty, please, I don’t know what has gotten into you, but be professional here.”

“What? Ugh, fine. He says that he would love not having to fight you girls, especially you, Queen.”

“What?” Both Snake Queen and Minou Malchance say that in unison.

“But again, he insists he cannot disclose his reasons, nor can he stop. So it would depend on you girls.”

“Maybe he has some great motive for doing all of this?” Malchance looks at Snake Queen, trying to convince her.

“Malchance! Be serious here!” 

“Okay, okay… We reject the offer.”

“He says it’s a shame. But at least we can join arms in this conflict, to defeat the invisible creature. Okay, can we stop this chit chat and get into some action?”

“I agree with that. Second Chance!” Snake Queen goes back into a combat pose, activating her power.

“Okay, let’s see…” Sound Shock touches Snake Queen and Minou Malchance chest area, drawing out a pair of CDs from them.

“Hey, what gives!” Snake Queen walks away from him after he does that. 

“I call this…” Sound Shock throws the CD he got from Malchance into the air. “Baking character, baking love!” The CD starts floating and expelling sound waves from it. “And I call this one…” Then, he throws the CD he got from Snake Queen. “Fluctuating gold!” The CD also expels sound waves like the other.

“What are we gonna do with those?” Malchance asks, a little confused.

“Dreamfly told me they could stop the creature.”

“Stop it? But how… Ah! The creature must be using echolocation, of course! He is so smart!”

“Yeah, yeah, we get it! Let’s deal with this already. We have to find it first. But this is going to be fast.” All of them search in all directions, being on guard for a sudden attack. After some time being on guard, a car is thrown onto them, which Malchance stops with her baton, but it’s then followed by a hit on her side that launches her into a building. Sound Shock points the CDs in the direction where the punch has come from.

“Do you think I got it?” Snake Queen walks and tries to touch that area.

“No, you didn’t.” Upon confirming that, Snake Queen goes back in time.

“Okay, let’s see…” Sound Shock touches Snake Queen and Minou Malchance chest area, drawing out a pair of CDs from them.

“I call this…” Sound Shock throws the CD he got from Malchance into the air.

“Okay, you don’t need to say the names again, let’s move.”

“Hey, don’t ruin my moment! What do you mean again?” He then throws the other CD, activating them both.

“Have you activated your power?”

“Yeah, I think I got this. He is going to throw a car into us, you have to block it, kitty. Then, Sound Shock, point your CDs at her left, okay?”

“Sounds easy enough!” After some time being on guard, a car is thrown onto them, which Malchance stops with her baton, and Sound Shock does as he’s told and points the CDs sound wave to Malchance’s left side.

“Do you think I got it?” Snake Queen walks and tries to touch that area.

“Yes! He’s here!” Snake Queen backs off to avoid a punch from the creature, then throws more paint into it, becoming now finally able to locate it no matter what. The creature is still trying to move randomly even if his echolocation cannot be used correctly, so Sound Shock must control its CDs and make sure that it doesn’t escape the sound prison.

“Woohoo! Awesome!” Malchance jumps into the air, excited about finally getting a victory after a while.

“Okay, what do we do with it now?” Asks Snake Queen.

“Dreamfly says that there’s nothing we can really do. In order to make it disappear, you would need to destroy the… Amokized object? But since the amokized object is probably with the user, there’s nothing you could do. We either kill it or throw it into a prison.”

“What!? I don’t want to kill it!” Retorts Malchance.

“Since the Peacock Miraculous can only create one sentimonster at a time, if we trap it the user would have to eventually destroy them to create another one.”

“Let me call for the police, then. They’re better suited for something like this.” Malchance opens her baton and dials for the police with her baton. After a while, various cars and agents from the Paris Police Prefecture reach the area, closing the zone and preparing to transport the creature in a highly resistant containment cell. After the creature has been contained, Sound Shock turns back into being Nino, and the butterfly goes away.

“Nino!?” Both Snake Queen and Malchance are shocked at the revelation, but before they can even process they notice how the creature hits the cell, but it doesn’t seem to be enough to break it.

“Don't worry, lads. This beast is highly secured!” The one who reassures them is Roger, one of the officers. “We just have to hold into it for a while, right?”

“Yes, please.” Says Malchance.

“No worries! Thank for your protection, girls.” Roger goes back with the other officers.

“I need to go now, I’m close to detransforming.”

“Okay. I sincerely hope we can rest for a while after this…”

Snake Queen runs away from the scene, transforming back into her civilian form after hiding herself inside of a phone booth. While still inside of the booth, Chloé takes off her phone, and sends a message to Adrien.

“Do you have Nino’s number, Adrikins? I’m gonna apologize to him.”

At night, in the Agreste mansion. Inside of Gabriel’s lair, he has just watched the news where they announced the capture of Aracninvisible in a tablet.

“Uff… It must really suck to be that guy, right?” Says Duusu.

“Shut up, kwami! They really defeated my sentimonster!? I can’t believe it… How could this happen!? It was supposed to be foolproof! Ugh!” Gabriel throws the tablet onto the ground with rage. “Duusu, Spread My Feathers!” Activating the Peacock Miraculous, that is hidden underneath his tie, Gabriel transforms into White Peafowl, who has an outfit similar to his Hesperia one, except that it’s completely white and has a cape made by white peacock feathers. White Peafowl opens the fan he uses as a weapon, and takes a feather from it, charging it with energy and shoves it into the tablet he has thrown into the tablet before. A strange mechanical creature is created in front of White Peafowl.

“Go, Mega-Megaphone! Spread my message!” The lair’s window opens after Gabriel presses a button on the tablet, and the mechanical creature jumps into the world. The creature jumps between buildings, climbing the TVi Tower and connecting itself into the antenna on top of it. Upon doing so, all the televisions of Paris became connected to White Peafowl’s tablet.

“People of Paris, listen carefully. I am White Peafowl. Chancenella, Minou Malchance! Stop playing hero, and give me the ladybug earrings and the cat ring now. You've done enough damage to these innocent people! You’re too young and inexperienced to deal with these Akumas, that has become obvious from your past battles. I could even take care of that small fry villain if you gave them to me. But if you refuse… I’m going to be releasing the worst nightmarishly creatures you could ever imagine into this world! They’re gonna cause so much destruction and chaos over Paris, and it would be only your fault! There’s only one way you can stop me! Giving me your Miraculous! It doesn’t matter which way you choose to do it, I will get your Miraculouses. I will get the absolute power! And then my secret dream will come true! I trust you will choose the correct option here.” White Peafowl liberates the amok inside of the tablet, and Mega-Megaphone disappears from this world. White Peafowl detransforms, and smiles. “Those childs don’t even know who they’re playing with. Don’t worry, Émilie, I will save you from that miserable fate.”

Sunday, September 6th

The camera shows a television, where Andre Bourgeois is giving a speech.

“Taking into account the recent attacks from Dreamfly, and the appearance of this new villain called White Peafowl, it has become obvious that having just two superheroes is not enough to keep Paris safe. Neither Snake Queen nor Minou Malchance are careful enough to avoid the city taking damage. It is because of this that I, as the Mayor of Paris, and out of the sincere concern for my citizens safety, that we have decided to hire Chancenella as a full-time hero. She will be receiving a payment of 20 Euros per hour, and she has been given the job of patrolling Paris daily during the evening shift, to help citizens and police even with criminal deeds that do not necessarily involve Akumatized villains or Sentimonsters.”
