"Don't worry, God is in control". HE always was, IS, and will be, but can we vent?
Can we allow people to release he frustrations that they have pent?
I'm so glad this election is over and done,
the most dangerous, immoral, corrupt person has won.
America has spoken, they said what they said,
I almost cried when I saw the electoral maps turning bright red.
The uncertainty of it all, we don't know what lies ahead,
we don't know what he has planned or the propaganda he will spread.
When stuff gets real, when stuff hits the fan,
no need to complain, when you placed your civil rights into his hands.
The economy, healthcare, and reproductive rights,
our education, the wars, there will be many sleepless nights.
Of course, you still have your right to bare arms,
my weapon will be prayer, I know it will keep me from harm.
At the end of the day, yes, God is in control,
I just needed to get some things off my chest, mind, and soul.
