Chapter Text
Chapter 1:
All trees shall burn,
All boats shall sink
The storm lasted 7 months.
It had terrified the whole continent, prayers and cries for the storm to end by the public went unheard.
The disaster raged on
The sky raged on as thunder and a downpour strong enough to shake and smoothen out mountains fell. It destroyed crops and houses, carrying diseases and famine.
The empire on the 3rd week was struck by a devastating fire.
Huge greedy flames engulfed a third of a forest due to a strike of thunder. The empire's mage barely had time to extinguish it in time before it affected more of the wildlife
On the second month, tall hurricanes invaded the Hais islands and neighboring kingdoms near the sea, many lives were lost as the storm raged higher and more powerful
The third month, the people rejoiced as the disaster faded. The downpour which felt like a hundred pounds of weight to whomever dared traverse had diminished, leaving rain and high winds which let the roads and kingdom borders to slowly open once again
The dark skies cleared to reveal a beautiful mask of stars in the deep blue roofing of the earth.
The skies twinkled especially brightly as the people soon began building back what was destroyed.
Until a star fell.
The brightest star in the constellation was taken from the sky and crashed down on the western continent
This star embodied the shape of man
On the fourth month, the stars blazed brighter, so did the sun. As if punishing the earth with a scorching heat which dried out lakes and plants
Crops which had started to be grown anew died once more by the of the rage of the sun
By the fifth month, the people had grown weary and tired. Famine took away their strength as all they could do was pray. Repent on their actions and and wish for forgiveness so this disaster could stop
Their prayers went unheard, again.
Unusual plants began to sprout, their stems a dark green and their flower a shade of blue with a golden yellow like an odd mutation of Lenten roses and Habiscus
And on the sixth month, when all hope was lost the people's prayers had been ignored for too long, the star awoke
Being more powerful than what the average human could comprehend felt the presence of the star
The disaster was a warning.
Their instincts told them that a greater disaster would strike very soon, and they knew they had to prepare
A being of the heavenly realms has descended.
And on the seventh month, the reddish brown eyes of the angel had opened...
