    Even years after the war, society still holds it's discriminatory ways towards quirks deemed useless or villainous. Hayashi Sayaka and Chiba Byakuren have both suffered horrible childhoods due to this discrimination.

    Now they are both healing from their traumatic childhoods, and run into each other on the street one day. The girls quickly became friends after realizing just how similar they are, and continue to navigate through their lives while struggling through their awful memories together.

    Just two best friends, one aiming to be a hero and the other aiming to create support gear for others, what could go wrong? Well, a lot, apparently.

    And perhaps there's romantic feelings involved along the way.
