   “If it’s not you wanting to be here, then what is it?” Bakugo mumbles into their dinner, back still to him.
   Izuku takes a second to gather his thoughts.
   “It’s… ugh. It feels so stupid to even try and explain.” The blonde turns around, mirroring his pose. He waits for Izuku to go on, face stoic.
   Izuku stared back for a moment. To tell, or not to tell. The ache in his chest and the feeling of teetering on a ledge pushed the words past his lips for him. He couldn’t take it anymore. With a deep breath, he opened his heavy heart.
