Matt had a stalker, after Mello found out he decided to help matt. ensuring Matt could finally get some peace.

.As he did, an old polaroid photo fell into his hand. His heart nearly skipped a beat when he picked it up. It was an image through the window of their bedroom, taken from across the street.
In the picture, Matt was visible sitting in a swivel chair in just a loose hoodie, typing away at his computer. It was slightly blurry and out of focus, so it was likely taken without a tripod.
Mello set it aside and continued with the letter inside.
The letter began with "My Dearest Subject," and immediately Mello had an idea of what kind of person this was. He skimmed over the paragraph of gushing over the object of their affection to get to the end as quickly as possible.
