Summary
NON CANON COMPLIANT AU where Tav can romance Rolan.
Zira has broken up with Astarion after he tried to ascend and left the party permanently. She has made up her mind not to allow any more time for romance until the elder brain is no longer a threat. Fast forward a few months later, Lorrokan is defeated. Zira’s heart breaks for Rolan, despite their inability to get along before.
Conveniently Gale wishes for nothing more than to delve into learning all he can about elder brains and the crown of Karsus. At the same time Rolan needs a change of scenery from the place where he was beaten, burned, and humiliated. Rolan temporarily turns ownership of Ramaziths tower over to Gale as a payment for saving him with the added bonus that Gale will be teaching him a few things as Lorroakan failed to do so. (Of course Lia and Cal will move into the tower and help redecorate it, making it less Lorroakn-y.)
