Summary
The door to Veritas Ratio's office swishes open as someone activates the interface and punches in the correct code from the outside. His visitor catches him between classes, but such is to be expected of him.
A mildly disgruntled Ratio looks up from the stack of papers he'd been giving his undivided attention to. "Kakavasha," he greets with a sigh, leaning back in his chair. A frown creases his forehead. The corners of his mouth twitch down. "Why have you come?"
"I told you I'd be over in five, didn't I?" Aventurine points out, fiddling with one of his chips before he pockets it. He'd called on his driver to take him to Ratio's office as fast as possible upon receiving the message that his expecting boyfriend was feeling under the weather, and he sat through the entire ride with nerves coursing through his body.
In which Aventurine tends to a pregnant Ratio in his office.
