Summary
Years after the Starcourt fire, Steve and Eddie still live in Hawkins. Steve’s content with his life in Hawkins, but feels like he’s missing something. Eddie wants to break through with Corroded Coffin but doesn’t know how. They at least have each other as best friends. Billy left for the West Coast with his fuck off money the moment he got his chance, but returns once a year to Hawkins to visit Maxine and hang with his secret boyfriend Eddie, even though Billy hates looking at his past and can’t wait for them to move away.
The lives of the three men get tangled, which is already a challenge, but with a mystery box that intrigues Steve, makes Eddie happy but haunts Billy, revelations are uncovered, but at what cost?
