Elliott wakes up to Ramya not in the bed next to him which is very unusual since they've Been dating for well over six Months at this point and she's never been mad enough to sleep anywhere else but with him.
"Ramya..Ramya where are you" Mirage says In a quiet tired voice patting the bed where Rampart normally stays. He was worried about her what if she's hurt what If she had left him. No that couldn't be right. He gets up to look for her and sees her laying on the couch with her blanket and a soft pillow under her head.
She was beautiful, strong everything he liked.
He walks over to the couch and shacks her awake. " come on sleepy head you can't sleep all day " Ramparts eyes flutter open and she looks more pissed then ever. " babe what's wrong seriously are you still mad at me-"
Mirage gets cut off by her slapping his hand away from her.
" yes I'm still mad your the reason we lost the game yesterday. I told you not to rush in with your bloody clones and you did anyways and you gave our win to Ajay and Ocatvio " she sighed her face red with furry.
" okay listen I'm sorry they just needed a pice of me i thought I could take them on" Mirage says not sounding apologetic what so ever.
" you know how much we need that money. You can't treat these games...like games this is serious stuff it's our job " Ramya says sounding stern like a mother talking down to a child.
Elliot just looks at her with puppy dog eyes and says sorry in a cute innocent voice.
" no I'm not buying it. Not this time " Rampart gets off the couch and heads towards the bathroom to get ready for the day and she hears him get up to follow her.
" Elliot no not right now not today I need some time okay just give me some time. " she says not looking back at him.
" but it's Valentine's Day..you can't stay mad at your boyfriend on Valentine's Day can you? "
She turns to look at him and gives a defeated sigh. " no I can't but I still need time and it's not like I'm breaking up with you or anything I just need to shower and take a breather understand that please "
Mirage rolls his eyes and nods his head letting his girlfriend go shower and think about everything he has done. He wasn't the listen to orders type of guy when it came to the Apex Games. Even when it came to his girlfriend knowing a bit more on what to do in stressful situations like being in second place and having a good pay check on the line. He still couldn't find himself to listen even though he knows damn well he should.
A idea pops into his head. It is Valentine's Day after all. He could surprise her with a dinner and a few gifts as an apology. Yes this will definitely work.
Mirage sneaks out of there dorm of the huge drop ship all the legends stayed on. Him and Rampart started sharing a dorm once they started dating a few months back which has gone great up until yesterdays game. How could he be so stupid he shouldn't have rushed in there he really did love Ramya so how could he loose this for them. For her. He kept on thinking about it passing by the lounge where wraith, lifeline and Loba were all chatting. It was a normal day for everyone but him. He continued on his way to the store normally he would just send his clones out to do stuff like this for him but this time was different he wanted it to be genuine and from the heart and that was something his clones couldn't do unfortunately.
He walks in too the store and into the valentine's aisle that was almost sold out of everything valentines related.
He didn't really know what he should get her. Candy rose. No. A bag or gummy worms. No none of this was gonna work none of it was good enough. Until he found a box of chocolates that were perfect they were little hearts full of strawberry cream. He decided to get some flowers too a bouquet of roses. This was good roses and chocolates but he needed something else and then he had another idea.
Mirage heads over to the food part of the store and gets some premium pork chops the best money can buy and some fresh green beans and a pack of rice. He was gonna make a valentines dinner for him and Ramya this is gonna be perfect.

Rampart let's the hot water beat on her back thinking about how she got so heated earlier at Elliot..did she do the right thing or was she being too harsh she didn't know but she felt sorry about it. All she wanted to do was apologize and cuddle him right now it is Valentine's Day after all she shouldn't have done that to him. She turns off the water and gets out to clean the fogged up mirror. She wipes off the moist fog and looks at herself not knowing what she has become. " we needed the money...so stupid " she gripped the towel that was around her upset at how she responded to her Boyfriend she knows he didn't go in there on purpose he was just excited full of adrenaline about being in second place in the games it's been weeks since they were that close to a win so who would blame him. Her she could blame him and she did. If she could have followed him into battle instead of sitting back whispering for him to come back they could have won.
She drys off her body and hair and puts it in her ponytail and grabs some clothes she has sitting on the counter waiting for her to be done with her shower. It was a cute sports bra and shorts. Stuff she was comfortable wearing in the dorm and around Elliot she's worn way more scandalous things around him so this was normal. She walks out of the bathroom to have mirage not in there waiting for her making a inappropriate response about her outfit she decided to wear. A feeling of dread rushed over her body. Did she make him that upset that he up and left. Tears started to build up in her eyes she ran out of the dorm room after grabbing a oversized T-shirt and putting it over her sports bra.
She ran to the first Pearson she saw which was Loba walking back to her dorm.
" LOBA!!" Rampart yelled with tears falling out of her eyes " have you seen Elliot anywhere I snapped at him this morning and now he's gone"
" yeah he passed by like thirty minutes ago. I think he headed out " Loba says kinda confused about the situation.
" okay thanks " Rampart says before going back to her and Mirages dorm. She didn't want to bother anyone else on there day off and he must be coming back so she cuddles up on the couch and starts watching a movies.
" I'm back!!" Mirage says opening the door to see his sleeping girlfriend on the couch again with the remote in her hand. He just smiles and puts a blanket over her and put the remote on the coffee table next to her.
He places the bags in the kitchen and sets up some candles and throws some rose petals on the floor around the kitchen table where he put the heart shaped chocolates and roses he bought for her earlier at the store. If anyone knew anything about how to be romantic it was definitely him he just had that charm nobody could resist.
He goes over to the portable grill rampart bought him for Christmas. He had been asking for one for a while and she got it for him it was special to him and perfect to cook pork chops with. He kept it in the kitchen next to the stove.
He lit up the grill smelling that amazing bbq smell he loved grabbing some seasoning so he could flavor the pork chops. He rubbed some oil on them and seasoned them up with some salt, pepper, paprika for that nice spice and some garlic powder. Yum he thought as he placed the two stakes on the grill.
Rampart wakes up from the smell of the pork chops cooking. They smelt wonderful mouth watering even. " Elliot " she said looking over her shoulder to the kitchen.
" hey your awake. Come in her real quick " he said with a wide dumb grin. Ramya was quick to her feet and went into the kitchen and then she noticed the table had a beautiful bouquet of flowers and some cute chocolates and there were rose pestles leading from the couch to the kitchen. It was amazing.
" Wow all this for me " she said blushing like crazy walking over to him where he was cooking some green beans.
" of course it's All for you. Your perfect and deserve this" he looked at her with all the compassion and love he had for her.
" it's amazing thank you so much it's just..wow " he giggled before picking her up and sitting her on the counter. She laughed along with him until she leaned back a little accidentally knocking the pack of rice all over the counter and floor.
" crap the rice " he said still laughing.
" I'm sorry I didn't mean to-" Mirage cut her off putting his finger up to her lips.
" it's fine we don't need rice. Rice is dumb " he said with his finger still on her lips. she giggled at his remark before pulling him in for a deep kiss.
" let's get this cleaned up im starving" she said pushing him away so she could get off the counter. He finished up the green beans and pork chops as she cleaned up all the rice. He was so cute she loved it so much. And he was a good cook.
" this taste so freaking good " she said digging into her meal he prepared for her.
" not as good as you " he said flirtatiously.
" oh stop your flirting and eat your food " she said shoving a bite of pork chop in his mouth.
They both ate there meal and went and cuddled on the couch eating the chocolate's together. After a while Rampart looked up at him.
" I'm sorry about earlier I shouldn't have gotten so upset. " she looked sorry but he didn't understand why.
" babe it's my fault don't worry about it. I know how important this is for you I need to take it more seriously "
She looked at him lovingly and kissed him. They continued the night watching funny videos and kissing until They both fell asleep holding each other.
