Summary
Roronoa Zoro has quickly gained notoriety as an up-and-coming pirate hunter – at least, that’s the latest talk of the town amongst the customers at the Baratie. When Sanji is left with a picture of the man from the day’s newspaper after a conversation with an excited regular, he keeps it against his better judgment. Only– it keeps happening, and soon enough, he has a growing collection of every photo and snippet of Zoro he can find.
He’s not obsessed, okay? But maybe, he does have the beginnings of a full-blown crush on Zoro without even meeting the guy. So when Zoro actually shows up at the Baratie, Sanji is more than a little in over his head. While Sanji never expected to become crewmates with Roronoa Zoro, he jumps at his chance to get to know him.
Sanji just can’t figure out if Zoro really does fulfill all his expectations or if he’s crushed by the reality of just how frustrating Zoro really is. As the scenarios from his head start to play out (or fail to play out) on their journeys, Sanji slowly gets to know the real Zoro, who might just be the love he has always wanted.
