"Kon this is a stupid idea." Tim said with his arms crossed over his chest as he watched Konner set his phone up on a table facing the group of four. There was a cake in front of them as well.
"Too late, you agreed and so did Cassie and Bart!" Kon stuck his tounge out at his boyfriend with a grin. It had taken a few days of asking (it was more akin to begging but Konner wasn't going to admit that to anyone) but Tim had finally agreed to do the tik tok 'hear me out cake' trend. Bart and Cassie had agreed immediately but Tim had been harder to crack. But Konner knew he would crack eventually, after all he could only put up with so much of Kons puppy dog eyes before caving.
"It'll be fun, Tim!" Cassie said with a small clap, she was excited for this. She didn't often partake in online trends, or anything online at all really. She tended to spend her time away from social media, she had tried it for a bit but always found herself bored sooner than later. Since then she had deleted all apps but Instagram and Twitter which she had Instagram for to see her friends stuff and she had a Twitter account dedicated to her hero persona. Which was also rarely active.
Bart was bouncing on the tips of his toes excitedly as he nodded. "This is gonna be great." In his hand he held his little print outs of his hear him outs stuck onto little toothpicks. The speedster was bouncing at a speed that when you looked at him he looked slightly blurred. Tim walked up behind him and put his hand on his other boyfriends shoulder. The speedster slowed down at a slow pace but eventually was only bouncing a normal amount for a person without speed powers.
"Can't be moving that fast on camera, Bart," Tim warned with a soft fondness in his voice, "This is going on Kons public persona account" he looked towards Konner with a sharp but loving look "Despite my suggestion we do this in costume which I was out right denied without a good reason." Konner grinned and blew a kiss at Tim who pretended to dodge out of the way. The kryptonion jokingly grabbed his chest where his heart was and mimed falling to the floor in a dramatic puddle.
"Okay drama kings, cut it out I wanna do this trend." Cassie said as she grabbed her pile of picture sticks off of the table near her and held them so no one else could see them. "Why I started dating the most dramatic people ever is beyond me." Whe muttered with an affection.
"Because we are so cool and hot and get along so well," Konner said winking at Cassie before he stepped away from the table his phone and the cake was set on. "Okay! Phone is set to 10 minutes cause I have no clue how long this will take and we are all set up! You all remember how to do it?" Bart and Cassie nodded in recognition.
"Ya, we say our names then our 'hear me out' character or person or thing" Tim said with a quick nod. He grabbed his coffee cup from the table and took a quick sip of it before placing it down again and standing in front of Cassie and Kon because annoyingly him and Bart were shorter than the other two and it made more sense to place themselves that way in front of the camera.
"Okay great! I'm gonna hit the button, it's on a ten second timer so I have time to get in place and then I will start, then Cassie, then Bart, then Tim!" Konner was excited for this. He had a grin on his face that Tim was sure was going to split right open. The younger boy went and hit the start to the camera and got back in place, at a normal speed, before the timer finished.
And then they were starting.
"Hey, my name is Konner and my first hear me out for the cake is," He pauses for a second as he fumbles with his hear me our sticks before grabbing the right one and placing it in the cake "The DVD sign but specifically when it hits the corner of the screen." Konners face had a large grin on it as Cassie and Bart began to giggle and Tim groaned.
"Hi," Cassie said through giggles, "My name is Cassie and my first hear me out is Mater from Cars." She began to place the stick in as Barts eyes widened.
Bart gasped and jumped slightly "Oh my god I have lighting McQueen!" He said excitedly as he also placed his stick in. "Oh ya also my name is Bart" He grinned at the camera as Tim fumbled with his own sticks.
"Hi, my name is Tim and" he sighed as his face tinged a slight red "my first one is Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon." Kon laughed along with Cassie and Bart. Tim fought back a smile that was curling up his lips.
"Okay Okay, my next hear me out is lumier from Beauty and the Beast!" Said Konner as he placed his next stick into the cake.
"My next one is The Corpse Bride." Cassie stated with as serious as a face as she could muster with Bart still giggling to himself and Konner leaning on her slightly well they all watched Tim fight back a loving look in the camera.
"My name is Bart, wait do I have to keep saying my name?"
"Nope" Responded Kon.
"Okay cool, anyways my next hear me out is Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story." His tooth gap grin had Tim biting the inside of his cheek in adoration well Cassie nodded in solidarity of that pick.
"My next one is the dad from Inside out." Tim said plainly as he put in the next stick.
"Boo boring pick!" Kon said, giving a thumbs down to Tim who in return turned around and stuck his tounge out at Kon.
Kon stuck his tounge out back before turning back to the camera with a grin "My next hear me out is" He showed the next picture to the camera as he put it in the cake, "All the letters but in the comic sans font." Tim let out a snort laugh well Bart began bouncing slowly, well slowly for a speedster, fast for a regular person. Tim grabbed Barts hand slightly and the speedster slowed down again.
"My next hear me out is," Cassie paused to giggle "My next one is the vigilante Spoiler." Tims eyes widened and his head shot around to look at Cassie.
"Why!" He said loudly and Cassie belly laughed, bending slightly over as she did so. Kon snorted and Bart covered his mouth to keep from laughing out loud at Tims distress.
"Come on we gotta keep going" Kon said through laughs.
Bart grabbed his next stick after uncovering his mouth, "My next one is the hot fish from Fish Tales. " He stuck a toothpick in the cake with a picture of Lola from Fish Tales.
"I should have picked her" Cassie said with an approving nod.
Tim sighed out, "Mine is the dad from How to Train Your Dragon."
"Should we be getting you How to Train Your Dragon merch or therapy for your obvious daddy issues?" Cassie asked with a grin on her face.
"What! Neither!" Tim sputtered slightly face flushing red.
"My second to last hear me out is Silence of the Lambs Hannibal" Kon said cutting off the on coming loving argument from one of his boyfriends and his girlfriend.
"I thought we were only doing four each?" Tim said with a confused look, Kon softly shushed him with a mischievous look in his eye.
Cassie nodded again in solidarity, "My last pick is the green lantern rings" She placed a toothpicks with the picture of a green lantern ring into the cake and made a show of showing her now empty hands.
"My last pick is Herobrine" Bart said with a goofy grin and he began to play with his hands as soon as they were empty.
Tim was confused on why Kon had one more still so it took a slight nudge from Bart to bring him back to the current trend at hand.
He cleared his throat slightly. "My last choice is Shane from Stardew Valley." He said as he placed his last pick in.
Konner grinned as he looked into the camera before laughing again, he didn't stop laughing as he said "My last pick is papa Bruce Wayn-" He was promptly cut off by Tim yelling.
"THAT'S MY DAD, KON" His eyes were wide as he turned to look at Konner. Cassie and Bart burst into laughter as Kon put the toothpicks in the cake and Tim went to grab him. He moved out of the way in time though and began running, at a normal human speed, away from Tim.
“WHY THE FUCK DID YOU PUT MY DAD IN KONNER KENT” Tim yelled as he chased him.
"Cut the video Bart!" Kon yelled and Bart grabbed the phone and pressed stop recording as Tim chased after Konner well the other two laughed and clutched at their stomachs.
Thirty minutes later, after Tim had calmed down and given both Konner and Cassie a lighthearted lecture of not putting his ex-girlfriend or his dad on a hear me out cake again Konner posted the video to his personal tik tok account.
It was guaranteed to get views even just having Tim in it, the whole Wayne fame followed him everywhere.
However, maybe over 5 million likes was a bit excessive. But Konner was never taking that video down. Unless Batman actually came into his room to threaten him that video was staying up. No matter how much Tim begged.
