   Summary

   Written for Whumptober 2024 prompt "Body Horror"

   Anticipation flutters when they begin to drape his waist and legs with thin, cool fabric, a syringe injected carefully into the bag of saline above his head that he assumes will put him out. Sure enough, his senses begin to dull, the world going soft around the edges as the pressure of the restraints fade into the background—but he stays fully conscious and aware, heart rate picking up on the monitor the longer it takes to kick in.
