One day, Hitomi Sasaki was cleaning out the school storage room. She hadn't become student council president yet, as the election for that year was yet to be held, but she was hoping for a chance at the position, and this publicity stunt would definitely help her chances. She found a strange-looking lamp. As she rubbed the dust off the lamp, a genie suddenly appeared.
"AAAAHHHHH!" Sasaki screamed, falling backwards. "WHAT THE HELL?!"
"I'm a genie," the genie stated matter-of-factly. "And I can grant you any wish."
"Only one?"
"You want three wishes in this economy?" the genie said, raising an eyebrow.
"That's fair," Sasaki said. "Alright! I want to win -"
Then Sasaki paused. Why stop with just the student council election for this year? Why not every year? In fact, why not let it continue after high school? She could get into politics!
"...Well?" asked the genie.
"I want to win every election I'm ever in! Every single time, the majority should vote for me!"
The genie granted her wish and disappeared. Sasaki smiled. There was no way this wish could ever go wrong.
