Evan 'Buck' Buckley remembers his first kill clearly.
A man was forcing himself on a girl and he saw red for the first time, and the next thing he knew the man was laying on the ground black and blue bruised blossoming with blood covering every inch of him, he thought he might've been obsessed with the feeling.
But he didn't do it again. He was sane enough to know killing was wrong...
Until Maddie - his Maddie - was in danger. And for the first time in year Buck saw red and then Doug was gone for good, he'd never be able to hurt his Maddie again. He told Maddie he was sorry - that he wouldn't do it again. And he had meant.
Then Maddie told him that she wanted to help women get out of situations like the one she had been in, and that's how this started.
