Summary
Jimmy hears a cry from beyond the cockpit door. His mind blanks, devoid of thought, only the primitive urge of his amygdala telling him to get the fuck out. He doesn't want to open it. He doesn't want to fucking open it. He rolls onto his back like a petulant child. He has to open it. He fucked up. He fucked up. I fucked up. The words beat on the inside of his skull like a mantra.
