   Summary

   Jayce’s hand lands on his shoulder and turns Viktor in his chair to face him, and once Viktor is looking up at him, his palm slides down to hold him at the bicep.

   “Come back with me,” Jayce says. Asks. Pleads. Viktor’s heart, the remaining human part of him, beats hard and traitorous in his chest. The warm hand on his arm (which doesn’t feel the same as it did before, as it did when they first touched years ago – everything is divided now into before the chrysalis and after) ignites a soft purple glow within his skin.

   Jayce comes to find Viktor. It gets complicated.
