Summary
Warning: This is me ruining the ending of Firewatch. As a writer, I have to say this, because the end of Firewatch is perfect in its ambiguity. Delilah is never meant to be anything more than a representation of the fact you can’t run away from your problems, and after the initial shock of the ending I was actually really pleased with that fact. However, I am a romantic sap, and I can’t leave it there. This is for me and for anyone else who just can’t let it go, despite knowing we really should.
