Summary
Buck wanted his best friend. He wanted Eddie on the couch, letting him cry in an embarrassingly snotty way and heave until he couldn’t breathe, and he’d put his hand in that spot between his shoulder and neck and say “We’ll figure this out together” or “I’ve got you,” and Buck would be able to fucking breathe again.
Or when Eddie falls into the Pacific, he’s missing, presumed dead. Buck has to fight for Christopher, who’s still in Texas, and Eddie has to fight for himself.
