Zoro drinks more than he should, Sanji feels more than he wants to.Notes:
HOWDYThis is another stand alone one shot - I'm currently writing a follow up for part 1 in the series woooo.
Sooo - I was watching the Aristocats last night (one of the best Disney movies okay) and wrote this zosan based on the line "you're eyes are like sapphires"
Pining Zoro as usual

Sanji blinked, confused. It had been a long time since he'd seen Zoro like this. It took a lot of sake to get the swordsman tipsy, and even then, Zoro was a stubborn one. The last time he’d seen him this far gone was back on Skypiea—sitting around the fire and watching the crew dance."Did you drink all my sake?" Sanji couldn't help but ask, a teasing edge to his voice. "I don't even need to check my list to know you have moss for brains."
Zoro grumbled, his head falling into his hand with a lazy smirk as he leaned on the table. "I didn’t drink all of it," he slurred, his eyes glinting with mischief. "Just... enough."
Sanji rolled his eyes, looking back down at the notebook. “If you must know, I’ve been doing inventory. Unlike some moss-brained freeloaders, I actually keep this ship running. I made sure to write down everything necessary for us to make it to the next island, like—”
“You talk too much,” Zoro interrupted, his words thick with the warmth of sake, followed by a low chuckle. “You should be quiet once in a while.”
Sanji was about to snap at the comment, but when he looked at Zoro, the retort died on his tongue.
Zoro was smiling. Not the smug, teasing grin that usually sat across his face but a softer, more genuine expression. His lips curled faintly, his usually sharp eyes softened, and there was an ease to his face that Sanji rarely saw.
Sanji could never get used to those smiles. They were so rare that he found himself storing them away, treasuring each one as though they were moments meant just for him.
Unexpectedly, a laugh escaped him—soft, almost surprised.
Zoro was... cute when he was like this.
"Not used to seeing you drunk, mosshead," Sanji said, walking toward the table and sitting across from him.
Zoro shrugged, his head still leaning on his hand, the unsteady grin never fading. "Just one of those nights, Curly."
Sanji frowned, he wasn’t sure how to feel about that answer. Beneath the teasing words, something in Zoro’s eyes hinted at something deeper, something unexpected. Worry twisted in his chest.
"Don't stress your pretty little head, cook. I’m fine."
Sanji felt himself freeze, his eyes widening at the comment. Pretty? He tried to brush it off, chalking it up to Zoro being drunk, the sake speaking for him.
It didn’t mean anything.
Zoro didn’t mean it.
