    Summary

I always thought Nicholas Alexander Chavez did a wonderful job portraying Lyle as this deeply layered guy who was tortured all his life by a narcissistic father and was scared to show his emotional vulnerabilities, so he hid behind a facade of absolute crazy.

Did they go a little overboard? Probably. But I loved Lyle's character and thought that he was the more vulnerable of the two because while Erik was more in touch with his emotions, Lyle was in such great denial and so in his own bubble that he couldn't admit what had happened even to protect himself until Leslie literally forced him.

That last scene before their sentencing where Erik helps him button his shirt collar was especially sad to me. Even in the end, he couldn't express how he felt. And so, this story was born out of all the conflicting emotions the series made me feel.

This is NOT a depiction of the real life Menendez brothers. I wholeheartedly believe in them and hope they are freed soon.

This is a story about the actors as the characters because they have undeniable chemistry.
