Summary
There are things he wants to hold onto forever. Chuuya's smile, his laugh, the way he stretches in the morning when he wakes up on Ranpo's couch. The curve of Chuuya's shoulders. His toothbrush against the bathroom sink.
Of course, there is too much of life to condense the idea of him and Chuuya into all the background details. He tries anyway. Sometimes he dreams of Yokohama lights reflected in the water of the port.
Ranpo is made whole by old dreams and old regrets. Through all the years there is Chuuya, moonlight, and everything he doesn't want to leave behind. Across different times and different lives, they complete each other, again.
