She just had time to snap the pic and send it to Madeleine before her dads emerged into the yard, Louis panicking and grabbing her phone and Lestat pulling her back from the fire like it was going to leap out and hurt her, before he burst out into inappropriate laughter.
When Louis yelled at him to stop laughing, that none of this was funny, Claudia couldn’t help but laugh too.
