   Summary

   Carlos is completely blindsided by the possibility of Ranger Campbell's betrayal, and now the guy can't seem to keep his husband's name out of his mouth.

   It's enough to send Carlos reeling into a pit of confusion, doubt and despair.

   Things get a lot worse before they ever feel like they can get better again.

   AU Ending to Season 5 Episode 8, and a kind off speculation fic for 5.09 leading off of that.
