Ryusui is a very affectionate man; you’ve known that since he was revived. He won’t touch you without permission, but once you give the okay, he’s all over you. It started small, like headpats, to brushing your hair, to a hand on your shoulder pulling you towards him. Whenever you came back from a mission Senku sent you on, you’d be rewarded with a hug from Ryusui.
Even with all the physical contact, you don’t think Ryusui is interested in you in that way. With how greedy he is, he would naturally say I desire everyone!. You just assumed that the others all said no to being touched, so he had to settle with you. You never would have thought he had asked only you.
Late one night, you wake up and go to get some water when you hear familiar voices by the waterside.
“Y/N is pretty oblivious, don’t you think?” said Gen.
“If I, the one least interested in love, have noticed and she hasn’t, she has to be as dense as osmium.” replied Senku.
“Maybe I should find a way to get Ryusui to say it out loud in front of her…”
“Nah, they’ll figure it out eventually. As long as it doesn’t affect everyone else, we should let it be.”
You walk back to your tent as you contemplate what you heard. The conclusion you arrive at makes you blush. You don’t get any more sleep that night, too excited by the prospect of Ryusui liking you romantically.

As the sun rises, you make your way up a hill, where you can get an unhindered view of the horizon. You know this is Ryusui’s favorite spot in the morning. You walk up besides him, taking in the rays for a few moments in silence. In those moments, you finally mustered up the courage to ask Ryusui about his feelings for you.
“R-ryusui…do you like me?”
“What do you mean, Y/N? Of course I do! I like everyone on this planet!” He exclaims, grinning.
Sighing a little, you try again.
“I mean, do you have romantic feelings for me?”
His grin dims down to a soft smile.
“I thought I was being obvious all this time.”
This confirms it for you, and your entire face reddens like a tomato.
Ryusui approaches you and places a hand on the side of your face.
“I’ll be blunt: I love you. What about you, Y/N? Do you love me?”
Lost for words, you simply nod.
You share your first kiss as the sunrise illuminates your surroundings.
