MCCOY: You guys better get down to medical. We've got a new arrival I think you're gonna want to see.
KIRK: Yeah? Who showed up?
MCCOY: You sitting down, Jim?
KIRK: Lying down, but yeah.
MCCOY: It's Pike.
KIRK: Fuck. Seriously?
MCCOY: Seriously. He's in bad shape, but Lissa's on her way. I've got him stable until she gets here.
KIRK: So he came from right after asshole attacked him.
MCCOY: Yeah, he did, but he's gonna be fine.
KIRK: Good. That's good.
SPOCK: Does that make him Captain still, then? I do not think that there is a rule for this situation.
MCCOY: I think it's still Admiral, Spock, but it's not like our ranks mean anything here. I'm the only one who's kept his title in Atlantis.
SPOCK: I cannot simply just refer to him as Pike, Doctor. That would be disrespectful and highly inappropriate.
MCCOY: Maybe you should ask him what he wants to be called before you decide what's not appropriate, Spock.
SPOCK: That is a logical situation to consider, Doctor. I shall speak with him on the matter.

KIRK: [Private To Uhura] Hey.
UHURA: [Private To Kirk] You want to talk about it?
KIRK: [Private To Uhura] I don't know.
UHURA: [Private To Kirk] Talk anyway. It's not good to keep it bottled up.
KIRK: [Private To Uhura] He's here. He's going to live. I just...it's a lot to take in.
