The grandeur of the SN Enterprises gala was unparalleled, as expected of Sky, the charismatic CEO whose name commanded respect in every corner of the business world. The event was flawless, meticulously planned to celebrate the company’s latest milestone. Yet, amidst the sea of glittering faces and champagne flutes, Sky’s sharp gaze froze on a figure he never thought he’d see again.
Nani.
It had been five years since their divorce, five long years of emptiness disguised as success. But here he was, standing across the hall, looking breathtakingly familiar yet heartbreakingly distant.
