It should've been easy to brush off too, the man was much cleaner and kinder than Lee. A model officer, objectively flawless. A stolid secretary to high-middle officers, maybe even to his parents at some point. He knows everyone in the building for one. Never fusses at his work, never complains when Tsubaki(or Taeho) closed their eyes during a fight. Doesn't drink. Eats to live, yet an excellent cook and adeptly stumbles small talk. Yet his advice is as decisive as his battle technique. Yet here Taeho couldn’t hear, he couldn’t move, he couldn’t speak, he probably wasn't even breathing right now. He wasn't even sure if he was alive right now, but surely more than him.
