    Jayce awoke from his horrifying dream, drenched in sweat. He could still feel the echoes of the explosion—the blinding light, the deafening roar, and Viktor’s face twisted in determination. It felt too vivid to dismiss.

    "I’ve had worse," Jayce muttered under his breath, as if to convince himself. He swung his legs off the side of the bed, taking a moment to ground himself in reality.

    The room around him felt familiar—Piltover’s polished elegance—but something was off. Subtle, yet undeniable. Dragging himself into the bathroom, he splashed cold water on his face and paused to stare into the mirror. His reflection stared back, but it wasn’t quite right. His features looked... sharper, older. His voice, when he spoke, sounded foreign.
