One week after Kaveh tries to kill himself, Alhaitham visits him in the hospital.
“How long have you felt like this?”
“What?”
Alhaitham is still standing, and Kaveh almost wants to tell him to sit down already and stop making things awkward! “There are supposed to be signs, but I didn’t—you never,” Alhaitham’s eyes close tightly. “I never saw anything wrong.” Kaveh can’t give him an answer.
