“For the last time Jax, Die Hard is not a Christmas movie!”
Jax merely smiles down at the jester, spinning the disc in hand. “It’s a movie that takes place during Christmas; ergo, it’s a Christmas movie.”
“It’s not….” Pomni stops herself and groans. They’ve been going at this for at least thirty minutes. At this point, their allotted time in the theater will be up and Caine will insist they get to bed for tomorrow’s adventure.
Though….
“Well, if you want to watch any movie that takes place during Christmas,” Pomni reaches for the rack and pulls out her choice, “We could watch this?”
Jax raises a brow. “Batman Returns? Seriously?”
“It takes place during Christmas,” she gives a challenging smirk. “Ergo, it’s a Christmas movie.”
“True. But you know what would be a better choice?” he tosses the disc for Die Hard aside (it automatically goes back to its case on the shelf) and grabs another movie.
Pomni frowns at it. “Gremlins.” She looks at him with a raised brow. “That’s the best you can do?”
The two spend the rest of the evening combing through every available option to them trying to one-up the other on the most ‘technically Christmas’ movie they could find. Eventually, it leads to what they initially wanted to do: pick a movie to watch together. As they agree on one, their time runs out and Caine shoves them out of the theater.
As they walk back to the dormitory hallway Pomni glances at the taller rabbit. “Do… you want to watch it tomorrow?”
Jax purses his lips in thought, quickly parting into a mischievous smirk. “Actually… I’d rather watch something classic; like Home Alone.”
“Seriously?”
