Blinded by the fear that she will not be able to control her powers, Elsa runs away to the mountains, the only place she can be alone and not hurt anyone. In her palace, Elsa struggles with her inner doubts and wonders if she will ever be good enough for this world.
“Elsa had always wanted to be free… to be alone. Somewhere where she wouldn’t have to worry about losing control of her powers or emotions again…. Somewhere where she could be herself and just let it go.
“But… now that she was here…. all she wanted was to be back with her sister…
“Maybe she just wasn’t good enough. Maybe she had to be stronger to be someone. Maybe she was supposed to be able to control her powers. Maybe that was the way God intended her to be, and she simply couldn’t live up to His expectations.
“‘Are you disappointed in me, God?’ Elsa asked out loud…
“Never, child. Never.”
